- he Spencer Private Hospitals in Ashford is located within the Arundel Unit of the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford (WHH). - Excellent infection control rates (see Quality Accounts) - Exemplary standards of cleanliness - Wi-Fi Access - Car parking available onsite The facility has five consulting rooms, a treatment room and audiology services in partnership with Hearbase. We are also able to offer outpatient Physiotherapy. Ashford also has 4 small en-suite bedrooms located within the William Harvey Hospital. Our Consultant base enables us to offer outpatient appointments in all of the major specialties including Ear Nose and Throat, Maxillo Facial, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Urology, Pain and Orthopaedics.
- Spencer Private Hospitals - Canterbury
- The Spencer Private Hospitals in Canterbury is located within the Emergency Care facility at Kent & Canterbury Hospital (KCH), with the entrance located immediately left of the Minor Injuries unit with an intercom to gain access. In November 2019 we opened our new location at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital (KCH), following our successful registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This expansion comes as a result of increased demand as well as an identified need to make our services easily accessible to all. The new outpatient facility offers private consultations in Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Rheumatology, HCOOP, General Surgery and Healthscreening.

- The Spencer Private Hospitals in Margate is located on the grounds of The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother (QEQM) Hospital in its own unit with its own car park and entrance (located on the Ramsgate Road side of the hospital). The Spencer Private Hospitals in Margate has been providing private healthcare services to the people of East Kent for over twenty years and in that time has built an excellent reputation for providing high standards of care. The hospital consists of twenty-two en-suite bedrooms, five consulting rooms and an endoscopy suite. The unit has its own High Dependency Unit and access to Intensive Care facilities. - Excellent infection control rates (see Quality Accounts) - Exemplary standards of cleanliness - Single en-suite rooms with their own TV, DVD and - Wi-Fi access - On site caterers provide fresh food every day - Free Parking.* (*For self-paying and insured patients)

Great nursing and clean but………
I think the hospital and nursing on the ward are very good but due to poor communication my operation was cancelled three times. The third cancellation occurred while I was waiting to go to surgery and yet again a nickel free prosthetic was not available. This should have been picked up at pre assessment and if it had been I would be well on my way to recovery as my original date was early June . I also think that denying NHS patients who are sent to the Spencer wing should not be denied access to the parking lot especially with a disability badge. Being told that park on a double yellow line is unacceptable

Support staff were amazing!
The nursing and support staff were fab! I had to have a a hysteroscopy and it’s uncomfortable anyway without the mental health issues I’m having at the moment. The staff really cared, talked me through it and held my hand during the procedure helping me with deep breathing. They then made sure I was okay before I left, I was with my dad (husband doesn’t drive) and they made sure he was aware of what was going on too and got us both a hot drink and biscuits, which was way above and beyond. I can’t remember the name of the 2 nurses in the procedure room and 2 other members of staff who chatted with me afterwards too but it was the best experience it could be under the circumstances with the care of the support staff.

full hip replacement
I had a full hip replacement carried out at the Spencer hospital, everything went extremely smoothly from check in to discharge. The staff are all excellent, very professional and attentive. Information provided prior to, and following, my operation was clear and easily understandable.

Spencer Wing feedback
My husband has been seeing Dr Khan privately for the last three years and so we make regular visits to the Spencer Wing. Staff are always friendly and helpful, we have no complaints. On our last visit though on the 11th August which was a very hot afternoon and it was very busy in the waiting room, it would have been far more comfortable if there had been fans or some form of air conditioning in the waiting area.

Fabulous hospital
MFabulous hospital, took great care of me, staff were amazing, they took the time to explain everything to me, what was happening and going to happen, from start to finish, I had my own private room complete with everything I needed in it, which was very clean I highly recommended qeqm spencer unit

friendly nursing staff & orderlies, everyone was kind and accommodating, very detailed explanation on discharge as to continued care at home and when to contact for advice. Although the noise from the ambulance bay outside did disturb me at night.

Excellent experience …
The whole process from admission to discharge was first class. Mr Boshnaq is not only an excellent surgeon but a real calming influence too. All the staff I encountered were first class and I can’t praise the Spencer wing staff high enough.
