Island Vacations of Sanibel & Captiva Avis 

This was my ur second year with Island Vacations of Sanibel and Captivia. I would highly recommend using them for your vacation. They have always been responsive, friendly and very professional. Thank you for our great service and fantastic vacation! See you in 2023!!

Our rental at Logger Head Cay #183 was perfect!!! Beautiful condo with everything we needed and more! The pool and beach were steps away!!!! Island Vacations was so helpful from planning our trip, our stay, and checking out!

We had a great week in Clamshell A. On the beach and private. Loved the laid back feel of Sanibel. We didn’t really wait in a line the entire week! The bike trails and nature trails, as well as the abundance of wildlife IR really exceptional. Condo could use some cabinet updates, and get rid of the carpet in the master. Island vacation was excellent to work with. Overall, an awesome week. We will be back!

We have been booking with island vacations for many years. We have always been in C2 but it wasn’t available this year, the owner was supposed to move in permanently but didn’t. Beth was so apologetic but found us another unit B4, which was quite nice. It had a lot of beach toys, extra chairs, and fully stocked kitchen.
Beth was able to help us book our C2 for next year.
We have booked many years ago with a different rental agent but prefer how personable island vacations is and treat us very nicely. Wonderful company.

We really enjoyed unit 523! It had a nice view of the sand and sea. Saw beautiful sunset skies out the living room window and, I could open the front door to see the sunrise. The unit was well stocked with towels, linens and everything we needed in the kitchen. This was the first vacation unit that I didn’t have to clean the floor upon arrival! So nice to be able to walk around the unit comfortably with bare feet! Felt the master bed and twin in the second bedroom need to be replaced.

The IV team is always accommodating and willing to work with you. They always make the process easy.

We loved our stay with Island Vacations. The folks there are super friendly, and were extremely attentive to our needs. We've stayed with 3 different rental companies over the past 2+ decades of coming to Sanibel, and Island Vacations has been far and away the best. This was our second year staying with them, and we've already reserved our third. Top notch!

The service and staff were fantastic! Timely, detailed emails. Pleasant, friendly staff when we stopped by for check in and the condo was exactly as it was described. We will be booking through Island vacations again for sure!

Island Vacations was great to deal with! They provided us with an early check-in call and the check-in process was extremely efficient. They responded promptly to a request for a beach umbrella and followed up with a checkup call a couple of days later just to make sure we didn’t need anything else and that everything was satisfactory.
Our property, on the other hand, could use some updating. We stayed at the same house several years ago and the living room furniture and beach chairs could’ve used replacing then, but still haven’t been. The property was clean, but a few things like new bed spreads, caulking around bath tubs, additional hooks or towel bars in bathrooms, would really go a long way in upping the comfort of this property. The location is perfect and the beach and pool area are nice.

Everything was good, as usual. The company is very efficient and very professional.

We absolutely enjoyed the week at Compass Point. Our unit was amazing and we wished we could’ve stayed 2 weeks. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we started our initial enquiry way back in late 1919 in the hope of travelling in 2020 the staff at Island Vacations couldn’t have been more helpful.

We ended up having to cancel our trip twice because if the covid pandemic, eventually travelling in early June this year. Our deposit was carried over on the first cancellation, then we eventually had our deposit returned after we had to cancel a second time.

Any questions we emailed prior to arrival were answered very promptly and It was good to know we had booked with a local company who were always there on island for us if we needed anything. We also much prefer to support local businesses if possible.

We would have no hesitation is recommending Island Vacations to anyone thinking of booking a holiday on Sanibel or Captiva.

The place was great, the pool was located right outside our door. Place nicely decorated and beds very comfortable. The one complaint was the washer and dryer issue, the description of the place made it sound like it was included with the rental, but it was a paid coin op located in a room down the hall. This was disappointing, plus to be notify if we left to many towels dirty we would be charge extra. If we would have been inform of this before booking we would have pick a different one.

The condo was wonderful, everything the post said it would be, the pics were just as it showed, gorgeous! This area was so quite and peaceful, not many on beach nor in the pool, we absolutely loved it. I’ve been recommending it to everyone I speak with at home. Island Vacations were great to work with on booking. Definitely would go back to this condo!!!!

Their customer service is always top notch and their responses are always timely. We’ve been using their services for our vacation rental for at least 11 years straight. The staff is always courteous and super friendly.

The front desk employees were very polite. The view was amazing and the condo was very clean. A perfect spot for bay view. That all deserves 5 stars. Now for the bad. The condo has an ant problem in the kitchen and bathroom. There was no privacy in the living area because of all glass front with no blinds, shades, or curtains. This also led to the condo being quite warm during the heat of the day. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable. Our check out procedures were unclear on what to do with the keys. An email for check out procedures would have made things easier. We definitely enjoyed our stay but a few improvements would help the next guest.
