The staff especially Gavin is great and also it is very good that I don't have to use the app inside elevators to start them up or down.The prices on long term are better than other storage companies.That improvement with the storage locks directly from the app seams a litlle bit strange but we will see in time.

Very friendly and helpful staff, gave me good advice to select the storage size that was the best fit for me and happy to answer any questions I had.

Excellent! I signed up to the Loughton STOREX & immediately felt at home. Gavin & Gemma really are amazing. They made me feel very welcomed from the start & helped me to customise my requirements. They are both super friendly & patient. It has given me so much more freedom in my life since becoming a guest. The units are spotless & keep cool. I like the modern keyless smartphone entry it reassures me that my stuff is safe. No more bulky padlocks & remembering keys. I think all the other storage providers out there should invest in this technology. The staff always go above & beyond. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much STOREX, I am a very happy customer!

Very modern, easy access.

Very helpful and was easy to use the app.

We went to visit a storage unit at storex Loughton, discussed prices and they assured us that if we found a cheaper price elsewhere they have a price match promise. We then found a unit cheaper elsewhere and asked them to price match it as it fit within all the requirements they had set out for this to be possible. Storex refused to price match it and gave every excuse under the sun to get out of their price match promise. Terrible customer service and false advertisement.

Update - unfortunately I cannot reply directly to the reply the company gave but this reply they have given is completely false, they have given this response without knowing any information on what my specific situation was or who I am so they have given a generic response. ALL guidelines were met and they still did not honour the price match that they promise to have!

Really helpful staff , excellent experience.

Lift one month didn't work, had use stairs, but for Storex everything OK. Storex said that I can come at 8 a.m. , wait whole hour and at 9 a.m someone come and help with it. Here is not customer friendly company. Sorry, that no competitors in my area. if it would be I would be happy to leave Storex.

Clean, new site. Good accessibility. Friendly and helpful staff. Not easy to make telephone contact though.

Just been in to book a unit, Gavin and Gemma were absolutely brilliant. Knowledgeable, friendly and really helpful.
Great experience all round.

I found signing up was effortless, it was done all within the app. When onsite I found the help given by Gavin and Gemma to be priceless! both were very friendly, explained how to use the facility and were very prompt in addressing any questions I had.

The only reason i've given 4 not 5 stars, is not down to the staff, but because of the restrictions by storex itself – whom only allow access to my storage locker during staffed hours (because it's a small locker).

Gavin was very knowledgeable and explained how the unit works in a very thorough way. He was super friendly and reassured us that he can help us any time we need it. Very impressed with Gavin!

I’m currently a customer at STOREX Self Storage in Loughton, and I can honestly say the experience has been exceptional from the very beginning. I originally found them through Google while comparing several storage facilities, and out of all the places that contacted me, STOREX immediately stood out.

My enquiry was followed up by Gemma, the Manager, who was extremely friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to walk me through multiple options, answered every question clearly, and made the whole process feel effortless. At the time, I had been contacted by a number of other storage companies, but none offered the same level of professionalism, clarity, or customer care that Gemma provided. Even though STOREX was slightly further out for me, the difference in service made the decision easy.

The facility itself is modern, spotless, and incredibly secure, with 24/7 CCTV and a smart digital‑lock system that makes access simple and stress‑free. The app‑based entry is a game‑changer — no keys, no fuss, just smooth access every time. On‑site parking makes loading and unloading convenient, and the whole site feels well‑designed and thoughtfully maintained.

On the day of moving in, we realised the unit we had chosen wasn’t big enough and naturally panicked. Gemma made the situation completely stress‑free and immediately assisted us with arranging a second unit of a similar size nearby. In her absence, her colleague Gavin stepped in, and he was equally as friendly, reassuring, and helpful. They truly are a great team and a real pleasure to work with — nothing is ever too much trouble for either of them.

I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone looking for a secure, modern, and customer‑focused place to store their belongings. STOREX Loughton genuinely sets the standard.
