The Hearing Care Partnership Avis 

The staff were good but I am concerned that when I had the hearing test there was a lot of background noise which affected my hearing test results
When the hearing care partnership tested my hearing I was referred to an NHS clinic after due to hearing loss being worse in one ear than the other
However when I had my hearing test with the nhs my hearing loss was not significant at all
I believe having experienced two tests that there was a lot of background noise whilst I was having the test with the hearing care partnership
With this in mind I think the results were inaccurate and the referral to the nhs could have been avoided

I had an excellent experience at The Hearing Care Partnership in Selly Oak. From the moment I arrived, all of the staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

A special thank you to Matt, who carried out my appointment. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. He took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained each test and the results in a way that was easy to understand, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for his patients really stood out.

The overall service was exceptional, and I would highly recommend The Hearing Care Partnership to anyone looking for high-quality hearing care. Thank you to Matt and the whole team for such a positive experience!

Professional service , timely and efficient

I saw Claire Francis following an annual eye test at Byrnes and Byrnes Opticians in South Molton, North Devon on the 6th May 2026 when I was offered a free hearing test with the Hearing Care Partnership. I had been aware for a good number of years that, now in my 70’s, some of the higher frequencies were not too good.
Claire was extremely professional reassuring and relaxed in explaining and taking me through the hearing test process. At the end of this I was quite surprised at what sounds and speech I was missing, wow what a revelation!
I have been wearing the hearing aids, as suggested by Claire, for nearly two months. I can only say what a difference. The world is now a noisier but very much richer place. I wouldn’t be without them. Thank you Claire, job well done.

Great service - and well worth the relatively small charge. After decades of not cleaning my ears out and many years of swimming in seas and rivers, my ears were so badly-blocked with wax and trapped water that I had gone deaf in both ears. The young lady had her work cut out but did a thorough job, explaining each stage, checking for other related health issues and patiently making sure all of the wax was removed, before giving me useful advice and answering questions. My hearing has fully-returned and I am very grateful. Thank you.

Celeste, my audiologist , took so much trouble to fit me up with the most appropriate hearing aids. Extremely friendly and patient. I can totally recommend her.

The service provided by the Hearing Care Partnership at BBR Opticians in Hereford is excellent.

I was provided with a comprehensive assessment of my hearing, with clear explanations of the extent of my hearing loss with options for managing it. This included flexible options for financing the required hearing aids which, when compared with those used by friends, are of excellent quality visually, comfort and in sound quality.

Most importantly, I was not prepared for receiving a diagnosis of hearing loss and found this assessment upsetting. My distress at this outcome was responded to with great kindness and understanding by Tom, the audiologist, and he has been available to provide ongoing support as I have come to terms with this new phase of my life.

Highly recommended.

I booked a hearing screening test after noticing fullness and muffled hearing in one ear. The test was extremely thorough Jacqueline explained the testing at all the different stages, she put me at ease, and the results were reassuring. Marie did my hearing assessment a week ago at Biil’s Opticians in Totnes and today I have had my hearing aids fitted.
The advice and help I have received has been excellent.
Marie explained the detail of my assessment and advised the most suitable hearing aids for me.

From the beginning Marie was welcoming, and professional & explained the best option for my hearing solution although it seems expensive I wanted decent hearing.Marie explained all the options.
l have had many hearing tests but this one went deeper after the basic test with other options which gave me confidence that my results would be very accurate

I’m 29 and had been concerned about my hearing for a while but had put off getting it checked.

Booking with THCP was easy. The test itself was very thorough, and Qais was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge, taking the time to discuss my concerns beforehand and answer my many questions throughout.

I’d strongly recommend this service to anyone who is concerned about their hearing or simply hasn’t had it checked in a while. You’re in very safe hands.

Excellent service and very welcoming atmosphere. Claire is exceptionally professional and was brilliant throughout our hearing tests.

Namra Osman dealt with me on the day and she was very professional and swift. Identified the issue straight away and administered the treatment which was a huge relief. I cant thank her enough. Will be going back if needed next year for a follow up wax removal.

A huge thank you to Celeste, my kind audiologist, who gave me the time, patience and confidence to wear my hearing aids. From the initial, extensive examination and hearing test, where she discovered I had 50% permanent hearing loss, to the fitting of aids and aftercare service. My hearing aids are so comfortable, I’m hardly aware of them. My life has been literally transformed being able to hear clearly again; no longer having to ask people to repeat themselves. I cannot recommend Celeste highly enough!
