I've been with Silux for nearly 2 years…

I've been with Silux for nearly 2 years now, and I've had nothing but exceptional service from them. Their price for the contract and loan of the router is superb. Most of the time I've been with them, the speeds have been brilliant. The odd couple of times it dropped speed, was simply to do with three upgrading the 5g masts where I live, but after contacting Silux, they were the ones who told me about this, and also done a SIM reset. Even when I've had difficulty with my camera's dropping out, they helped me to resolve this by offering a numerous amount of solutions I could try. Very in depth, and helpful they all are. It's the main reason that I've decided to continue being a Silux customer after my contract ends. I honestly can't praise them highly enough!

Avoid them

Avoid them. I raised a return. I returned the item and they don’t reply to my emails now. I have been asking for more than two weeks now for my refund but they completely ignored me.

Billing system needs improvement

They text you with very short notice each month asking for payment. You then have to manually login and make payment. Really could do with being automatic.

The most recent instance I was text at 4pm on a day, requesting payment by 9am the next morning. I made payment just before 10pm but they've since terminated my service and my number is now lost.

The notices are sent out 24 hours before the sim terminates.

We previously did send notices out 7 days prior and customers complained they forgot about the renewal to top up.
Therefore we changed it to 24 hours.

We have offered to send you a replacement sim overnight which you declined.
Thank you for your business over the past few months, and we wish you well with your choice of provider.

I am using premium package for a while…

I am using premium package for a while now and been great, super speeds , highly recommend, customer service has been excellent 4. I got the lite package found it was a little slow, they offered upgrade to premium at no upgrade fees, now it’s going well, happy , friendly and superb service.

Got my new unlimited sim, cheapest I could find an all working great, very happy , extending my 3 month contract to 24 months with them.

I returned being a customer on many questions being asked. I was told new stock would be available in September this year. I did take on board it was probably be the same stock but after using 5g routers from Amazon your service was probably the best speeds. On this second experience the router speed was quite good and it was the apps not loading on my devices. You mentioned on emails I opted for cancellation. This was because it was a Saturday and your business was closed till the following Monday. I contacted ZTE and they advised a reset. My initial review was a bit to harsh

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your recent experience, and we appreciate the chance to clarify a few points for accuracy.

This was your second order with us, and before you confirmed the contract our team explained that the router model would be the same as the one supplied during your previous order. You confirmed you were happy to proceed. All hardware we provide is fully tested, under warranty, and remains company property for the duration of the contract.

You notified us that you had opened the device and removed the warranty seal. As the equipment has not yet been returned to us, we cannot comment further until our technical team is able to inspect it.

Regarding the weekend messages, the only communication received was a request to cancel your service. This was forwarded to our back-office team, as per our standard process. No technical support request was made, and our support team was available as normal.

For clarity to future customers, the issues you experienced occurred after the device warranty seal had been removed and the device was tampered with. As advised, we will review everything once the router is returned so we can assess the situation properly.

We also note that during your first order you shared a positive 5-star review, which reflected your satisfaction with the service and speeds at that time.

We’re always happy to resolve any genuine concerns, and we encourage you to continue the conversation directly with our team.

Excellent value

Excellent value, with unlimited data, calls, and texts within the UK. I've never experienced any issues and believe I'll continue to use them despite any advertisements for sales.

Great communication

Great communication, was not all perfect in the beginning, my first internet box did not work well but their customer service was excellent, it got replaced quickly and with no delay. Thank you Silux.

No support

Registered and ordered a 7 day free trial SIM. SIM arrived and activated, recognised in the router as active but no data connection. Called Silux mobile and told to put SIM in phone. Put SIM in phone and same situation. Phoned back and told they will reactivate and try again in one hour, and if no resolve then they can't help me further. Waited 2 hours, still the same. Reset settings on phone and restarted and still the same. No point in calling back as they said they can't help any further. Tested both 4g router and phone with Tesco SIM and both work fine, just not with the Silux SIM. Account deleted due to lack of support.

This company gets it bang on with their 4g deals

Fantastic result to obtain 4g Internet connection streaming films on tv including through amazon firestick in my static caravan (with external antenna). Used wayco router with removable antenna and free 7 day unlimited data sim which I will be upgrading to 3 monthly deal. Many thanks siluxmobile. Well done. AlanR

We use it 2 years

We use it 2 years, so far. Was skeptic, as never heard of them before, but all is stable and without issues. No other company can beat their low prices, too

Extremely rude service. AVOID!

Extremely rude customer service.
Never met so much of a sorry bunch then have the cheek to state that I was the one who is vile.
Best advice to anyone is. Pay that bit extra and avoid these idiots at all costs.
Nothing they can say will ever change the fact of what they are.
Nothing pro about these. Just a bunch of cons!

He is not a customer of ours but we suspect we know who he is, as launched a tirade of abuse with the most vulgar language on our female staff. Reducing our female support agent to tears, and forcing her to take a break. We have records of this abuse and have already reported it to Google and Trustpilot for removal. He attempted to get multiple free SIM cards and abuse our system. All of this has been reported to the relevant authorities with all the evidence.
