So St Ives Avis 

We stayed in Stones Reef for a week at the end of July 2023.
This was our second summer stay in St Ives & despite the great British weather we had a wonderful time.
The house & garden was very welcoming & beautifully decorated & equipped. Extra touches like washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, liquid soap & fresh flowers made it all feel like home. The house was big enough for us all, & the view from the the upstairs window was perfect.
The booking process was easy & communication, advice was quick, professional & friendly.
The beds were very comfortable & the linen & towels were quality & extremely fresh.
The thoughtful arrival gifts were very welcoming & thoughtful.
We would definitely recommend Stones Reef & So St Ives, thank you all for a lovely stay. We hope to return soon.

Perfect stay in St Ives. Beautiful place. Perfect, well-maintained and centrally located accommodation. Excellent communications from the So St Ives team so that our accommodation was easy to find and access. Will definitely visit again.

The loft is perfectly located right next to a lovely beach, actually right next to everything, in a little courtyard, lovely and quiet.

The property was gorgeous, the attention to detail in the design was superb. Absolutely everything I needed for a relaxing break away.

Definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

We returned to Sandy Feet Cottage for the second year in a row. The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped, even benefitting from an outdoor shower (ideal after a day on the beach) and its own private parking space a short walk away. The location of the cottage is also perfect for anything you might wish to do in St Ives – be it wandering through the town, going to the beaches or visiting the museums and art galleries.

Booking though So St Ives was easy and communication was excellent – thank you!

We stayed as a couple with our dog at Seawater which is a really lovely, comfortable cottage, very well equipped with everything you need. It is in a great location - very close to the harbour and town but in a quiet street. The courtyard is a lovely place to relax in with a cup of tea/coffee or glass of wine. The welcome gifts for us and our dog were very much appreciated. As you can see it is on 3 levels and the steps up to the bedrooms and down to the kitchen are steep so not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Highly recommend Seawater as a place to stay and So St Ives as a company. The booking process was very smooth and efficient and queries answered promptly.

A very relaxing venue with lovely wide window overlooking the sea. So close to the beaches and all the amenities. A thoroughly enjoyable week in Sands Studio.

The most amazing holiday at trenoweth lodge with So St Ives. Everything was perfect from the booking, communication, accommodation, location. Everything was perfect.

Stayed at Figgy Cottage which was delightful. Very cosy and well presented accomodation. Nice raised rear garden to relax in, up some steep steps. The first 3 steps are a bit tricky and could maybe benefit from a rope rail as would the stairs to the first floor.

Our stay at Figgy Cottage was glorious. The weather was amazing so the garden and pretty courtyard were a huge bonus for us. The location is perfect as it’s out of the hustle and bustle but only minutes to walk to into the town centre and harbour.
The cottage itself is beautifully appointed and stylish. The gifts left for our arrival were so welcome - especially the Cornish coffee pods - perfect for my oat milk cappuccino.
I loved the decor and the beautiful, local artwork and books. Just gorgeous.
Would love a couple of chairs in the garden not to be so upright so we can relax in the sun a little more comfortably.

Recently stayed at ‘The Loft’ St Ives. I had had some problems booking with another company but discovered sostives and managed to book a short stay in the property of our choice which was The Loft. The help given was really good, fast and efficient from booking through to our arrival. The loft was fantastic. Clean, modern, and close to all St Ives had to offer. Definitely the best place we have ever stayed in St Ives. We will return !

Great stay at Figgy cottage small but well equipped and thought out ideal for a couple, the garden was a bonus especially as we had a small dog . Great location Porthminster beach opposite along with the rail station, and just up the road was the bus station where all the tour buses pulled in, an ideal location, will definitely return.

Thank you for our most fabulously clean and perfectly situated accommodation. We were in for a few days over Easter and through the storm.

We’ve had the best time and are hoping to return soon xx

We would not hesitate to return to the Loft.

I was very impressed by So St Ives professionalism and service. I had to postpone my visit to St Ives (built around attending a course at the School of Painting) a couple of times because of lockdowns and Covid restrictions and Alan and the team were always so understanding of these situations and helpful. The apartment I rented (Blue View) was exactly as advertised and well appointed (and indeed had great views) and all of the detail sent by So St Ives in advance about it was spot on and very helpful.

Had the most fabulous week at Merryn in Carthew Terrace, this is a gorgeous property with top quality furnishings and fittings. Great location, just outside the busy noisy area and everything easily walkable. All in all, a memorable few days and I can’t wait to go back!

Very stylish cottage, perfectly designed, thoughtful furnishing in every way. Slap bang in the middle of town, but still peaceful. SoStIves is an impressive outfit all round.

The Loft is a lovely property with an excellent location just a minutes walk from Porthmeor beach.

The property is beautifully done out and a great space to relax after lots of sea air and walks along the coast. Also, a lovely wine and coffee shop, St Eia, just outside the court is a lovely stop off.

So St Ives were excellent with their communication, even a text letting us know we could check in earlier if required. The little touches of milk, teabags and dog biscuits were lovely.

The Loft is in the perfect location to spend a wonderful time in St Ives - right next to Porthmeor beach in a quiet courtyard in the middle of the quaint old part of town, and just a couple of minutes walk to Tate St Ives.
Was quiet at night for a good nights rest on very comfortable mattresses. The Loft interior is stylish, comfortable, very clean and is perfectly equipped with a lovely wood burner effect gas stove. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be back again soon.

What a fantastic house, in a fantastic location! Firstly, the added touches from So St Ives made it extra special for us. We have travelled a lot to Cornwall, but the communications and the extras on arrival were far more than we have experienced before.

The house is immaculately clean, has soft fluffy towels and an interior that looks high end. There was everything you could want, from kitchen utensils to dishwashing tablets and a special hose for the dogs paws outside. The beds were super comfy, as were the pillows.

It was easy to find and the location to Carbis bay was ideal. The path to Carbis bay is located next to the driveway - but good to note (esp if you have young ones) there is a pathway to walk to st Ives at the end of the road.

There is a lovely place for food and coffee at Carbis Bay hotel, easy walking distance. Plus wonderful food in St Ives. Porthminster Beach Cafe being the best we visited. Like most of Cornwall you will need to walk down to the beaches - so be mindful of hills, we actually drove down on a few mornings (2 mins drive) for an ice cold dip in the sea at Carbis Bay. It just meant we didn’t have to walk uphill whilst defrosting.

Overall a fantastic holiday, in a beautiful home found through the very helpful So St Ives. I can’t think of a thing I would change and we are very, very fussy travellers.

Ps: The beautiful Royal Daulton crockery was much appreciated and the bubbles on arrival! The views were also stunning.

We had another fabulous stay in St Ives in January, the town is just beautiful and calm in the quiet winter months.
And what a beautiful property. 28 Piazza is absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location. We will definitely be staying again!
Cannot recommend the So St Ives team and homes enough. The best of the best of St Ives.
