Sourced Development Group Avis 48

Brilliant experience with Source Development Group. Bought a unit at their Regent Plaza development which was completed last summer and I'm over the moon with the spec and overall quality. Amy from the office has been extremely helpful throughout every step of the process.

Not even sure where to start, but i would highly urge anyone wanting to invest with SDG to NOT do so as you will risk loosing your very hard earned money. DO NOT INVEST with them!!!
Investing with SDG has turned out to be a nightmare. I invested a 20k deposit in 2021 for a Liverpool off plan property and finally decided to pull out as we had been promised a completion date of Q2 2022 and it turned out that by the end of 2022, not a single brick had been laid and they did not even bother informing investors. It has been a roller coaster, empty promise after empty promise and to-date i am still awaiting to get back my money. I decided to pull out of the project this year and still desperately awaiting my 20k refund. At some point they were providing monthly updates on progress and they just stopped altogether. They are very unprofessional and will just choose to ignore your desperate request for refunds or updates. This is a scam and a very dishonest and unprofessional business organisation. Invest at your own risk!

I just got the keys for Regent Plaza Block B, and wow, I am blown away by the finish. It's way better than what I was expecting. Big shoutout to the whole team for all their help during the past year. Thank you so much!

Update: my review was written in June 2023 when I had already been waiting a year for my money back. Sourced then responded with some essay about blah blah blah. Nearly another year on, I still haven't received any refund. The solicitor they made us all use has gone bust, the new solicitor is as useful as a chocolate teapot and Sourced have not engaged with the investors they have STOLEN from at all. I recently found out I'm supposed to now cover my own termination fee and solicitors fees when it was Sourced that broke their contract with me. When you have a 5 year old with cancer in the family and someone has stolen 43k from you, THEN Sourced can talk to me about being "frustrated". Although I did see that my hard earned money helps them to boost their profile in helping food banks etc. If you stopped paying people to write fake reviews, you might find you have the funds to refund those you're stealing from! Just a suggestion...

Paid a deposit of over £40k in September 2021 for an apartment due to complete in October 2023, with 2% interest to be earned. Fast forward to May/June 2022, it turned out they didn't have the correct planning permission in place and had to remove the studios while expanding the floor space across 1 and 2 beds. This increased the price by nearly 40k so I decided not to proceed. For over a year now I keep being told different dates to expect my money. 4 months off my due completion, I still haven't had a penny back, they're not even paying back the interest earned because I decided not to proceed, even though they breached the contract. Emails are nameless and generic, no-one at all taking ownership. In all my years as a civil engineer, I've never dealt with (or worked with!) such a bunch of cowboys. I'm now having to proceed to court to get my money back and claim compensation for the mess their incompetency has produced. They really need to be held accountable before they push someone over the edge!
