This product with the new spray nozzle was absolutely useless, paint poured out down the can and all over me, I rang customer services to be told the person I needed to talk to was in a meeting,said they would put me through to someone but cut me off. Poor product and even poorer customer service, another trip back to b&q for a refund , no real apology there and this can was £18 , alot better products on the market at cheaper price that don't cover you in paint and actually go on what its intended to.

Ich kenne Rust-Oleum vom Baumarkt. Dort werden Kreidefarben angeboten. Im Internet bestellte ich von dieser Firma Heizkörperlack. Rust-Oleum zeigt dort verschiedenste Farbnuancen im hochpreisigen Lack Bereich an. Ich wählte ein hell gelbes mattes grün mit der Bezeichnung "Buchsbaum" für Heizkörper geeignet. Ich habe einen kallibrierten Bildschirm, denn ich bin der der Graphikbranche tätig. Versendet wurde von dieser Firma dann eine Farbdose ohne konkrete textliche Farbbezeichnung. Das finde ich unseriös. Auf dem Deckel war ein farbiger Aufkleber der die beinhaltete Farbe darstellen sollte. Dieses Grün hatte nichts mit meiner gewünschten Farbe zu tun. Ein kräftiges Allerweltsgrün. Auf meine Reklamation hin wurde ein Foto gewünscht. Daraufhin wurde freundlich dreist behauptet, dieser Farbton wäre meine Bestellung, ich sollte diese Farbe verwenden. Wenn mir das Ergebnis nicht passen sollte bekäme ich eine Neue zugeschickt. Was dann gekommen wäre und welche Qualität diese Farbe dann hätte wollte ich nicht wissen. Ich habe den Siegel der Dose natürlich nicht geöffnet sondern sofort Widerspruch und Rückgabe gefordert, und zwar über das Kontaktformular dieser Internetseite. Allerdings wurde mein Widerspruch hierüber nicht bestätigt. Ich suchte in den AGBs und wurde auf Seite 10 fündig. Über eine spezielle Emailadresse für Retouren wurde dann tatsächlich der Widerspruch und Rückgabe bestätigt. Allerdings unter der Bedingung, dass ich noch ein Foto von der Ware und meiner Verpackung schicken müsste um Anspruch auf Rückerstattung zu haben. Nach Rücksendung wurde mir mein Geld zurücküberwiesen. Den Rückversand musste ich selber bezahlen.

Ich habe die Möbelfarbe „Graphit“ von Rust-Oleum verwendet, um zwei hochwertige Kommoden und ein Nachtkästchen zu streichen. Laut Hersteller soll die Farbe für Möbel, Türen und sogar Spielzeug geeignet sein. Die Realität sieht leider ganz anders aus.

Schon nach dem ersten Anstrich war der Untergrund noch deutlich sichtbar. Nach dem zweiten Anstrich war das Ergebnis ungleichmäßig, fleckig und mit Farbklumpen durchsetzt. Die größte Enttäuschung: Die Farbe ließ sich mit einem feuchten Tuch einfach wieder abwischen! Wie kann so etwas für Spielzeug geeignet sein?

Selbst nach langer Trocknungszeit war die Oberfläche extrem empfindlich. Einmal angefasst – Fingerabdrücke. Ein kleiner Stoß – die Farbe platzt ab oder zerkratzt sofort. Das hat mit Qualität absolut nichts zu tun.

Ich bin fassungslos, wie ein so minderwertiges Produkt als Möbel- oder gar Spielzeugfarbe verkauft werden kann. Für mich ist Rust-Oleum als Marke absolut nicht mehr vertrauenswürdig. Nie wieder.

Worst product ever. I shook it and it clogged only to never be used again. Don’t buy this product . I have used others and not been disappointed

I read other reviews before buying this product there were mixed reviews about the trigger this spray comes with. I bought the aged copper colour and I started spraying for about a minute. I left it and the next morning I lifted the can to start spraying again it went for about 20 seconds then the trigger wouldn't work. Nothing as I pulled the black trigger.
In the end had to cut the top of and put a normal wee spray top on it from another can. The colour also aged copper is not like the colour on top of the can it is more like a soft gold .I used the spray on numerous different surfaces as obviously the lighting and surface you are painting will give different results. It is definitely not the colour of the top of the can.
I am giving it 3 stars as it seems to be a good paint spray as in quality and durability. Pity about the silly trigger.

Installed Rustoleums Epoxy Shield yesterday. This is the 1st time I’ve used this product where it was packaged in tinfoil type bags. I mixed the product together. There were lumps of some of the product in the mixture. I will definitely look for a replacement epoxy garage floor coating.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this product! Was messy to use since it comes in a bag! Every time you had to open a new one paint got over hands Spent over one thousand dollars to cover two and half car garage! After a week floor is still tacky!

Rust-Oleum Weather Resistant Garden Paint 2.5L Colour: Anthracite.
I purchased the item in the anthracite colour, expecting a deep, dark grey as typically represented by that name. However, the item I received was a very pale, washed-out bluish grey that bore little resemblance to true anthracite. This was quite disappointing, as the colour did not match the description provided.
That said, the paint is very good quality and goes on smoothly and dries quickly, which was a positive aspect. However this defeats the purpose and makes the quality of the application irrelevant for my needs.

Bought a spary paint can from Menards to touch up porch swing. The can leaked half the bottle out onto the floor. The nozzle was defective. I bought the trigger type. I would not recommend spending the extra money thinking it would make the project go fast. The mess is ridiculous.

Doesn’t work. I put three coats on. Year if that long rust bleeds back through. Been painting for. 24 yrs. Don’t like it at all

I bought kitchen cupboard paint in Serenity to revamp my kitchen. I previously did my cupboards in a very expensive well known paint but Rust-Oleum has done a far better job, nicer coverage and used a lot less paint . I was really impressed

I have just ordered some Rustoleum furniture paint, after deliberating long enough whether to paint our wardrobe, I decided to take the plunge, I ordered a few samples and decided on our colour, I needed to do two coats which I expected but it dried really nice. I’m not sure how hard wearing it’ll be as does seem to chip easily, but so far it looks so much better and the fact no primer is needed is great. I would recommend this product but be mindful what your painting as to how wear resistant it will be. If it lasts us a few years I’ll be happy.

I have used this paint on all sorts of projects in the past and the coverage and quality of their paint is top notch! I recently thought I would order a 2.5l tin direct from the Rustoleum site in the UK.The experience was without a hitch and the free delivery was as stated the next working day. If you want a reliable chalk, furniture or shed paint I can recommend all 3 of these products and their pricing is highly competitive without any reduction in the quality of the paint.Basically if the coverage and the work ability wasn't thereand ease if cleaning your brushes out I simply would not use it.5 Star from me Rustoleum 😊

This paint is a total waste of money and time.
I payed £23 from b&q for a 750ml tin of rust oleum “direct to rust metal paint” in satin gentian blue, to paint my metal garden gate and single garage door.
This is by far the worse paint I have ever used, it dries so fast it takes the paint of material as you are brushing it and runs dry so quick you don’t get a chance to brush out, so making wastage, in fact dries so fast a skin was forming in paint can as I was using it, and temperature wasn’t hot, when you finished it is so patchy it is a joke, I gave 2 coats and still looks awful and now I ran out of paint which should easily have been enough. the paint is darker than what’s shown on tin, and I am very suspicious now of its claim to stop rust (time will tell). In my opinion this is a very poor quality and overpriced paint product and I will in future avoid at all costs to using again in future (even if it is given to me).

Useless. Ordered paint from them with next day delivery promised. Next day - "delivery delayed", following day "delivery delayed", now on 3rd day and "delivery delayed". Impossible to contact other than via email which they just ignore. Will never use them again. Would like to review the product...BUT IT STILL ISN'T HERE!

does not stop rust at all, paint only stays on about 6 months, what a disgrace, not worth buying over priced and very bad quiality

I bought Rustoleum, silk furniture paint from B&Q to repaint a chest of drawers.
This paint dries so quickly, it is unusable. I have used many, many kinds of paint before and this is absolutely the worst. If you try and smooth the edge with the paint you have applied 10 seconds ago, it sticks to the brush and comes up in nasty blobs. I had to sand down the whole chest of drawers (for the second time) and start with another brand of paint. I do not understand how Rust-Oleum manage to sell any of this product or how they dare have it on the market. I will certainly never buy anything of theirs again. Staggeringly bad product.

Paint wasn't as expected (colour, finish, quality)
Trying to return an unopened tin and the company are making it difficult for me to do so. I have had to send a picture of the unopened tin (which I have provided) and now they are asking to see the cardboard box it was delivered in and also a picture to show how I would pack it! It is ridiculous! I just want a refund

Paint finish does not resemble the name or cap colour, Chrome finish but actual a satin silver
