Overnight Stay
Staff looked after my labrador overnight to enable me to attend a birthday celebration, after travelling from North East England. The premises are very secure and check in/check out were very smooth. I dont normally leave my dog anywhere but I could relax knowing he was safe and well taken care if. Would definitely use again.

Board and train stay
Our dog Rocky a 20month old labrador recently spent almost 2 weeks at Royvon (Merthyr Tydfil).
Rocky had an amazing board at training stay and actually cried on leaving his trainer (Anna W) who was absolutely fantastic with Rocky and made excellent progress with him.
Everyday we received updates both written and videos of his activities and training, this put our minds at ease. We would like to thank everyone at Royvon for looking after Rocky. We will definitely be making a further booking very very soon If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommended.

Loved by all but unfortunately no change.
We were initially pleased with what we were offered although it didn't take long to recieve a phone call saying the program we had decided on was the wrong one & more money was needed to give Mutley the right program. The first problem began because we weren't on 'What's app' but they worked out how to send reports & photos another way. All we really ever saw was Mutley in a field on his own with the odd video showing us some training going on which was very heavily food based & their treats were what they termed 'high value treats' which appeared to us to be cheese & sauages. We don't know what Mutley did when he was not being trained. When it came to taking Mutley 'out into the world' they took him as far as the end of the lane & not into a a busy place at all, for about 5 minutes. On the pick up day we had a session with the trainer which was not particularly successful, less so for myself than the wife. We never managed another follow up as we could not attend on the scheduled date as I had an hospital appointment & no offer was made to reschedule & since then there has been no follow up from Royvon at all. On returning home we tried to keep what we had been told Mutley needed in practice but to no avail. He returned as he was sent to Royvon with no apparent change. This was most diappointing as a small improvement would have nmade everything worthwhile. All in all I have no doubt that the intentions were well founded & the people seemed genuine but they achieved nothing for which they charged a great deal of money.

Behaviour assessment
I took my GSD for her behaviour assessment and Romeo was great at explaining the training methods and we quickly saw how it helped change and defuse the behaviour. Romeo explained everything really well and demonstrated clearly the techniques for us to use. We are looking forward to continuing our training at Royvon and feel like we have made the right choice in trainers as they showed a great knowledge of German shepherd’s too which really reassures us.

Paddy our reactive border collie was…
Paddy our reactive border collie was excellently cared for at Royvon. Due to his reactive nature to other dogs he received one to one care on his three nominated daily outings. Every evening we received a report on his day including photographs. This was really reassuring to us that he was having a lovely time. Although he didn't mix with other dogs he was clearly a hit with all the staff. Many thanks to everyone at Royvon for keeping our mind at ease.

Puppy training program for 5 month old excitable puppy
Our 5 month old puppy had a stay at Royvon Merthyr for the puppy training program. She had individual attention from Anna who really helped to progress her training. She is now much more focused at home, and able to control her excitement levels better.

My rescue dog Bella can be reactive and anxious in new situations. I know that the people at Royvon will take their time with her so that her stay away from home goes well. They Just Care…
This is the 4th stay for our Pip and frankly I wouldn’t trust anywhere else to take care of her.
Great facilities, staff who care and understand about dogs…she always loves it there and we can go on holiday safe in the knowledge that she is looked after.
If these guys are within driving distance I would urge you to check them out…you and your furry friend will not be disappointed

I cannot express how grateful I am to…
I cannot express how grateful I am to everyone at Royvon. My male Staffie X is dog and people reactive and he is an anxious boy. My daughter got married in April and we were desperate to have some where for him to go. They were the only facility that didn’t turn him away. We started off doing half day daycare, progressing to full day. He had 2 favourite handlers. Moving forward to last week, we got to enjoy an overseas holiday, he is now everyone’s favourite, sits on their lap and gives bum wiggles to anyone who passes by. He even has doggy friends too. Thank you, thank you Royvon Team. You have literally changed our lives.

Exceptional happy stay
Easy to book, Staff respond to your queries in a reasonable time.
My Sebbie always has an enjoyable stay and staff give him the attention he needs. He always comes back tired after enjoying his walks, exercising and meeting new friends.
My Sebbie is my world and I would never choose another place.!!
Also like to add Royvon meet the needs of big dogs, which other kennels do not accept. Sebbie is a male Doberman who has played at Royvon with other Dobermans, German Shepherds and Labrador’s.

Welcoming, caring and efficient
I hsve used Royvon for a few years now when I have gone on business, holiday or.more lateley due to an operation. They have always handled my requests efficiently and have looked after my 2 rotties with great care. One of them is diabetic and requires insulin daily so it is a big ask and not many are willing to take on that responsibility.

Very friendly and trust worthy. This is the third time we have used Royvon and will return. Jasmine always seems happy when we pick her up and exited when we drop her off.
