I returned a box of clothes worth $536...The company said they never received it and after a inquiry by my bank they sent the bank a letter saying I authorized the delivery and they never got the clothes I sent back...The bank reversed my credit and now I am $536 in the hole and no clothes to show for it...If you are returning clothes be sure to take a picture of the package or you may end up like me

Short story has been such an amazing service! I'm a middle school teacher and I have such a hard time finding clothes that look professional and fit my body type at the same time. Short story makes that possible. Each month I receive quality clothing that I can keep or send back, and the stylists make sure to take in my feedback so each box fits my style. Customer service is always on point, too! I've never really had an issue, but anytime I've needed to get in contact with customer service, they've been wonderful! Quick to reply and genuinely happy to help. 5 stars!

I absolutely love this petite clothing subscription service. As someone with very specific measurements, it's always been a challenge to find pieces that truly fit well-but this company gets it right! The stylist clearly pays close attention to the questionnaire, because the items I receive fit my frame perfectly without the usual alterations petites often need.
This company feels tailored in every sense of the word-both figuratively and literally-and I excitedly look forward to every delivery. I highly recommend shopping at Short Story-they just get it right.

As a full time employee and a Mom of 3, I am so busy and don’t have time to shop for me! Let alone being short and curvy makes shopping for my body extremely challenging. I was apprehensive about signing up for these stylist box subscriptions, but I am so glad I did! I was assigned a lovely stylist who based my clothing choices off my profile preferences and past photos containing outfits I’ve worn before and she hit it out of the ball park! I’ve only done this 2 months now, but each box is so carefully selected with honestly some of the best quality clothing I’ve touched, for a good price and made for me! I no longer have to hem every piece of clothing I buy or pay the seamstress extra to refit articles of clothing that just don’t fit me right…. It’s so nice tbh, to just enjoy and wear as is. Also great options for work clothes that can also be worn after hours! I truly love it!

Dont buy from a company who exploits remote workers as 1099's.

I got my first short story box and omg, how amazing! As a petite, plus size woman, it's nearly impossible to find clothing that fits me right, and well. The clothes in my first box were adorable, fit perfectly, and were comfortable. I had an issue with one item listed not actually being in my box, so I emailed the company and let them know. It took a couple of days for a response, but they did respond, and let me know they'd be sure I wasnt charged for the item I did not receive. I can't wait to get my next box, bc after my first one, I feel so much better in my body now that I've found clothes that actually fit me. Right now, they only go up to a size 20, so it'd be great if they could be even more size inclusive in the future so that more women like me can feel good in their clothes.

Truly wonderful care support. I received exemplary customer service today with a package that potentially would have been lost because the website didn't update my address in time prior to shipment. I contacted customer service and received an email response immediately that it was handled and already rerouted to my correct address. I am so humbled by the care this company provided me, prior to even trying out their product. I felt as though they cared about me as a customer and my experience. As a petite woman it's hard to find fashion that fits but this support is exactly what I am looking for to be a repeat customer.

I love short story because I never have to hem pants again. They send the cutest styles that I may never consider for myself. The return process is so easy. Items get picked up at my house. Customer service is amazing. Any issue, they get back quickly. I recommend this company to all my short friends!!!

I hope that all boxes going forward are just as good as the first. I really wanted all pieces but couldn't afford it. They were really nearly 100 percent perfect. I changed to 2-3 week deliveries because I need clothes and love the service. Thank you so much for catering to us shorties.
