Very happy with the company & after sale support.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Rest! From the very first contact, through the assessment, and finally getting my solar panels installed, everything was handled seamlessly and professionally. Having recently bought an electric car, I was on the hunt for an EV charger, and I’m so glad I found a company that could take care of both solar and EV charging for me.
A huge shoutout to Charlotte, who was incredibly patient and helpful, answering my endless questions before the appointment. Her knowledge and friendly approach made the whole process stress-free. I’ll definitely be recommending this company to my family and friends. Amazing service from start to finish!

Poor service

Despite all the effort of booking an appointment, emails and phone calls they don’t even turn up and honour their appointment. No phone calls or emails to cancel or apologise.
I wouldn’t be recommending this ‘two bit’ company!

Untrustworthy company. Had some solar panels installed by REST and I noticed that one had cracks, as if someone dropped some heavy object on it. Reported to Rest and they said that I should prove that they caused the damage. How can I? They themselves could not provide evidence, such as photos, that the panel was intact at the time the installation was completed. Now I have a panel that I need to pay someone to replace.
Beware that these people also use selling tactics that involve first showing you a quote, then bringing the figure down if you sign the contract on the spot. I think this selling tactic is illegal. I regret to have had anything to do with this company. All I can do is warn someone else.

I recently had an excellent experience with REST Solar Panels. From the initial contact to the installation, the entire process was seamless and professional. The team was trustworthy and honest, providing excellent communication throughout.

A special mention goes to our sales person, Raihan. He was brilliant in explaining everything clearly and answered all my questions patiently. Raihan’s presence on the installation day was reassuring and ensured everything went smoothly.

Reliable and friendly

Very good and trustworthy company, very smooth to deal with and Saif was very honest and explained to us exactly how everything would work. Would definitely recommend getting your solar panel then with them!

I had my solar panels fitted last week. So far so good and the app is quite addictive watching the energy going from the panels to the house rather than the grid to the house.
So hopefully that means we are saving plenty of money.
The company was very fast and efficient.
I feel sorry for Simon who came to see us because he said if I had any questions that I should contact him ,so I did and I’m sure he cursed every time he saw my number come up.
I was sceptical because you hear lots of horror stories but it has all gone without a hitch.
I am just waiting for my DNO code then I can let my supply know and I can start selling any extra energy I get back to the grid.
It being in the middle of December ,I don’t imagine I’ll have much just yet, though.

I have to say that the team we had to fit our system were absolutely brilliant, their outstanding work and knowledge of the system gave us complete confidence we had made the right choice to have them fitted and chosen the right company to fit them, Andrew who dealt with us from the beginning was always there at the end of the phone to give advice on the type and to how it would be installed.
I can't thank the company enough for their excellent service and support.

Do NOT use this company. What they basically do is manipulate you into signing contracts and paying deposits. They tell you it is refundable but once you've signed, they will tell you, you signed and express service for installation. They told me to pay a deposit just for their visit and which they don't tell you because fore time. Once they are in your house for so called survey, they manipulate you to o pay deposit and claim it's refundable but it's not. I called to cancel and have my refund but they kept turning me around. THAT'S DECEPTIVE AND FRAUDULENT in my opinion. They basically charge you a premium to for basic installation. I'm happy I followed my instincts and didn't go with them. Don't believe anything they say. They are just a sales team under pressure to make money off ignorant. I

Thank you for a very pleasant service and install at ashiq asif and the rest team , only company i could find with 500w panels with an insurance backed guarantee. Clean tidy job . You get what you pay for im a happy santa!

I recently had solar panels installed by REST after being recommended by a family member, and am very happy with the experience. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and ensured I was comfortable. The installation was completed on time and to a very high standard, with almost no disruption.

Since switching to solar, I’ve already noticed a significant reduction in my energy bills, and it feels great to be contributing to a greener future for my family.

We recently had a visit from a REST Team salesperson, during which we signed up and paid a £250 deposit. The salesperson clearly confirmed that we had a 14-day cooling-off period. However, when we called to cancel just two days later, the Sales Director informed us that a refund was not possible because we had unknowingly signed a waiver hidden in the fine print. This contradicts what we were told. I urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this company. I am currently consulting a solicitor to address the issue, but for now, please be wary if you are approached by them.
