They went the extra mile for me!
I recently returned from Colombia South America where I had been for 8 months. In Colombia it’s much easier to buy contact lenses than in the USA. You just go to the store, tell them what you want and boom; in and out!

Anyway, one of my children and I needed contacts here in the USA and I ordered from buy lenses online.

After ordering I was forced to move from the rental property because the management company had a dispute with the HOA and they simply walked away and required all tenants to move at once; (they gave us TWO days to move).
Due to this situation I emailed buy lenses online and they moved quickly to get the address changes with UPS.
They also did another huge favor for us which I don’t have time to write about now. Bottom line they treated me according to “The Golden Rule”. I will remain a loyal lifelong customer and highly recommend this company for all your lens needs!

The checkout process stated 5–7…

The checkout process stated 5–7 business day delivery for standard lenses (no special prescription). After ordering, my lenses hadn’t even been processed, and I was told I’d need to pay extra to actually receive them within the promised timeframe.

Between the delayed processing and the noticeable price increase from last year, the experience felt misleading and frustrating.

I’d like to clarify how our timelines work, as there may have been some confusion regarding our free standard shipping. The 5–7 business day timeframe refers to delivery time after an order has shipped, not including processing. As noted on our Shipping Information page and checkout, all standard shipping orders have a 3–4 business day processing period, as they are fulfilled in the order received. This applies to all standard orders, including those without special prescriptions.

Express shipping is the only option that prioritizes orders for faster processing and shipment, which is why it carries an additional cost. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out at support@saveonlens.com.

GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Garbage product and customer service
Absolutely horrific customer service. Defective contact lenses which I believe our counterfeit

Received lenses, as I began using them I noticed two of blister containers were dried out. Which means the contacts were dry, cracked and defective.

Contacted the Save on Lens and Taylor Z. Offered me 5% on a future order. She said I cannot be offered a return, replacement or refund. The 5% is a joke. That doesn’t cover even one defective lens, or the shipping or even the tax. I informed her I will be filing public complaints on BBB, FTC, my credit card and also Trust Pilot.

Over 24 hours later she responds with a change of tone. Asking for a picture. Send her picture of the box and lot ID. She said she needs pictures of the blister packs. I disposed of them after her initial response refusing to help me in any reasonable manner. I told her I tossed them after her refusal and she then replies well then we can’t help you.

What a scam!!! They know damn well by responding that they won’t help, replace or refund people aren’t going to save these blister packs. Knowing this, they wait a good amount of time to then request pictures - knowing the probability of having them is slow and then relieves them of any obligation to help their customers.

Horrible company, doesn’t verify prescriptions either. They funnel through Canada but their office and shipping is right in Washington. Scammers, fraudulent company and shady business practices.

I have formal complaints with the FTC, as selling contact lenses in the manner they are is illegal. They cannot mask themselves under “Canada” when they’re in Ferndale Washington

Basically $63 in the trash.

Please note since your email was sent to us after our office hours, we have responded to you promptly the following morning. As stated in our emails, we had requested pictures of the defective lenses in order for the manufacturer to process your claim for a refund or replacement. Unfortunately, since the lenses have been discarded, there is nothing more we can do. It is standard practice to retain damaged products for proof with any company you purchase from. While you are free to express your dissatisfaction and slander us, please know that we have acted in accordance with standard procedures for handling defective products.

Very expensive, Outstanding reliability and service

I’ve been a SaveOnLens customer for over a decade. They are very expensive, have an ancient website design, and are rather slow in shipping, but are 100% reliable in the quality of their contact lenses, and provide first-rate customer service. I’ve shopped around looking for better prices without a prescription, but no competitor has proven anywhere near as trustworthy. They are the best I’ve ever found.
