Amazing customer service, would recommend anytime

Such a disappointing experience with my son's Liverpool accommodation. Despite being professionally cleaned ( as certified by the property manager) fridges were stinking, settees had burn marks and walls were stained with liquid that had presumably been thrown over them, Walls repaired on the landings had not be redecorated and my son's bedroom again needed decorating. Constant dialogue with Cribs North has been futile and now we are told in their opinion there is minimal damage to the room, so would not be considered an urgent issue. They keep telling me how busy they are but not sure why that should be our problem? They have no problem taking rent from day 1. Contrast between the lovely website images and the grim reality is very misleading.

Before I sign the contract I did viewing 2/3 times, but the staff is really patient. As for other,I didn’t move in yet so I don’t really know that much but the flat is really clean

To be honest my experience wasnt very good, I got messed around alot, there wasnt very clear communications, I kept getting put to the wrong department, I kept being told it was available and then unavailable and I don't even think I got my deposit back from the second time I tried, I've got the house now but there was way to many hurdles to jump through especially for a student housing, this is way to much stress to put on a student.

The handover process is so smooth, the retainer fee really really cheap and most importantly, accommodation fee is affordable as a student.

The team over the phone were always extremely helpful, clear in direction and kind. The check in process was super easy and has made the whole moving process a lot simpler.

The staff are really helpful and attentive, usually responding to questions or issues the same day. If there's maintenance issues, you're contacted usual the same or next day you notify them of it of when repairs will take place, and that usually happens within the same week if not the next day.

Houses are lovely and staff are very friendly and helpful! Good communication all the way through the process and feel very reassured at this stressful time, highly recommend!

The company does a good job of explaining how everything works through emails / messages. Everything’s relatively straightforward and ‘idiot proof’ making sure clients are well informed.

The way this company treats people is appalling. Tom Councell offered me compensation and asked me to remove my bad review on here. I am aware he has done the same to other people to remove their reviews. This paints a very poor picture of management

All the staff at Student Cribs is highly responsive, trained and thoroughly competent unlike my experience with other large third party lease companies that I have dealt with in the past 2 years who are just selling inventory for large Uni style properties. I would go out of my way to find a property that they lease or manage. A real professional property management company. Well done!

Absolutely awful. The worst scammers I’ve dealt with. Firstly, every single one of us was scammed out of a portion of our cash back, with myself and the two i booked with losing £200 each (they said on the phone we’d get 300 each and then said prove it when we asked). The guy who promised us 300 each on the phone was called Tom/Thomas and his surname started with L so be very wary about him. We then were routinely left without maintenance for far longer than we should’ve although I will say the maintenance people were always very nice when they did eventually arrive. Also, we were told the garden would be accessible through a side gate which was locked by the council and for which a key was unattainable despite trying. Communications were generally pretty poor. I’d recommend anywhere else over student cribs, despite the fact our house was in a great location it was a constant nightmare waiting for maintenance and constantly having to make calls to get our cash back we were guaranteed over the phone. Just go somewhere else, there’s a reason our student house still wasn’t booked in April for a July move in date. Of course they also charged insane fees (£40+) for key replacements etc but that’s to be expected so I won’t criticise that as it seems like that’s just standard practice with landlords unfortunately. Finally, this wasn’t just a problem with the manager of our house in particular, my friend’s girlfriend was also scammed out of £100 cash back, it’s an institutional scam that anyone should avoid.
