Been using this brand for a year. My gel lasts for a month and I only have to change it because it's grown out. Never chipped. Lots of pigment in colours. Always quick delivery. Due to price and size of bottle (7ml for colour) it's hard to make a home collection but it's definitely worth it. I also been successfully mixing colours for variety.

Just amazing. I ordered dip powders from a different company and just couldn’t get it to look right, took ages to buff down and just chipped after a day. This was really easy, much more forgiving than regular polish, smooth and shiny… just amazed I did it myself! Will never go to a salon again. Can’t speak to durability yet but will update review if it chips, if not, I’m over the moon. Ps: I wear sunscreen as recommended by dermatologists to protect from the UV lamp

I have been using semilac exclusively for about 2/3yrs now after switching from another ‘home’ gel brand. Semilac is far superior and I cannot recommend highly enough. I love the extensive range of gel colours and many of them don’t even need a second coat. I can easily get 3/4wks which is amazing. There are often really good offers on, speedy delivery and the customer service is excellent. If you are considering trying semilac, I would say what are you waiting for!!

I am not a pro, I like having my nails polished but I never go to a salon. It feels like a rip off.

I considered giving it a go for the first time with Semilac having tried a cheap version from a third party retailer, which was a fail - never again. So Semilac is now my go to !

I ordered the starter kit - I had an email from customer service what colours I wanted to opt for which I thought was very personal and loved that!

I then ordered few other bits and bobs and watched loads of tutorials how to actually do my nails properly.

I use only SEMILAC products

My primer , the base the gel and the top coat and the UV light

I previously tried without the primer which I recently ordered and the gel did not last as long and the recommended guide is that you use primer

It’s a form of nail bed degreaser and it helps the gel last longer

I swear by it - 15 days now and my colour hasn’t chipped or cracked !

Had a slight issue which I raised with customer service and I felt the service received was exceptional

If the gel isn’t lasting , then it’s through fault of my own where I didn’t use the correct technique
Event the curing process has got to be the right technique

Every gel has a particular curing time and strength of the light - make sure you follow that
I did read an article which said if the gel polish ain’t cured correctly and as per directions then this can lead to complications
