Sworduk Avis 3

I ordered a sword from here in the middle of December and paid nearly £20 for express shipping hoping it would be here in time for Christmas. Unlike the name “sword uk” the actual swords are shipped from somewhere in Asia so after finding this out I gave up on having it in time for Christmas. A couple of weeks went past and I emailed the seller to ask why it hadn’t been dispatched yet and was given a vague excuse about COVID etc. so I gave it another couple of weeks and still the sword hadn’t been dispatched. I got fed up of waiting at this point and put in a claim in with PayPal to get my money back. To my absolute shock the sword actually turned up on 11/02 nearly 2 months after I had ordered it and I was on the verge of getting my money back. My partner loved the sword despite it not being a full sized Katana as advertised hence the 3 stars. I would not use this website again.

Stumbled upon the previous review after I has already placed my order so I was expecting the worse. As previously stated the company are not in the uk and the swords are made and shipped from China. I paid for 5-10 working days express shipping £23, 15working days later sword still hadn't arrived so I asked for a tracking number and was basically told I wouldn't get one even though the website clearly stated I would in the FAQ, they told me the sword would be shipped to a London depot I would then be e-mailed and it would be sent to me. To cut a long story short my initial order was on the 5th march and by the 18th April I still had no sword, I had already opened a dispute with paypal that had just been closed in my favour and my money refunded, one day later my sword finally arrived unannounced, no e-mail.
Quality of the item was good and I was pleased with the product but buying from them wasn't worth the trouble.
Anyone else looking to buy a sword from them would be better to google the name ( which is faint but superimposed on their product pictures ) LYUESWORD or RYANSWORD, they are the manufacturer of the swords and can be found selling their products on Ebay U.S. approximately 50% cheaper !!
Wont be dealing with them again !!!!!

took the money and ran - paid 3 months ago - website states all items are in stock and shipped next day..... untrue!

what they do not tell you;

they are not even in the UK
the items are not in stock
the items are supposedly shipped form Japan
the items never arrive


refund obtained through credit card company

I do not think they actually have any of the swords on the site, I think they are a complete scam.

what kind of company calls themselves swordUK and has the domain .co.uk and does not state on the item description, or the shipping information page OR the FAQ pages that they are not in the UK???

A scam website - avoid at all costs. We have notified the British Martial Arts Association of these Fraudsters.
