Island Vacations of Sanibel & Captiva Avis 

Wonderful experience. Island Vacations was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. We were very happy with our stay-it was a great value considering the prime location.

Words can't even begin to describe what type of service your company gives us!!! We come to Sanibel three times a year and EVERY time you out do yourselves!!! Every detail is taken care of before we even get on the island. We will also use island Vacation to find us the PERFECT PARADISE on Sanibel Island!!!

We really enjoyed our vacation. The house was great. Only small complaints: the dryer was full of items when we arrived; the vacuum cord was broken; window frames were very dusty and the recliner did not work. Nevertheless we would stay there again! Thank you.

We enjoyed the condo so much! It was clean, roomy and had everything we needed! Short walk to the beach and my kids loved it.

I received a call at 1:00p that our condo was ready for early check in if we were already in the area. I did not request early check in and was pleased with the pro active communication from the team.

We spent a week at the Pointe Santo condos. The unit was great and well equipped. The only thing that wasn't good was the internet connection, not sure if it was because they were in the process of switching providers, but we never did have an internet connection. We did have a leak in the bathroom (came from the unit upstairs), it happened after hours and when we called the office, the response was immediate and the problem was solved quickly. We had 2 adults and 4 children and we never felt cramped. Before we arrived, I had some questions regarding our unit and our stay and the staff at Island Vacations answered me right away. The one issue we had was with the condo parking-which really has nothing to do with Island Vacations. Each unit only has one designated spot for parking. Because of work schedules, we came down in 3 cars. We were able to get a guest pass for one of the cars, but there are only a few guest spots and the staff at Island Vacations told us if we got one of those, to basically park the car and leave it for the week (which we did). For our third car, Island Vacations allowed us to leave it parked in their parking lot, so that was really helpful. I would definitely recommend using Island Vacations to book future stays.

The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed.

The rental company made it a breeze to check in and pick up our keys. They also called to check on us to see if we needed anything. A good and convenient experience.

Perfect view, top floor, quite, and well equipped condo. Loved every minute of our stay. Temptrure in condo was just perfect. Plenty of extra sheets and bedding which was amazing. Definitely would stay at this little gem again.

I have nothing bad to say. This was the 1st time we used their sevice. I can say enough about how friendly and professional everone is.
Check was so easy.
The unit we were in was clean was supplied with everything you need. Except a broom, lol we could not fine one to save our lives.
We booked the same unit next year and cannot wait.

We arrived after hours and were pleased to find our keys and welcome packet waiting for us in your outside box. Everything was to our approval except for the fact that we had extremely limited towels - beach and bath when we first arrived - and how to access internet service was unclear. After an email to Island Vacations, freshly laundered towels were delivered the next morning, and we discovered some bath towels still in the unit's dryer.

Regarding the internet, all of the information in our welcome packet explained that internet was provided by the association and that it was not secure. We tried several times to access it and were unable to maintain a connection. That was when we discovered a small card on a side table that said the unit's owner had also provided internet if we weren't able to access the association's. Thankfully, we used the owner's account and were fine after that! (Some of us needed it to work.)

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The decor was fun and whimsical but the carpets definitely need to be replaced. A carpet upon entry, some hooks on the wall for storing purses and light clothing, and some more shoe storage by the front door would also have been welcomed.

This is the friendliest and most helpful rental company I have ever dealt with. They make you feel like you are part of the family back for another stay!

We really enjoyed our beach trip. We did love that the laundry facility was free. However the beach access was a little misunderstood when I booked I guess bc I was told it was directly across the road, which is not the case. You have to turn right and walk a good ways to get to the beach access that is allowed. And heaven forbid you go to the one that is closer or across the street bc the condo offices there are very rude if you use the beach access that we didn’t know wasn’t ours. Air conditioning wasn’t very cool at night at the setting that it was required to be on. The hot water went out and they were quick to fix it the next day.

The transaction process was simple and efficient. The property we rented was appropriately represented. Check-in and out were seamless. The unit was clean, beautifully updated and will most likely be the one we choose for our next visit.

I really appreciate the professional experience that you provided me in renting a vacation home two years in a row. I will continue to seek you out as my first option!
For people who think they can book directly with owners, stop here. Trust me, you need to have a third-party involvement when spending this kind of money for a vacation home rental. You are not paying anymore, and it will protect your investment.
