Just very disappointed with the new rep. Showed up twice, 3 months ago, I did not need a new snap-on tool box at that time. I have already 1&1/2 Taco wagons, with top boxes already. Blew me off the past 2-1/2 months. Wanted to update some tools and warranty 2 extensions. Sucks when you have to purchase replacements from another tool dealer that has integrity. MATCO! - EVERY WEEK THERE HERE.
Snap-On Tools are great, but the driver must be good also.
Love these tools, I have one of the best tool truck drivers in Rick Lute, I do understand that the experience with any tool truck is largely based on how good the driver is. Snap-On's goal is to make a better product & from everything I've seen they follow through on that goal more than any other company.

Worst customer service I ever seen
Worst customer service I ever seen. Had two representatives they just want to sell you tools with life time warranty. But after sale. They just avoid you with any costs. Got broken tools message one of them. He never came to swap them wasted my time for one year. Keep promising me he will come and always have some excuses. Tried one more rep. He made other excuses. Just waste of time. Now use Mac tools same quality but after sales much better.they care about them customers.

Been buying snap on tools for 40 years and yes they do break lve had them repaired with no quibble, l work across the UK, my last purchase was 4 years ago,
A new rachet screwdriver and what crap it is, its been repaired twice each time they replaced the guts, now its gone again yesterday l approached a snap on van yesterday they refused to repair this screwdriver as l didn't have a receipt for it,l phoned head office uk waste of time pass the buck very disappointed never had this problem from day one

Genuinely the worst company to deal with. Not only are the tools of subpar quality now, if your in the northeast of Scotland you will never get any of your tools fixed I have spent thousands and thousands with this company and have chased up the dealer I started using instead of the previous one that wanted me to drive 40 miles to get anything repaired and still have no sockets broken ratchets you name it! Contacted snap on and they seem to think it’s fine I have been offered an alternative. Seen a snap on guy once in the last 4/5 years absolutely pathetic payment taken every month but no service actually provided. Don’t waste your time or money buy Milwaukee tools save yourself the hassle
Snap-Off
Just came here to say my peace and move on. I have a bunch of tools from snap-on because I used to be a motor mechanic. I'm now a fabrication engineer and no longer fall victim to the truck and it's contents. My eye's have been opened to other tool brands with much better customer service, often better quality and certainly more reasonably priced.
Who has receipts from a decade ago? I can't remember the date of purchase? What do you mean you can't replace one screwdriver for me after all the money I spent on your tools? I'm unable to get in contact with the dealer and the warranty process is deliberately convoluted. It's the only warranty claim I've attempted with you guys.
The entire company is an elaborate con in my opinion. Yes some of their tools are decent but it's not worth the money they ask. The bluepoint stuff is actual garbage yet still more expensive than premium brands. Most importantly the buisness model and the customer service is terrible. I hope the Snap-On reputation continues to go down the drain.
I will never buy a Snap-On tool again, I'm actually replacing all my Snap-on stuff with better brands because every time I see the logo I feel this deep sense of betrayal. It's as if I was molested by those Snap-On vans all those years ago and I'm finally starting to process the truama. Bye bye Snap-On. I will make sure anyone who trusts my opinion going forward knows to stay away from you.

motorcycle scanner tool about $5k with no OBD cables which cost from $150 to $450 each cable ( its a robbery made on ppl they trust in your brand)
mister Jack Raynolds owner of a snap on track stop by and sold to me a snap on scanner ensuring that was the best i could have and i trusted on theyr words...well this useless scanner doea NOT WORKS ON DUCATI, TRIUMPH, APRILIA AND MORE now i dont remember all...
plus i spent $400 for HD cable and no matter what the device wont connetc on the motorcycle ECU so they gave me a technician phone number mr Rayan which was NOT ABLE TO CONNECT either.
well since i do work on those brands easily i can say i dont need the tool.
all happened in about 1 month since i had to wait for they business time.
well i called mr JAck back telling the situation and asking for a return of the device,
sure no problem he said, but problem are came right the way since the honesty is not in the air!!
i spent almost $2k in cables and deposit to buy this useless tool..

Snap on tools are the most over priced garbage tools you’ll ever buy there electric tools are the worst garbage batteries and tool and you only get 1yr warranty that’s bulls**t I switched to Milwaukee more power better looking and cheaper plus you get a 5 yr warranty never been happier I suggest you do the same and as far as there sockets they are s**t alway cracking I bought a set of harbor freight sockets to compare and they out performed snap on s**t sockets so don’t buy them either there torque and Allen sockets are junk as well always snapping off and rounding off or coming out of the holder so a long story short don’t buy snap on tools they are overpriced s**t junk tools and you’ll just end up beating your head into a wall saying why! Took my broken BLUEPOINT 1/2 drive air impact gun to the local sales van to see if he could have it repaired for me he took one look at my machine and said take it away it's to old and we don't do parts for that model anymore to which I replied to the rep what happened to the lifetime guarantee he replied its too old but I can sell you a new one,well not a chance I will never buy another snap on tool as long as i live they are only interested in money they can make out of people .hello Milwaukee

We used this company for 8 years and were great supporters.Our mechanics were too.
They lost their franchisee in our area and we have not had service from them for over two months.Four scan tools were purchased over the years together with many thousands of dollars of tools.
They company motto is not to let their field managers or their middle managers take calls. The buck stops at customer service. I left 4 messages for ADRIAN or WILL to call and to date no response and no call back. WILL will not call back....excuse the pun.
Their motto is not to let the neighboring franchisee service our area whist they have a new franchisee. In this case the neighboring franchisee is an employee of Snap on and they prevent him from servicing us. No bending of rules to service their loyal customers. However, they will allow us to travel to the neighboring suburb and purchase from the same franchisee that they prevent to come over to service us............HOW BIZZARE.
YOU HAVE LOST US AS A CLINET.
GO TO MILWAKEE AS THEY HAVE GOOD TOOLS ALSO.

I sent Snap on, UK? an email and await a response to my broken tool that is 30 years old with a lifetime guarantee.
The last time I'm tried to claim they refused my claim.
It was worn out. The new terms and conditions of Snap on Tools state lots of conditions.
I paid 3 times the cost of a normal tools for lifetime guarantee and when I need this to happen I expect it to happen.
I am alive and the tools clearly states it's part number and maker.
Update to come soon.
Should I believe all the negative things I see on line?
I don't know.
Having worked for Mac tools at some point I have some thoughts.

Good news the USA passed me to the uk Ketting Office 01536413800 and then to their local Dealer Andy he has lots of tools in the van and he is going to help me with a replacement tool, he has to order one for me.

i always had the best opinion of snap on for the longest time i had a good rep who was reliable in columbus ohio, but since moving i have contacted snap on customer service center to move to the local franchisee but in 4 months i have tried 7 times to get him to come and repair my 1/2 inch -3/8 adaptor and i havent so much as had a response or a visit since i started this job, poor service, no customer support, dont care attitude for people who have spent millions buying over priced tools because of the quality are now being crapped on i will not be one anymore i will go buy proto or something i know works a lifetime

Snap-on garage equipment uk are worse than useless! Four visits to repair a John Beam aligner and every time they got it wrong, never kept appointments, tech clearly didn’t have any knowledge of the kit he was supposed to fix.
Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Don't waste your money on this overpriced crap! There lifetime warranty only applies to what they think there lifetime is. I have a snapon scan tool did a software update and it wiped my system. Made it a useless brick called them and the last software update was last year and they discontinued it so I was sh$t out of luck. The shop stream connect wiped what software I had from the scanner since they decided to discontinue this model. I called customer service and there response was ... Since this model was discontinued we no longer have any software for it. Buy a new one.I will and it won't be snapon probably harbor freight same tools 1/8 the price

Been a customer for 40 years spent 10,s of thousands I have a scan tool for which I pay a monthly subscription. I updated the tool using their software this update has destroyed the tool. I was billed 420 cad to reload the software! They didn’t even update it. Beware if you’re going to deal with these guys on a scan tool. Honestly there are way better for way less.
