The Fold Cadogan

The Fold Cadogan is a wonderful store with great customer service. I needed an outfit for a special occasion and booked a private appointment with Sara, the manager, who was brilliant. She found me just the right dress and shoes. As I was slightly between sizes, she also expertly pinned it for the required alterations. I would highly recommend a visit.

The film festival circuit

I was just buying a new piece from The Fold, which reminded me of an experience from 2023 when I bought a suit for my film premiere, and subsequent festival tour.

I needed a versatile look that could be hip and sassy, to get me through six or seven festival talkback, parties, runway photos and interviews. As the Director/producer of the film, I’m much more comfortable behind the camera than in front.

I didn’t want to have to stress about what to wear or what to pack for each festival. I needed a uniform that I would look good in and that I could change up. So I bought their Jacket, cropped pants and vest – all the same color, navy blue. I matched the look with Jimmy Choo sandals, Zara beige pumps, and then white platform trainers -all very different vibes. I wore the vest sleeveless like a jumpsuit, another time with a white silk blouse and no vest, and then the jacket without a shirt and belted, with the pants and a red Jade necklace. And I rotated the looks from event to event.

Packing was so much easier & It checked all the boxes; smart design, leaning in with a fashion forward feel. It worked!

Welcoming, efficient and enjoyable.

Amy and the team made me feel very welcome on my first visit to The Fold (Chelsea). We had a great WhatsApp exchange in advance so I could set out my needs which helped make for a time-efficient engagement which was important on that day! Amy was ready for my visit and super attentive throughout, with excellent support from colleagues.

Great dress - and great service!

Most importantly the dress I bought is wonderful, but the high standard of customer service was equally wonderful. Rare nowadays to be able to speak directly to a person and, more importantly, speak to the same person on subsequent calls

Great customer service response

Shahnaz, in customer service, was so very helpful. I was a bit stressed because this item is a present to my daughter and it had to arrive within a certain time. My daughter lives overseas so this first purchase is a sizing test. Once we know it fits, we will be back. Many thanks.

Can't say enough good things about the clothes or staff

They are amazing! The clothes are incredible and I basically would buy the entire shop if I could. I regularly get asked where my Fold purchases come from!
The staff are unbelievably helpful - honestly I can only say wonderful things about them all. They've pinned me, found me different sizes in different branches, posted things, etc. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all lovely.
I swear I don't own the company!! Although I wish I did!!

Try before buy service saves a lot of…

Try before buy service saves a lot of time ordering and returning.
When ordering online from a new brand it is unlikely to get the correct size.
My recent harper service was great that all the items were taken back without charging me. The size was not correct

Charged for item after returning..

I have been put off ever ordering anything from the Fold again, which is a shame. I used their try before you buy service, which seemed the perfect option so I didn't have to fork out £495 on a jumpsuit which may not fit. Unfortunately, it was very long in the leg length. I returned it the day after well within the 5 day try on period. I received an email a week or so later confirming they had received my return and I wouldn't be charged. Then 3 weeks later whilst I am on holiday, I wake up to a message saying thank you for payment of £495. I checked my bank account and there is a charge of £495 for the jumpsuit I sent back! This really upset me and put a real dampener on my day. I sent back an email with copy of their email saying they had received the item. Fortunately a lady got back to me within 2 hours saying she would look into this. I've now had another email saying I will be refunded for which I am relieved. I'm not sure how soon I will get this refund, but it's quite a big chunk of money to be taken when I've nothing to show for it. Fingers crossed they sort it soon.

Superior Service, Forever Clothing

I am a US customer who has ordered several times from The Fold over several years now. I don't know how I order something over a US 3-day holiday weekend on a Saturday and the manage to get items from the UK through customs and at my door the morning of the Tuesday following! I ordered items from Amazon and Wayfair within the US the same day which arrived later. I can only imagine how much The Fold team hustles to pull items, package, and get them in the mail so quickly.

Moreover, everything always fits me well, I LOVE the things I have bought from The Fold, wear them often over years of time, the pieces are timeless, good quality in fabric and construction, and wear very well.

Thank you so much! I will continue to shop from The Fold when I can afford to splurge. The value is worth it.
