Scenic Avis 

Overall luxury is not in doubt. Food, staff, cabin all excellent. However the reader will be surprised to learn that it is not an experience we would wish to repeat anytime soon. We travelled as a couple whilst many met up in groups and consequently it was quite noisy at times. There being only one lounge meant you couldn’t get away for some peace and quiet. Had it been summer we could have sat out but not so in September.

You cannot fault the trips once you are on the ship but the UK admin team are the worst I have ever had to deal with.

A really interesting and well planned cruise across 5 countries in 7 days! The usual amazing Scenic service with probably the best Cruise Director we’ve had. Highly recommended.

Very professional all round. Second cruise we’ve done on Jasper and never disappoint. Big shout out to all crew for an amazing holiday.

Scenic organisation and attention to detail could not be faulted. Wonderful Crew on board Scenic Spirit, very happy and friendly and Cruise directors / guides had considerable knowledge, and the tours we chose were excellent, varied and well planned. We liked that Scenic work with organisations to help young people learn skills. We experienced their hospitality and catering on some of our tours and the standard of the students was first class which also provided another insight into local life. Outstanding trip.

This is the second time we have sailed with Scenic. This time we sailed up the Danube from Budapest to Nuremberg (arr. there 2nd Oct) Yet another memorable trip with fantastic attention to detail. Excellent hosting, service, food and entertainment. Butler service was exemplary and the social atmosphere amongst passengers and crew was first class. Thank you Scenic and Alexander - our host.

The 3 cities we visited on this trip were excellent - Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest. The bits inbetween werent always good. We have travelled with Sceneic several times and still enjoy what they offer. That said it is noticeable that standards have slipped.

Everything was amazing and well organised on our Vietnam and Cambodia tour to include Halong Bay and Mekong River Cruises. Lots of great experiences. Top marks to our tour director Huy who gave full attention to every detail.
All staff we interacted with in hotels and on the cruises could not do enough for us.

We have been travelling with Scenic for 15 years, mainly on their European River Cruises, and Scenic Eclipse also in Europe.
We love the friendliness, politeness and helpfulness of all their staff from the Captains to managers, cleaners, waiting staff and office staff.
Nothing is too much trouble and although they may initially seem quite expensive everything is definitely included and they work out better value than other lines that have many add ons.
The excursions are varied and suit different abilities and interests. We have travelled the same routes and have never run out of excursion options, there are 3-4 every day or you can do your own thing or just simply wander ashore - there are also e-bikes available.
We are still booking their cruises and hope to travel with them for many years to come.

We have been on many Scenic River Cruises which have always been good. However, this year’s river cruise did not come up to usual standard of previous ones.

Scenic staff go out of their way to ensure you have the best holiday possible like providing a bottle of champagne and a cake for my birthday. And when a cycle race hampered the trip to the airport on our last day, Scenic sailed us downstream so we could use a different route.

An amazing trip to the Antarctic

It was our 10th cruise with Scenic so an informed review. I am lactose free, intolerant of red meat and caviar; it has been no problem on previous cruises but on this cruise it was very disappointing. Our Royal suite bathroom had seen better days - shower leaked profusely as door did not close properly and seal needed renewing, greyish rather than white towels, awful overpowering bleach smell after daily service, tops of products grubby.
Twice our early evening canapés were lacking as the person delivering them just smiled and said ‘no lactose free ones’ so two for the other passenger!
Good points are: immaculate, white bedding, on the whole amazing staff, nice trips and clean social and dining areas.
This is a 5 star cruise line but it really fell short this time.

Ultimate luxury and very friendly and diligent staff. Comfortable cabins and a pleasant environment on board.

We received top class service and would certainly go again with Scenic.
