Got our appointment rebooked twice

Got our appointment rebooked twice. Got told we need a new phone paid the excess and then no one contacted me. Eventually I contacted them 2 1/2 weeks later the phone was sent out the next day, but they didn’t ask me whether it was eSIM so when it came, it didn’t work caused a load of hassle and had to go and get a SIM card from the shop because technically they sent the wrong phone out or didn’t warn us we would need a SIM because the one they took away was eSIM. Really bad service all in all

Issue was resolved by likewise team and very straightforward many thanks.

The teak has contacted me and the issue was resolved by the team very quick and nicely really appreciated and i would like to change my review for likewize to great effort and helpful and saving my time man thanks.

This company just getting worse I’m…

This company just getting worse I’m with them for years and they insure, but I had two phones one which I upgraded to and use and one old one was stolen from me and because I disconnected iCloud as I upgraded they closed my claim. It’s joke why you paying insurance then ! will be looking for other insurance even if I don’t make claim like for the 9 years I made two claim and that for broken screen 🤦🏻‍♂️ and paying £15 a month plus paid exess and keep increasing that why they move to wise which are horrible

Your recent claim was declined because the location services on your stolen device were not enabled. This requirement is set out in the terms and conditions of your policy, as it’s an essential part of verifying and processing theft claims.

Location services aren’t just a policy requirement — they also offer several important protections for you as a customer:

Activation Lock: Prevents anyone from turning off Find My or erasing the device without your Apple ID.
Remote Lock: Allows you to secure your device with a passcode, stopping unauthorised access.
Custom Message: Lets you display a personalised message on the lock screen to help get the device returned.
Real‑time location tracking: Shows your device’s location on a map, even if it has no signal.

These features significantly increase the chances of recovering your device and help us process theft claims accurately and fairly.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns. Please also be reassured that your policy remains active and can still be used for any future devices you register — including the new upgrade you mentioned.

I was over charged for over 20 year

I was over charged for over 20 year. For the Barclays TECH pack fee 17.50 a month. There are better deals elsewhere. You get a replacement second hand phone back not even same colour phone

We are sorry to hear that you have been overcharged on your subscription fees, Owen. We administer the insurance claims on behalf of the bank, however, your fees are debited by them directly. If you are being overcharged, please contact the bank; they will be happy to help you.

As per the Terms of the policy, you are provided with refurbished replacements, which are refurbished to Grade A standard and come with a 24-month warranty, for your peace of mind. The specification of your device is covered, please be assured that we will always endeavour to replace your device with the same colour, but this is dependent on stock availability. This is to ensure you have a replacement device as soon as possible.

Had not registered online for this…

Had not registered online for this insurance as I have had it for many years. The phone service was automated & there was not enough detail for my type of phone. The call was cut off. Told me to go online. This I had to register for. Some of the details I did not have so had to wait to go into a bank. All this would not have been necessary if I could speak to a person.

Excellent prompt service

I have made two claims in two years, one for my iphone that had a cracked camera lens and the other for a badly cracked screen on my Apple Watch. Both claims were very easy to submit via the app.
A repair specialist came to my house to fix my phone which was great! All I paid was £50.

I had to pay £29 and send my watch off for repair which was easy as the returns label was provided (all I needed was a Jiffy bag) and the whole process was completed from start to finish in 8 days. What I received back was a new watch!
I highly recommend this insurance, I can’t fault the service - well worth covering all your gadgets
