Speedy and smooth claim
We'd only been with Scratch & Patch a few weeks when our spaniel badly injured herself. S&P were great - paid all her treatment quickly and efficiently and were an absolute pleasure to deal with at a stressful time. Would definitely recommend.

The claim process was simple throughout…
The claim process was simple throughout and very quickly processed. Scratch & Patch liaised direct with my vet and the claim was settled within a week. Despite a voluntary excess amount being more than anticipated, the whole process was first class. Very pleased to have insured our pet with this company.

I had to make a claim after my dog took…
I had to make a claim after my dog took very poorly and we couldn't find out why, she had to be sedated and had a ct scan and blood test and scratch and patch were quick to pay out and it was all straight forward, very good service.

Quick to deal with claims
Had a few claims in recents months regarding my dog , sadly he passed over to the rainbow bridge last month , all claims very dealt with quickly and on last claim they sent their condolences ,which was a lovely touch . Would recommend this company .

When taking out a policy online, it’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all information entered is accurate, as the quote is calculated using those details and reflects the true insurable risk.
It’s important to clarify that we don’t charge an administration fee for making changes to a policy. The £29 you’ve mentioned isn’t a fee, but the difference in premium that would have applied from the start had the correct gender been selected when generating the quote via MoneySuperMarket. In other words, it reflects what the original premium would have been based on the correct information at the time of purchase.

Excellent company
After our Frenchie ‘Dave’ was diagnosed with acute glaucoma he underwent treatments that failed which resulted in his eyes having to be removed. As devastating as this was for all of us it was certainly made easier with a seamless insurance claim dealt with quickly without any quibble. Can’t fault this company and would recommend 5*
