St Peters Garden Centre Avis 

My family went for Breakfast with Santa and it was truly a magical experience. All the staff within the cafe were wonderful and very engaging with my toddler and us as parents. The food was excellent - I highly recommend the Potter’s breakfast. Santa came to say hello to us before our food arrived which helped warm my shy toddler up in readiness for meeting him later. There was then plenty of time for Santa to speak with my toddler in the grotto - he seemingly has a vast knowledge of all things toddlers like! Mine was over the moon that he got to speak with him and have photos. Can’t wait to see him again next year!

Really disappointed, no happy cheerful elf’s, some of the breakfasts were cold and just felt like we were a nuisance.

The table was set up nicely. The breakfast was ok, but I did think a drink would be included in the price as part of the breakfast. Santa was excellent and interacted with my child lovely. We didn't feel rushed when visiting him. The gift was also super cute and a good quality. My little girl hasn't put her teddy down.

I very much enjoyed our breakfast with Santa with my toddler. Very well organised, especially with the little ones at every table, food was fantastic, staff were super friendly, helpful and brought extra Christmas spirit to the event! Would definitely recommend!

Was surprised to find that having paid for the breakfast with Santa experience a cup of tea or coffee was not included with the breakfast. Other than that it was a great experience for my granddaughter. It was a nice surprise to find the pony rides and the the people running them were very helpful.

Service was excellent and food was delicious. The best Father Christmas we have visited. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed wreath making at St Peters. This is our second event at the garden centre (I have also attended the terrarium workshop) and both events have been great. The quality of the items available, refreshments and guidance were spot on. I would highly recommend and will definitely attend next year.

We went to the breakfast with Santa and it was absolutely lovely! Santa was amaizing, the kids loved him and the staff were all so attentive and helpful, food and drink were also lovely, I would highly recommend it to anyone with children.

Very well organised, quality products used, instructors were very helpful

This was our first experience of breakfast with Santa, and it was brilliant! The food was amazing, I don’t know why we’ve not eaten here before, the children loved the crackers and activities, and the food too, and then they had a private visit with Santa who took time talking to them and giving them a present. They were chuffed. I felt like it was completely as described on the website! The staff were all really pleasant and made the visit really magical! I’d definitely recommend!

Santa was amazing and the present great quality. The breakfast was lovely. The only negative is with all the lovely trees and lovely areas the entrance to santa was a bit of a let down. The entrance could be better so perhaps set in the wooded area or even in the middle if the christmas trees but not off the conservatory. it's lost the magic a bit but santa was the best we've ever seen.

This was my first wreath making workshop ever and it was fabulous. The setting in the yurt was really cosy with the log burner ablaze and the two ladies who ran the session were friendly, warm and helpful. The wreath itself was large and densely pregreened with pine branches. There was an abundance of beautiful items to use to decorate the wreath and also of tea,coffee and cake! A super experience all round.

6 of us attended the wreath making on Saturday.
We absolutely loved it.

Staff were lovely and very helpful - good start to Christmas.

Having enjoyed the last 2 years with our little Grandchildren at St Peters breakfast with Santa, we were bitterly disappointed today. Its gone down market.
Santa has been moved out of the restaurant completely destroying the atmosphere.
Breakfast is now mass produced with no choice on the day.
The food was poor. The service was poor.
The only redeeming point being Santa was excellent (as before).
We will be going elsewhere next year.

Myself and a friend attended the wreath making workshop this year. It was a fantastic experience set in their beautiful yurt with its cosy fire.
Expertly run, the ladies had a fantastic knowledge and were great at giving advice where needed. There was so much to choose from for the decorations and it’s amazing how completely different all the wreaths were.
This is the 2nd year I have done this course and I was pleased to see that this year they had changed from using oasis and having to put the foliage in before decorating, to have a much more I’m environmentally friendly option of providing metal rings with foliage clamped in ready to go. Personally this made the experience even better as I could solely focus my time on the decoration part and it looked much better.
And a bonus, we could have tea/coffee while we worked and a delicious slice of cake!
Thank you St Peter’s Garden Centre for a wonderful morning, I’ll be booking again next year!

Lovely garden centre. Appalling manners from man serving at the till. We stood in the queue and as we got to the front he put the sign up to say the till was closed and didn’t say anything to us or make any eye contact. We had been in the queue for a 5-10 minutes so he could see we were waiting. We understood people need to go for breaks but a polite comment to say he was closed is good customer service. We went to the other till while he made a call then he opened the till up.

Brought our grandchildren to the pumpkin carving which they thoroughly enjoyed. The two young helpers were very welcoming and friendly. Overall an excellent experience
