Larch TGV and treated Shiplap boards.
Generally I am very happy with your products and delivery service. I bought some Larch TGV boards to make garage doors. The delivery time was given as 15 to 20 working days; the wood arrived within that period and is of good quality. Delivery was excellent and by closed van. The boards were bound together in packs of 5. The one problem which reduces my assessment from 5- to 4-star is that the wood, as delivered, was soaking wet, as if the packs had been left out in the rain before delivery, and water had run into the end grain and along the faces of the boards. I had to open all the packs and lay out all the boards with spacers to dry, which took about two weeks and seriously delayed completion of the job. I should add that an earlier order of treated Shiplap boards was also delivered in a similar soaking wet state, again in a closed van, meaning that the exposure to the rain (assuming that was the source of the soaking) must have been before the day of delivery.

The finished edges where they had been…
The finished edges where they had been cut could have been finished better.
Pen marks all over both gates and glue running out of all joints when it rained.
Good gates just feel they are rushed.

Disappointed with some of the timber…
Disappointed with some of the timber delivered, despite prior to ordering I clarified what I would have delivered.
Some boards required finishing, which when ordering I was told they would not require any further preparation. The knives on their planer seemed to be not sharp and have cut up the timber
Also really disappointed with customer service as they totally ignored my e-mail regarding the quality of my delivery.
The only good point is they price matched my order.

a good range of gates online
a good range of gates online and we found the ideal curved top side gate at a reasonable price . It had to be made but we were kept well informed of progress and within 2 weeks we were contacted by their nominated carrier who confirmed the day and time slot for delivery which was carried out by 2 people who were helpful in carrying our gate to the side of our house . The gate is now up and working perfectly and looks great

5 bar field gate
I bought a rough sawn 5 bar field gate, ordered Thursday delivered from Devon to Aberdeenshire 5 days later, the price was great, delivery from over 650 miles away was free.
The quality of the gate was outstanding for the price, fully treated timber good build quality, not flimsy its good sturdy timber I can't fault it

Gate was made to size in their factory which was spot on.
Communcation and administration was first class.
Delivery confirmation was good and extremely reasonable cost.
