Cannot recomend Royvon enough!
Travelling all the way across the Atlantic while leaving your dog behind is daunting, but needn't be if she is staying at Royvon. The only downside is that she will not be so impressed to go back home when you pick her up at the end: she had so much fun! Every day we received photos of Lola playing with other dogs, or with the fabulous care team during enrichment sessions. We took the option of having her do refresher sessions with Charlie, her trainer, and Charlie posted videos of every training sessions, explaining what she was doing and how we could keep up the training. Charlie also went through the physio exercises that Lola needs to do, as she has hip dysplasia. Lola got all her medication and supplements as punctually as if she was at home, and ate all her food; if she came back a little bit skinnier it is because she got more exercise and stimulation than she gets with us. She seems very relaxed and well behaved. They even washed her tug toy at the end! We cannot recommend Royvon enough,

Great level of care
Our dog has been attending this daycare centre in Bridgend weekly now for over a year and also stayed as a boarder overnight a few times. The level of care is very high, the staff are all very kind and polite people and the centre seems well run on social media- it's a huge comfort to see daily pictures posted of your dog at daycare/boarding. My dog is always ridiculously excited to go in with the staff which I feel speaks for itself.
I was a little wary when the centre changed hands from Fur Indoors to Royvon and I saw the prices go up (Full day of daycare went up by about £5 and boarding more so) however I understand that this was likely a necessary change for the business and have also viewed that in all the most important ways - level of service and care of the dogs - nothing has changed and Royvon seem like a great company to trust with your pet.
I would definitely recommend to friends in the future.

Great place, bad pricing
Great place and staff are amazing, dog always enjoys but the prices are becoming extortionate since Royvon took over.
Have gone from paying £35 a night when it was Fur Indoors (Bridgend), to £62 for a one night stay now it's Royvon Bridgend. Starts at £50 then £5 add-on for "high peak surcharge" (summer months) and another £7 for "late pick up fee", although there is no discount for late drop off. I still recommend the place to friends but advise them all they need deep pockets now it's part of a corporate chain.

We had to make some tough decisions when we took on Fur Indoors as it was running at a loss and was not sustainable as a business. We didn't want to compromise on care or quality of the fun dogs have with us so we have had to make significant changes to the pricing. We are definitely not a corporate chain, we are a family-run business, started in Merthyr in 1959 and still run by the same family. I feel confident that my dogs are safe and well cared for at Royvon. The staff are very helpful and friendly and my dogs love them. There’s a great range of activities for them to take part in so their differing needs are well met. I enjoy receiving regular updates about their stay. The latest stay was 12 days and they are happy and healthy on their return home.

Luca's experience at Royvon
We wanted to trail run a stay for Luca as we wanted to go on holiday and he's never been away from us. Luca initially stayed overnight, then 2 nights and eventually 10 days. We could tell he thoroughly enjoyed his stay and we were well updated daily on his progress with pictures, videos and reports. This gave us piece of mind and kept us happy, knowing he was well looked after and cared for while we were away. We can't thank the staff enough for taking care of our baby boy - who we know can be a bit of a handful. Thanks to everyone at Royvon!

No refund poor communication
We cancelled our boarding with you. After multiple attempts at getting my large refund back I have still heard nothing. Your Bridgend branch is so hard to get in contact with. I have emailed you used your online account contact form I have used what's app. We have even used the old phone method with no answer. Your customer service really does need to be looked at. I am very disappointed by your silence.

Training with Mimi
I had a six week training course with Mimi. She was amazing. Not only she taught and corrected so much with my dog but she also taught me so much. Now both my dog and I understand each other a lot better. Whenever I say Mimi’s name, my doggie gets so excited. I strongly recommend Mimi if you have an introvert dog like mine.

When we collected our puppy from Royvon he was very lethargic. We looked at the food we'd measured out for him, and it was virtually untouched.
After admitting they hadn't fed him, Royvon firstly gave the excuse that it was a busy time of the year for them, then subsequently changed the excuse saying that staff didn't realise he was still there.
He also came back covered in a rash that he still hasn't fully recovered from.
Finally we only received photos for one of his enrichment sessions and received no reports at all. When questioned about this, Royvon stated that staff had deleted them. We strongly suspect he didn't receive the remainder of his enrichment sessions or toilet breaks that we paid so much money for.

We take your complaints and issues very seriously. As we are already investigating these issues and in touch with you directly, we won’t go into full details here. However, to help other people understand this situation and the contrast of this review to our other five-star reviews, we would like to note the following:
Your puppy was fed to schedule for the lunch, dinner and breakfast meals that he was with us. He was due to have a final lunch before check out and human error meant that this meal was missed for which we deeply apologise, and we are currently changing our systems to make sure this cannot happen again.
All enrichment activities were completed on both Saturday and Sunday. All sessions are time-stamped by the team member who carried out the session and our system shows these were all complete. While customers receive photograph/s of their dogs each day during an enrichment activity, we do not suggest anywhere that there will be photographic evidence of every activity selected.
We are sorry to hear about Joey’s skin reaction. It is impossible for us to know whether this was in response to something in the environment at Royvon or before or after his stay. In his enrichment session, we used our usual high-value treats for training which included ham and cheese, as there were no notes about any kind of allergy. Of course, as Joey is young this may be a new allergy which we would recommend a vet advise on. Likewise, Joey used our pool on Saturday afternoon which could possibly have caused an irritation.
