Terrible customer service!!!

The vests are not that great and we had to return one and they said we have to pay for shipping it back! Awful!!! I’ve never dealt with such an ignorant customer service rep who just tried to get us to keep the vest for a discount. Never buying anything from them again!!!

COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Complete scam! Vest does not work. I called customer service and they told me their return policy is to only refund for the item and not for shipping or pay for return shipping. I pushed back on that and said they should not charge me for returning a defective item. They said they would send replacement vests and I could keep the old vests and the battery packs. I told them I did not want them and wanted a FULL refund and did not want to pay to return the items and that should be at their cost since they sent defective products. They said it is their policy to not cover shipping to return the items, and said I would have to pay to return the batteries because they say they work. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Notice that you can’t review them on their own website and can’t even see the actual reviews. When I googled this company I found the real reviews, which were all similar expletives to mine. I had to ask for a supervisor and threaten to report them to the BBB, my credit card company, and my state AG to finally get a full refund. They still would not take the vests back and I feel bad even donating them because I don’t want someone else to think they are getting a warm vest when they aren’t.

If I could give them zero stars I…

If I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered two vests. And two power packs. Of course they took my money immediately. I finally got the vest and immediately emailed them that there were no power packs. I sent three emails finally four days later they tell me to take a picture of my product and they will decide how best to get me my power packs. I stated from the beginning I needed these by Wednesday to Gift at a party. This is now Tuesday. I have not heard anything since yesterday morning. I took the pictures. I still have heard nothing I use this company cause they claim things are USA made. I've gotten better service from China sadly. I want to return these since I will not be able to get them in time and I'm going to want a full refund

I am returning the vest and the gloves

I am returning the vest and the gloves. The gloves are too big big and you don’t have a smaller size than a small, I need a ex-small and you don't have one and the vest is not heated unless I spend more money to get a power pack that I thought was included in order for the best to be heated. The instructions say where the power pack is, how to remove it and how to charge it but when I go to do that, it’s not there. I call your company and that's when I found out that you have to buy a power pack for it to heat. In order to get a refund for the gloves that don't fit and a vest that I refuse to buy something else for it to work right, I have to pay. To me, you have false advertising and people need to know what is expected up front with the vest before buying and that they have to pay for returns.

The vests look good and work good!

We charged the batteries and tested them for issues. So far everything works great. I am waiting to receive an order of 2 more. They are Christmas gifts for family. The vest feels good in the cold. Looking forward to warm comfort outside.

Extremely unhappy with this purchase

I had no idea the vest didn’t come with a battery. Thank goodness I ordered what I thought was going to be an EXTRA one because that was the only battery that came with the vest. I ended up ordering 2 more after that so my husband doesn’t run out of battery power at work. Also my husband has worn it for only a week and the zipper that encloses the battery has already broken. The claim they make on their website that they have tons of 5 star reviews is clearly false advertisement and extremely misleading. I’m so upset I wasted so much money on this product.

The quality of the vest is cheap

The quality of the vest is cheap, zipper is plastic and hard to slide. Thought the battery was included. Not worth the $48 times two. Sizing runs small. Now have to be disappointed again when I get my $36 gloves times 3. What a waste of money!

Heated vest works great

Heated vest works great. Have neede to use it several times. Plenty of controllable heat and battery power pack lasts me at least 8 hours plus. Vest is very light weight not bulky as to wear something over it unlike my Milwaukee hoodie with bulk batteries.The heat coil in the neck is fantastic. I would suggest to order 2 power packs at time of order to avoid the shipping charge which is half the cost of item. I just like to have a spare one ready to go. Haven’t needed it but nice to know it’s waiting to go. Not a single negative thing to say about my vest.

These gloves are a piece of junk. They do not keep you warm. They were $46 for JUNK. I had to pa6 to return them and they deducted the original shipping fee. SCAM. DO NOT ORDER THESE.

I seriously question the technical…

I seriously question the technical knowledge of this manufacturer. At numerous points in their advertising they tout that their newest gloves keep hands warm to -25F/-40C. Very impressive. But why and how would a pair of gloves keep hands warmer just because the temperature is measured in Celsius rather than in Fahrenheit? Quite magical! And impossible! Minus 25 degrees F is minus 32 degrees C (-31.6667 to be precise). Ironically -40 C is also -40 F! Maybe that's what they should tout!!

Seems to heat ok

Seems to heat ok. Battery seems to be highest quality item purchased. Vest was oversized and swallowed me. Zipper for battery pouch broke immediately. Front zipper is left handed. Just not a quality product, but cheaper than most.

I did not get the vest but did buy the gloves

I did not get the vest. I canceled my order. I think it is sneaky the way they advertise. They do not tell you that the vest does not come with the battery pack that you need to make it work. You have to order that separately at an additional cost. So, I cancelled the order.

I did, however, order and receive their heated gloves. However, it is the same issue. The gloves do come with the battery packs and the charging cable. But they do not include the wall charging adapter that you need to plug in so you can attach the charging cable. So, without buying that thing, you cannot charge the battery packs for the gloves. I have had to buy one of those adapters separately in order to charge the batteries for the gloves.
For future customers, make sure that you understand what you are getting when you order so that you do not get a vest that cannot be used because it does not come with a battery pack. This is not a company that I would want to deal with in the future.

After using the gloves twice, I can tell you that they do not stand up to the projected heating time that the literature says they will. The battery packs have three LED lights on them that tell you how much battery life is left. I used them twice for about 30 minutes each time. When I went to recharge the batteries, only one LED light was lit. The other two were flashing, indicating that the batteries were charging. When fully charged, all three lights are on constantly. The literature says that at medium heat, the batteries should last "3 - 3.5 hours". At the rate of discharge that I experienced, I doubt that they would have lasted more than an hour. The gloves did heat up. I give them that. But, the time usage is way overstated. It was nice to have warm hands but I would not count on them for heating more than one hour at the medium setting.

Also, the literature says that when turned on, the default setting is "high". After 5 minutes, they will automatically change to the "medium" setting. My gloves did not automatically change to the "medium" setting. I had to change them manually. I don't know how long the batteries would have lasted at the "high" setting, but I doubt it would have been more than around 30 minutes.

Also, be aware that they sell two types of gloves; one is heated, the other is not (and is much less expensive). Be sure to order the correct gloves.

Do Not Purchase This Vest - Poor Workmanship an Customer Service

Do not purchase this vest. The second time I went to zip up the vest, the zipper pull literally fell apart in my hand. I called the company. Was told to send an email. They asked for pictures of the zipper pull, which I sent. Then they asked for pictures of the vest, which I sent. Their response was basically - it looks like this happened under normal circumstances and is usually not covered under their warranty, but they will offer me 10% refund for my troubles. No replacement vest for their poor quality product. What good is the vest if you can't zip it up??? Highly disappointing.

Epic Fail / hopping for a great comeback

I thought I did a bunch of good research about heated vests and found a good product. I purchased a Solana heated vest, and battery pack for my wife"s Birthday. Unfortunately after charging the battery and heading out on a cold day for a walk. The vest did not work as advertised. The zipper was very difficult to use and close the vest, and the only part of the vest that warmed up was the neck. The vest is advertised with heating sections in the front, back and neck. Maybe I just received a lemon. I am trying to work with customer service to resolve this right now or I had an Epic fail for her B-day and Solana has great influences promoting their stuff, Lets see. If Solana steps up and makes this right I will update this review, lets see what happens to be continued.....

I contacted customer service and after a little back and forth over shipping. Solana stepped up and did the right thing sending me a new vest on them. The customer service team was very responsive and did help. Maybe I truly received a lemon and the new one will be great. One critique, I wasted a lot of time resolving this and would have thought they would have offered me at least a discount. Being a small business owner myself I understand cost, but in my world protecting my reputation is more important to me than making a little or nothing on a product or service we provide when the issue was on my company.

The company sent me 3 small vest when I…

The company sent me 3 small vest when I ordere 1 small and two mediums.I had to pay to return the two back. No free returns. I re ordered and I paid full price for the second small. The vest kept me warm but when the wind blows wih a wind chill, aOne better wear extra clothing. In cold and sunny day no wind the vest works great. Keeps the body warm'

The vest was oversized and the quality…

The vest was oversized and the quality was rubbish. When I tried to return the customer service rep tried to give me multiple discounts to keep their “numbers up”. Again rubbish response and customer service. After returning and send email verification of order number, the company did not refund me. I had to contact them 4 times in order to finally get my money back. Again rubbish. Most disappointing, on top of the time I wasted is they kept 30% of my money. I found that the battery pack lasted…

I found that the battery pack lasted longer than the heated vest. One, the zipper was not standard. In order to operate the vest without breaking the usb part that goes into the battery pack that supplies the power that
That makes the heat one eat had to be left-handed or ambidextrous to decorate and then turn it on suggestion that next time you make it you consider making it a standard that the Zippo is on the right side and the power bank is also on the right side too so that that way it is easier to close so I suggest that you make a batch standard and a batch left-hand left-hand or ambidextrous
