Savage Vines Avis 

Whilst the wines I have received are nice, I am disappointed by the customer service or lack there of.

There was some confusion over my subscription which doesn't appear in the account section of the website so preferences can't be amended. And my last delivery was over a week late.

Emails go unanswered and the overall experience is rather disappointing sadly. Whilst they claimed to have sent an email, it was never received. I am early on in my subscription so hopefully it will improve.

Terrible customer service. Tried to cancel an order but they refused even though the the delivery was not due for weeks. False promises to resolve the issue.

This is a wonderful service. I have been buying the wines for my Dad and he loves it.
Kyle is always quick to respond to any query and really knows his stuff.
During lockdown I was furloughed and sadly had to pause the subscription, it was easily set back up and two red wines are delivered each month.

Absolutely love being a member of the wine club - one of the highlights of the month getting to see and try the new wines! Communication also always fantastic whenever I’ve had any queries at all. Couldn’t recommend more!

Excellent service and great-tasting selection of wine.

I ordered 3 bottles of Susana Balbo - Crios Torrontes.
Unfortunately the order went wrong by my mistake and they were almost send to one and the same adres....
So much thanks for Kyle ans his quick response!!!
The order was seperated within an hour and they simply send me a invoice for the remaining delivery fee.

I am on month four of my subscription, and am very happy with both the quality of the wines, the wonderful tasting notes and the delivery time. Kyle has excellent customer service skills, and has been able to keep up with various complications on my end such as changes in address and long periods away. Would absolutely recommend!

Great subscription service - the wines are excellent and varied, and I love what they are trying to do.

Having wanted to find a specific wine the owner helped me out, and updated me when it returned in to stock - can't fault the customer service, or the wines and wish them luck for the future!

Nice prices, however, the timing for the delivery was within 5 days- already a very slow delivery timing.Unfortunately, after 5 days, the order is still processing. I won't recommend

Great company - supports small, independent vineyars, great selection of wines, fantastic customer service. These are the kinds of comapnies we should be championing as consumers, 5/5 stars!

We are three months into our wine subscription and it has been great. We enjoy receiving the surprise package each month and the wines themselves have all been really lovely and far superior to the supermarket bottles we used to buy. The delivery is reliable and the customer service is good too. The quality of the wine makes this excellent value, particularly with the generous discount for additional bottles. We will most definitely be renewing the subscription when it runs out.

I found the wine subscription to be an excellent service - all delivered were on time with no issues. The quality of the wine has been superb and I have found this a great way to explore and try out new wines that I would not ordinarily select. Highly recommend the subscription service. Lisa

My wife bought me a subscription for my 50th birthday which I thought was lovely. 3 bottles per month. I am now 10 months in not had one bottle that was great. To be honest I have tasted and disposed of most of them. Tonight I opened a Grenache that was dismal. I use a different wine merchant usually and order reds of various types. I really wanted to like this and don’t usually leave a bad review but how can I be unlucky with 30 bottles? Great idea for a service though and delivery is good.

First off, the only thing that really matters here is that the wines Savage Vines finds are really excellent and off the beaten path. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about wines (lived near Napa for 7 years, have visited vineyards around the world on holidays, definitely not a sommelier) but there are lots of varietals and regions that I've been introduced to through Savage Vines in the first few months of my membership. They aren't a warehouse with everything under the sun. More like a carefully curated collection. So far it's been an impressive one!

There have been a few growing pains with their tech experience, which would knock one star off for me during normal times, but the pandemic crush in online shopping excuses some of these issues, and the determination of the small staff to get it right eventually has meant that I'm now happy to give them a full 5 stars. If you're looking for some new wine experiences, give 'em a try!

Excellent and communicative customer service, unbeatable price, brilliant quality, and speedy delivery. I ordered a box that had one bottle stuck at customs, so Kyle e-mailed immediately, amended my order, and was still able to get the box out on time. Faultless! Thanks so much Kyle, will definitely be back.

I like the wines but the admin is appalling and the boxes frequently don't turn up DPD is the carrier and they seem incapable of pressing a doorbell and Savage Vines can't seem to sort it out. I'd get your wines from elsewhere if I were you
