Amazon Delayed Refund and Demanded Unnecessary Form

I returned an item to Amazon, and despite it being received and tracked, they are withholding my refund for over 20 days and still on going a clear breach of UK Consumer Law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
They refused to process the refund unless I filled out an unnecessary “incident report,” which is not required by law getting the run around via agents saying i was getting it and even having proofs of said agents saying they would refund me nothing not Penney has been sent.

Beware of recovering Returns Postage Costs

In January, I returned the Gaming PC to the Amazon Fulfilment Warehouse in Indianapolis (this location was on the Shipping forms sent to me by Amazon, and verified with an Amazon Customer Services Agent). The only courier that I could find that would accept this package was UPS, and they charged me £364 which I paid before they collected it.
At the end of January. I contacted Amazon Customer Services and they told me that they would refund me the cost of the PC. They also told me that they would refund me for the cost of the shipment (£364) but that they would have to do it in 2 x £150 and 1 x £64 due to a limitation in their system.
On 03 February. My bank account received the refund for the PC and 1 x £150 and 1 x £64 leaving 1 x £150 outstanding.
Since then, I have made a numerous phone calls, sent a numerous emails to Customer Services and used their Chat Line. Each time the agent has been very helpful, confirms that I am due the £150 and tells me that they will escalate the release of the payment, but it never arrived in my bank.
It was only when I contacted the Twitter Amazon Support that the £150 finally arrived in my bank account in early May.

. I thought they had already gotten rid of drivers who can't read and write!!!!! But there's another one, in the address it's clearly written post code is the street but if you can't read and write how can you understand GPS!

When i order from Amazon

When i order from Amazon, I dont want that order to be fulfilled by Royal Mail. The reason I use Amazon is cause they deliver when they say, Royal mail don't!

Amazon need to say upfront if your order is not fulfilled by them.
Not after the fact!

Delivery is getting worse

The delivery service from amazon is absolutely rubbish today I was waiting for 4 items to be delivered they were dispatched and due to be delivered today 17/04/25 when you contact customer service all they say is if you don't receive orders by 21/04/25 then contact us again, They can't even give you a proper reason why there's a delay this has happened several times when items have been dispatched but not been even out for delivery on they day they suppose to delivered, why am I paying Prime for this shoddy service. 😡

Customer service could be done by AI all I get is same script and they still have €1100 of my money and still do not have the product I ordered

If I could leave no stars here I would. I have ordered this now three times. First time I paid €172.88 and received not a solar panel but a dell charger! Spoke to CS told me return for refund and they would honour my original price paid for the same unit that has now went up to €774.96, but that they would refund me the difference when the panel arrived, so hence had to call cs back again ! My delivery date came and what arrived?? Another dell charger for €774.96 !! Spoke to cs again apology and same script return for full refund and we will ensure if you trust us here at Amazon again that we will make sure you get the solar panel ordered at the price you originally paid. Some sucker here you might say !! I ordered a third time delivery came today and what do I have ??? Another dell charger. Spoke to Cs again apology and same script yet again return for refund. I am here now at 6pm waiting since 2pm for a follow up call from the first item ordered on the 4th of April and it’s now the 15th of April and the first two dell chargers have been in amazons warehouse for the last 4 days as I had them tracked and I still have no refund still have no solar panel and am out of pocket over €1100 between the 3 transactions. Not any help from anyone that can actually assist to resolve this issue no way to contact anyone on Amazon that is of a level high enough to resolve it either nor will cs give me there contact details or name. Nor have they ensured from my first order that problem in the warehouse or supplier warehouse has been resolved like I was assured it would be and hence why I ordered a 2nd and a 3rd. It seems like 0 of the promised changes and communications with the warehouse had taken place nor was it checked that the 2nd or 3rd delivery were in fact a solar panel and not a dell charger. My lord the size difference alone should make a picker in the warehouse aware it was not a solar panel. This is absolutely unacceptable unfair and totally against the law in this day and age. Steer well clear of Amazon at all costs. I will be taking legal action once I can eventually track down someone in Amazon.

I wouldn't give Amazon a single star if…

I wouldn't give Amazon a single star if it were possible. This issue has been going on for over two years, as the items I order quite often never reach me. At the same time, I receive confirmations from Amazon stating that the package has been delivered to the resident. The couriers lie, and Amazon enables this kind of behavior. Dishonourable company that couldn't care less about its customers.

I have provided them with detailed instructions on how to find my residence, sent them coordinates from Google Maps, filed countless complaints, and yet the result remains the same—today, I received yet another email with false information claiming that my package was handed to me.
And when I contact Amazon customer service, all I get are more promises that an investigation will be initiated and that this won't happen again. Shameful attitude and a completely unreliable company.

Items delivered/ Dumped in Grave Yard customer service bury there heads

Paid for Amazon Prime get lots of Items Delivered and as Im hard of hearing mostof the drivers knock and if no answer, they have my number to Call

Today 27/01/2025 I was expecting electrical equipment.
I was out when the delivery email came claiming delivery when I checked it showed the parcel/ package thrown in a grave yard which must have been during the storm we were having. The parcel is lost and if found the equipment/ contence will be un useable
rang customer suport waiting for refund and expected to order again
Spent over £300 pound yesterday and they would not replace the undelivered/lost items

Yet another disappointing Amazon delivery

Another, delivery left out in the rain when I was at home. Electrical goods too. The driver simply, couldn't be bothered, to ring the doorbell. Just left the parcel, on top of the bin, in plain sight of anybody, walking past and drove off.

What a complete shower

What a complete shower! Ordered an item, paid for it and told delivery on 15/12/24. Item not received email said, item will be delivered on 16/12/24. It's now 2215 and still no sign of my order of my money and no ability to talk to a human at Amazon. Their customer service is absolute rubbish, it's like they're running away all the time. Guess what Amazon, once you've returned my money, you will have lost a customer of ten years standing. Well done!

Amazon are just the worst company

This must be the umpteenth time I have had issues with Amazon UK. After complaining a few months ago about parcels being left on my doorstep on a busy main road, it has happened again, after assurances that it wouldn’t.

This time I was in, the delivery guy rang the bell, left the package on my front door and scarpered. My husband actually went after him and told him that he had ignored where to put the package if we were not in, which clearly we were! He just said he didn’t have time….. Amazon, why the hell put delivery preferences if your drivers don’t abide by them. I have clearly put mine.

I have reported this to your Managing Director with photos. If it had caused theft from my property or burglary to my house I would take action to sue you.

I have cancelled all memberships with Amazon and I would recommend people to think twice before using Amazon. They might be cheaper but there are risks involved with their delivery service.

Quite simply ordered a part from…

Quite simply ordered a part from amazon, used my credit card, to my address using my name, amazon are claiming I used a different account, don't have any other accounts, coincidently the offer I ordered no longer exists and surprise surprise part didnt arrive. Quite simply amazon said unless I know what account ordered it I cant access any info, now got to speak to my bank, vile customer services

1.I can tell you exactly what I ordered
2. what time I ordered it
3 What address it was ordered to
4. credit card details used
5. Day I expected it to arrive
6. Exact cost of what was ordered

Amazon say your account didn't order it, so we cant do anything incredible

Amazon change the delivery date from 9 Dec'24 to 31 Dec'24

Ordered a 5 L engine oil which should arrive tomorrow Monday 9 Dec'24. But today morning Sunday 8 Dec ... amazon changed the delivery date in 31 Dec'24 😳😱🤦🤕. But this did not stopped here ... on evening they changed again the delivery date to 16 Jan'25 😳😳😳🤦🤕. So ... i cancelled the order. Well ... amazon staff ... what is going on with you guys ?!!! 😕🤔

They show a packet as delivered to the front porch but did not knock or notify me even though I was home at the time.
No photographic proof of delivery.
The packet is missing and probably stolen.
Their call centre is useless.

Disappointing Company

Why is Amazon increasingly flogging products with delivery dates that they or their couriers cannot meet? They are becoming an unethical company in my opinion, whose actions are also damaging the reputation of other sellers. An investigation by Trading Standards would be warranted in my view.

Parcel Left in Safe Place But Never Informed

I had ordered directly from Julian Charles, when it was dispatched I received an Amazon Shipping email informing me that they were delivering this. Was due to be delivered Friday 15th November, I discovered they had delivered the day before (I was at work all day, was 2 hours after I got home that I realised they had delivered on 14th November). No calling card was placed through my letterbox, received no email confirming delivery was due today either. Could have been left outside all night and stolen had I not realised. Disgusts me.

No customer service.

My order was damaged on delivery and the courier returned them. I was told I would be refunded. I don't want a refund, I want the items delivered in one piece. Because it was a part order I got free delivery, if I re-order it I don't. Amazon is not contactable from the website. No phone number, no email address and not even a bot. How can you claim to help when you hide behind the firewall?
