I Have used RentGuard Insurance several Years, and they have always provided with very good insurance prices, customer services and policy docs sent straight away via email. Only drawback now is that the prices are not as competitive as before, and have to look for different Insurers.

I had called in for a quotation to be told I was being transferred to the new business team, once transferred I was kept on hold for 18 minutes and then the line cut.
Very difficult to obtain a quote from this company.

I previously was used to a good service from Rentguard in previous years. However this is the second year running I have encountered issues when I really shouldn’t do considering I have only two policy renewals.
This year when trying to renew I was greeted with by someone stating they weren’t renewals and I need to be transferred and in my opinion they seemed rather angry in the fact I had come through even though I had pressed ‘2’ for renewals, so already I felt why on earth would I give business to a company that make me feel such a way.
Dramatic drop in service levels over the years.

When I called into the office this afternoon I was greeted with shouting and very rude language in the background which I do not expect from a company as such.
I was on the phone in which I said hello 4 times to no response with shouting and laughter as background noise, after 10 seconds somebody what seems like placed me on hold to the point I cut the line.
Very unprofessional company, first time I had tried to use them being an NRLA member and I shall pass feedback onto the NRLA regarding this experience.

Rentguard have been awfully unhelpful this year so much so I have taken my policies elsewhere.
I had phoned in to renew my policies and wanted to discuss the increase of over 100% in price, I was truly shocked when the renewal agent seem so unbothered and explained it was index linking and nothing could be done, this was understood but the pure rude tone I received really did aggravate me!

Worked with Rentguard for a number of years as an introducer. I have never found it as difficult to get hold of a staff member for a simply quote, or discuss a renewal.
I was informed they were short staffed however this is the case everyday!

Greeted with a very unprofessional tone of voice. Wouldn’t have thought I was calling a company and doesn’t make the customer want to even place business with them.
I think they need to have a look at who they hire if I’m being honest.

I understand pricing has increased everywhere, but to be increased up to 110% seems a joke.
Worse so, the renewals agent was very rushed and miserable and makes you wonder why you would even want to renew! Took my policy elsewhere.

Couldn’t get through on the phone to obtain a new business quotation as the line kept cutting off. Finally got through to be told the systems were down and I would be sent documentation once up and running.
Still waiting!

Called in for a quote for a landlord insurance policy to be told someone would call me back, this did not happen for 2 days, gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back in to be told the same thing, to AGAIN no call back.
Seems they don’t want customers business!

Renewals agents so miserable on the phone! Sound very robotic atleast have some enthusiasm if you’re taking customers money! I feel over the years service have dropped considerably, customer service doesn’t seem like they know what’s going on transferring me to the wrong team twice!!
Not worth the hassle, prices gone up and service drops dropped

Absolute scam of a company! since the takeover of Gallagher this place has continued to decline in service, I think they are trying to run the company into the ground.
Always short staffed so obvious to me something is going on which I guess wouldnt be positive, can only imagine what there office looks like.
AVOID and use direct line!

I have used rentguard for a number of years- the renewal process is always very straight forward and it is always very easy to talk to the team on the phone. The people who answer the phone have always been able to quickly resolve my queries. Recently I had to make a number of changes to the policy very quickly - Reena in customer services was amazing- she was able to action the changes really quickly and amazingly I was never put on hold. Hello my policy was due to expire, and had to renew over the phone as I am abroad.
To make matters worse because of the time difference I was due to play pool for a team.
The sales executive was a true star as he had to call me back as my match had just begun, lots of questions and he made the policy very clear.
100% top sales staff and pleasure doing business with.
