I never signed up for this service
I never signed up for this service, never heard of this service and I don't like the idea that they charge my account without my full permission.
They did agree to pay back the last 4 months but not the full amount. The agent was very good and promptly took care of my issue. So I went from one star to two, because the company needs to be clear when they are signing you up for a monthly service.

Hidden: subscription monthly fee
. . . Nowhere in the get-money-back social-media ad do they mention there's a monthly charge. Since I don't shop often, it's likely I'd have no benefit. I'm glad I read the reviews to find out the concealed truth, before subscribing.

You don't credit for your purchases most of the time
When it works it's great. But most of the time I click on the link and place my orders and they don't show up. So then I submit my claim as missing and still nothing happens. If service doesn't improve I will be cancelling my membership.

Great site, just give it a chance.
I think this site is often misunderstood. They idea that you pay for access to a cash back portal seems wrong -- except the cash back rates in this portal are unmatched anywhere. If the $ each month keeps the portal going I'm all for it! Especially during the holidays every little bit helps, and ShopSmarter has already paid me over $100 for my holiday shopping!

I got some great discounts on products that were more expensive. It is not much of a help for cheaper products since you can get discounts through other apps.

Membership for a Discount.
ShopSmarter has you sign up for a monthly membership to receive a $10 money-back discount. The issue is they don't send the $10 till right before the 2nd month. I didn't want the membership in the first place; I wanted the discount. So instead, I end up paying 2 months at $16/m to receive $10 back. Good job at dooping people.
