Went into Stockport store with my daughter all really nice spoke to sales staff all good she decided on the suite she wanted and we sat down with the salesman who was very charming and relaxed my daughter was excited I was more cautious and mentioned that she should give it the overnight test to think about it I said if she still felt positive about the suite then we could place the order on line the next day to which the salesman mentioned that it takes upto 8 weeks from order to delivery which intimated to us that should she change her mind she could cancel at no time did he mention that after 48 hours you couldn’t cancel the house she was purchasing fell through less than 4 days later we contacted Sofology to cancel only to be told the 48 hour rule I did some on line re her rights to cancel
I found 1.that if you order on line you have 14 days to cancel 2.if you purchase on finance which we did 0% finance you also had 14 day cooling off. I contacted Creation finance to cancel and was informed that this wasn’t possible only Sofology could cancel so contact them this we did only to be told we would have to pay around £800 pounds to do so my daughter was devastated as it was me her father who had paid the deposit and was on the finance agreement so we were compelled to go forward however within 3/5 days she found another house unfortunately the suite wouldn’t fit in so we asked to alter the order the cost was less due to her having two 2 seaters after much hassle this was done but at a cost of around £400.
So beware of friendly Sofology they are a slick no care company that do not inform you of your true situation ie cancellation options being better if you order on line or that yo only have 48 hours if you order in store the suites have been delivered the delivery guys were great no problem but I now intend to contact the finance ombudsman re creation finance not helping I believe that Sofology are a huge customer and Creation doesn’t want to loose their business so stonewall customers I did try speaking to Sofology customer care who are well briefed in avoiding help no head office contact offered when asked for TERRIBLE COMPANY AVIOD ORDERING IN STORE long winded review I know but beware.

Maria was fantastic, she took us through all the styles and options, made us a basket with the sofas we liked including colour choices which was sent to us by email so we could remember everything we liked. We found the whole process easy with no pressure and would recommend Sofology to anyone looking to replace their sofa!

Maria the sales person was excellent. She wasn’t pushy at all and knew the product line. She was very patient with us and happy to spend time with us during the purchase process

I bought my new sofa from Sofology Stockport who were very helpful and efficient. The delivery guys,Lez and Phil couldn’t have been any nicer. There were spot on time and explained everything to me as they went along.

Me and husband went to the showroom in Stockport along with our dog. The showroom is set out really well and it’s spotless. We were welcomed by very friendly staff who also made our dog very welcome . We explained what we were looking for and the wonderful Maria , Paris and the manager Gemma answered every question we asked . They were showing how you set up your music to the very trendy sofas and reclining them all for us and making us very comfortable and we didn’t want to leave . They explained all the different options of the sofas, the payment options available all whilst we were reclined on the sofas listening to music and we were even made a hot drink and the wonderful Maria then came and gave us a pain au chocolate. Our visit to this showroom was a wonderful experience and the staff were truly amazing and we cannot wait to receive our new sofas . Well done all the lovely staff at sofology Stockport .
