I wish I never switched. I was given the wrong information by British Gas and ended up staying hours without electricity in the house. Worse experience of my life. I wish I had stayed with my previous supplier.

Love this service and have been using for years. You get a complete comparison between your existing tariff and the one on offer and a genuine explanation of the savings, like-for-like. My switch has not gone through
Despite receiving confirmation of the switch on 1 August, my switch has not gone through and I am currently on the most expensive default tariff with my supplier. Switch Together state 5 days to switch, but it has now been 17 (and counting). I have contacted them and received no reply. This is simply unacceptable.

Your welcome letters are inaccurate re…
Your welcome letters are inaccurate re meter readings. British Gas, my former and my former and new supplier say that I will not have to submit reading as they will get them automatically from my existing smart meters for gas and electricity. It is unclear whether my monthly direct debits will be for actual consumption or for 1/12 of estimate annual consumption. I still wait the promised letter from British Gas.

Poor service and non existent customer service
Apart from initial communication about switch in progress to a new energy supplier nothing . Registered for switch on 16 July by 17 August no info on progress or problems. Rang them 6 times holding on as long as 20 minutes but couldn’t get through. Nightmare trying to get through to anyone at British Gas but eventually on 17 August spoke to an agent who said switch in progress but nothing else. If problems why haven’t Switch together been in touch. They earn money from this so where istheir customer service? Very poor performance, hugely disappointing experience using this process. Will manage my own switch in future.

Switch together are very easy to work with. Twice I had a question and got a reply very quickly they are easy to contact. I accepted the switch, the price was very good, the switch went through with no problems. I would definitely use switch together again
