Find out at closing that I was being charged 15% for the down payment instead of the standard 3.5%. Very unpleasant experience and lack of transparency.

As the seller, I was pretty much left in the dark. 99% of the little information I received was third party, through my daughter, the buyer. I wasn't even informed by your company the first two closing dates, or when they were rescheduled. I felt like an unimportant third wheel through the entire process.

Rocket close, she was very professional. She was on time. She was very well-spoken, answered all of my questions to the fullest.

We had a wonderful experience with all the contacts we engaged with. Everyone was very helpful, very courteous and always very informative. In the middle of the process the loan type was changed and that was done seamlessly.
All the tasks get posted on the website and at times it is a bit overwhelming but there was always someone reaching out to help or available when we called.
From start to finish it only took 45 days to complete and close on our home purchase.

Not happy at all with the process. It was a long time to complete and at the end I was quoted three different monthly payments with one value was my current mortgage with Rocket. When I told the agent that the amount of the loan should triple, then he realized the error. But the time taken to close was poor. I mean from providing the final bits of information and approval to the actual closing was the longest. Now I'm getting hit with additional interest charges and that was the main reason for going through this process. I don't hear anyone saying that Rocket will cover the interest charged. I was told that if I contacted all the credit card companies and explained that they will receive payment in full after the end of the billing cycle, they would not charge me for the month which we all know that's not true. I don't go through this every day but I do remember that the financial institutions sent the funds directly to the companies cutting down the process time. I admit, I'm not a financial guru but I don't remember any similar process that I have done taking this long to complete. I'm providing 2 stars because Ben, the agent coordinating the closing was very good, otherwise.

Everyone was very nice

Couldn't be happier with them from beginning ro end.
I really wasn't expecting much help, as I talked fo several "financial experts" that were nice enough but Couldn't navigate through my family sell situation and my need for some credit guidance.
I was so pleased that the Rocket Staff and I connected with Chuck Ajami who got me started and then Zack and then Maurita and Crystal to wrap up. It was a timely process that left all parties happy. This all with some involved individuals who aren't the most tech savvy being able to complete the process without confusion or frustration.
The staff and communication from them was definitely amazing and a new chapter has begun they have helped me take back my life. thank you Rocket Mortgage for being my personal ROCK STARS!

The process took too long and no one knew why. Outdoor painting was expected to be done during snow and rain.

Every step was covered. Back up people in place when needed if a rep was not available. Technology that worked and made it easy. Closed on time and at a lower rate.

I am happy to be back with Rocket Mortgage after giving another bank a try when I purchased this house seven months ago. Nothing but a bad experience from the beginning with that bank.
