Taxfix UK (formerly TaxScouts) Avis 

Have been using Taxfix (formerly Taxscout) for over 3 years now and have been super impressed by the platform’s UX and capabilities.
I’ve been lucky enough to be represented by the same accountant the whole time, Lilian, who is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and clear with her comms and filings. Highly recommend

Used for a number of years now, always a fast turnaround and a very straightforward website to upload documents.

Allocates me the same accountant each year which means I am confident things are correct and consistent.

I would also say the price is great vale based on other accountants that I've seen first hand change substantially more for an inferior service.

good communication and nothing too much trouble

I don't like being forced to do things against my will. I used Tax Scouts last year, and returned this year -without being forced. Now you automatically subscribe people without any way of paying for a single year, you can only accept the subscription, then come back to cancel it. Now you make me want to go elsewhere! A good business wouldn't need to force people to sign-up to an ongoing yearly subscription.

Once logged in, I was allocated a tax advisor. I had to upload certain documents.
Initially my tax calculation was incorrect an I pointed out how and why this was the case. It was soon corrected. You cannot speak to the advisor on the phone it's all done on line.

Very fast and reactive service.

My experience was good. My accountant dealt with some (from my viewpoint) complicated details and, apart from on one occasion, replied within the 48-hour timeframe (taking into account weekends & public holidays). I feel further clarity is needed for new service users of what to do to start the ball rolling - and which documents to upload when & where.

This is my second year using Taxfix and I am still pleased with the service including my own dedicated accountant Hannah Paterson. The deadline for filing my accounts had been very tight but Hannah was really good in ensuring accounts were filled before the deadline. Hannah maintained contact with me during the whole process and was very professional.

I used Taxfix to submit my UK tax return and had a very positive experience. My accountant, Svetlana, was prompt, professional and easy to communicate with throughout the process. She prepared the return clearly, uploaded the paperwork for review, and explained the outcome in a straightforward way. The service was efficient and gave me confidence that the return had been handled properly. I would be happy to use Taxfix again.

Quick efficient. Super easy to use platform. Just makes it very straightforward. Don’t have to anymore as done a few times but always so easy to ask them questions if you need

I’ve been using Taxfix (TaxScouts) for the past 5 years. It’s a once a year must for me so as to make sure that all my tax affairs are correct in detail as well as submission. It is an excellent value service and one I will continue with into the future. I would recommend the team to anybody who feels slightly uneasy in their annual tax submissions, especially with the HMRC moving towards MTD in the income tax space. In summary, I sleep well at night knowing my tax affairs have been dealt with by a professional!
