Simpled customer service was a breeze…

Simpled customer service was a breeze to deal with. In particular, I was pleasantly surprised with the response from Natalie who supported me on my refund answering emails as early as 6:30 am - well outside the stated office hours. I wish all customer service officers could be like Natalie.

Versatile product let down by poor reliability

Have owned and operated a Simpled slimline smart lock for 20 months. Have found the functions it offers to meet our needs better than the key lock it replaced. In the time we have owned it it has failed twice. on both occasions either the front or rear part of the lock had to be replaced. Simpled sent replacements under warranty promptly and with minimal fuss. The guarantee expires in July 2025. In view of the reliability issues if it fails again after this date it is unlikely we will replace with another Simpled lock.

Needed a new Front Face for SF Smart Lock

Purchased the SF Smart Lock and I needed to replace the front face.

Emailed Simpled who very helpful and arranged for a front face to be delivered.

SF lock, Offset Spindle.

Had to modify the fit to infill the original cylinder hole, and fit lock with a self tapper, (couldn't drill through the original lock without destroying it!) Because of the offset spindle, Might be a bit difficult to fit unless you are an experienced DIYer! That said the lock worked well and without drama. Apart from my wifes fingerprint not working! (A problem she has with her phone as well!)

Quick and simple install and works as it should!

I purchased the Simpled SF-SPS after banging my head against a brick wall with the Yale Conexis L2.

I installed it in less than 1hr, I just had to drill a bigger hole for the cable to pass through and hey presto. It was in. The app just works, fobs, codes and finger printer reader works.

I can’t convey how much of a different experience it has been to the totally useless Yale equivalent.

Well recommended.

Very good Product

Fantastic lock for security and convenience.

I installed a Simpled lock on the front door of my house around 18 months ago. I work long days and shift work, and rent a room to AirBnB guests who often turn up when i'm at work. I used to use a key safe but lost the code once and discovered it was surprisingly easy to break into. If i can do that then so could a burgler. I feel much safer having the Simpled lock. It's really convenient for guests and I can set precise times between which the lock will allow access to guests as well as giving permanent codes to friends and family. I can also access it using my finger print, my phone, key fob and it also has a master key which is very reassuring.
The team at Simpled are very responsive to questions and supportive with installation queries. I installed the lock myself which required a bit of drilling and some DIY confidence but no special skills.
Recently the batteries in the lock were requiring frequent replacement. I contacted Simpled and they sent a replacement lock very quickly.
I am extremely happy to have this lock and would install it again in any new property for both security and convenience.

Simpled EF Weatherproof SlimSeries…

Simpled EF Weatherproof SlimSeries Smart Lock Touch is well made, and support and instructions are excellent. There are also a few useful videos on features and ftting. We are very pleased with the lock. The only issue was with the disable lock feature which is a digital action with a slider switch, we found on occasion this would engage after we left the property, therefore we don't use this feature. Battery life is excellent, we have had the lock fitted for six months and we have over 50% battery life remaining.

All unlock features are reliable, and consistent. The app is well featured. The lock looks impressive and robust once installed.

We have not added the bridge, for remote control and what effect it may have on battery life and features.

Cheap crappy gateways.

I can only imagine that people leaving reviews do not use the gateway. The gateway is absolutely useless. I live in a small house and it cant pick up both locks. I put the gateway next to my front door lock and it shows inner front door lock signal strong, outdoor front door lock signal weak. Simpled will just claim that something is blocking the signal. There is just their lock in between the lock and the gateway. How crap is this gateway, I have a smart home and have hubs and gateways in the far corner of my house upstairs that have no issues connecting with the opposite end of the house downstairs. I tried buying an extra gateway so I could have one by the back door and one by the front door. Still showing as weak signal. I bought a g3 gateway to hook up directly through the router, still weak intermittent signal. Conclusion is that these gateways do not work. Yes it is only for remote locking and unlocking or connecting with my smart home and you can use them without this, but this is what i bought them for and they are cheap rubbish. The fingerprints don't work when it's raining, so make sure to put a unlock code in or keep the keys near by in case of emergency. I'm binning these and buying something better.

Hello Annie,
I am so sorry to hear you are having difficulties connecting to your locks using the wifi bridge. It is the connection between the lock and the bridge itself that has the potential to cause problems. Based on feedback we recommend that the bridge is located within 5m direct line of sight of the smart lock, so with no obstructions of any kind.

You report that you have superior connectivity with other device bridge combinations in other parts of your house. This could possibly be because those devices have wired power which allows a higher bluetooth power level, or other location specific factors. Our locks are battery powered which means that to preserve battery life they have a lighter bluetooth power level and so require closer proximity and lack of obstructions between the bridge and the lock than some device types. Many hundreds of customers are successfully using our locks in combination with our wifi bridge.

Unrivalled customer service …

We use a Simpled cylinder lock at our village hall. Our circumstances made it a more complicated transition than it would have been had we had modern locks. The team at Simpled have been fantastic, always there to help us when we don’t know what we are doing, brilliant advice, helped us in so many ways with our quirky set up. Always happy and personable. Sadly our lock went wrong after six months but organising a replacement couldn’t have been easier. Fabulous customer service.

The slim smart lock is incredible

The slim smart lock is incredible! Has everything I need to minimise the risk of being locked out like I have done several times! I had to call the customer service line a couple of times during installation and Steve was so friendly and extremely helpful. Amazing service!

Simpled Smart Lock - brilliant product and support

I bought a Simpled smart lock for a very elderly relative and installed it myself. It is a very high quality piece of kit and I was impressed from the outset (including by its excellent packaging!). Installation was much as the instructions said but I benefitted both from watching a YouTube video in advance and through the brilliant telephone support I had when I needed some guidance. The options for the lock are extensive and it does everything we wanted, and more. I don't impress easily but I am super-impressed both by the product and the company who supply it.

We used to have a Yale digital lock…

We used to have a Yale digital lock which had to go as we got a new door, and that needed the more high tech Yale system. However we had issues with that and finally went with this product. We’ve had it for a few weeks now and so far so good and we’re all happy. Once you’re used to not having to take a key with you when you leave the house you have to have a digital lock and this one is fantastic.

I recently purchased a Simpled SF Lock, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The lock works brilliantly—smooth, reliable, and exactly what I needed.

This lock has been a game changer for…

This lock has been a game changer for us. We have fitted on our back door which everyone else goes out and leaves unlocked and I like having locked at all times.
When buying i hadn't realised our door is a bit thicker, I telephoned simpled and spoke to Steve who gave great advise and an sent us an extender kit.
The fitting was fairly easy my husband and son fitted in less than and hour, they had to make 1 extra drill hole for the power cable.
The lock works great, the door is always locked. The fingerprint works well, I had to redo mine tho. I have found the passage mode good (on the app).
The app works well and I definitely will buy the bridge so I can control the lock from a distance.
I love it and will definitely recommend, i am planning to buy a lock for another door.

A real help for Alzheimers-suffering relative

I reached out to check the lock would fit my door and got a same day response. Duly ordered the lock, briefed the locksmith using the online materials so fitting went smoothly. Bought the lock for my relative who has dementia and was forgetting where he left his key and forgetting to lock up at night. No more need for key safe, family/carers can get in and we can monitor when and who accessed the property in what way. The 2 fobs and the smart sticker were welcome additions and confer additional options. The fingerprint sensor is not 100% all of the time but has always worked within 3 presses (as long as you don't touch the number pad first)- still much faster than rummaging for a key in the rain! I'd say the fingerprint scanner works 19/20 times first time based on our first month's experience. I love the fact the batteries are easy to change and there's a physical key to enable access from the outside should the power fail. A UK based company with great responsive customer service via email. I would very much recommend them as a company and their product- just wish we had got one sooner.

Great lock full of very useful…

Great lock full of very useful features. Very quick and easy to install. I had a temperamental issue with the fingerprint reader after about 14 months. Simpled sent me a replacement without hesitation. Thank you Sara and everyone at Simpled!

Disappeared after getting money

Can’t trust any reviews below, it may be fraud.
Ordered online on 2nd of Jan based on customer service recommendations. Since then no order update, obviously nothing has been ever shipped or delivered, no replies to any of my emails despite of escalations - so full ignore after receiving the money.

Hello Maria, we are so sorry to hear about this problem which has caused so much inconvenience.
We have investigated, and can now see that two separate issues contributed to your your item not being delivered.
You had ordered a bag of extra long screws and a spindle to help fit our lock to your door which is larger that the standard maximum thickness.
The item was despatched from our partner warehouse, but later rejected by Irish Customs due to an issue with the documentation. It was then returned to the UK, but we were not alerted of this by the warehouse.
When you then tried to follow up the delay by email that email was not seen by us as there was an unreported issue with that address.
We are really sorry about this confusion within our system which affected you so badly.

We will now have a replacement product sent into our administrative office, and send it to you from there so we can clearly track it all the way to your house.
