Great range of HMC approved meat, well packaged at a good price. Initially I was worried my delivery would not arrive fresh, but it was, am now a regular customer.

First time shop
We used the halalfoodshop for the first-time and overall had a positive experience.
Prices were good, selection was great and delivery was prompt.
I was sceptical about buying fresh goods online and how it would be delivered, but I needn't have worried for the most part.
The cooling methods they use was exceptional and when I opened the box at home, everything was nice and cold inside the box.
The only reason I have not given a five star review is, the burger patties which we bought were not packaged very well as opposed to the other fresh meat. Everything else was sealed very nicely and packaged tightly, the burgers plastic packaging was not sealed. Fortunately they somehow managed to stay in the plastic on account to how well and tightly everything else was packaged.

I loved my experience on the Halal Food…
I loved my experience on the Halal Food Shop website, it is super friendly and easy to use. The orders are dispatched on Mondays and Thursdays on a next-day delivery service with DPD. Local deliveries are FREE if your order is over £40.
The packaging is safe and secure, your items will not go anywhere no matter how much they are tossed and turned during transit. If you are worried about your frozen items defrosting, do not worry because they also use insulation wool and ice packs to keep the products frozen/chilled. All items are packed with care, fresh meat is vacuum sealed and it is HMC-approved from Al Barakah Meats.
Overall, a great experience and a website I shall definitely recommend to order from.

Not Great for 5 stars
I was told I would get an email to say when the goods are dispatched but nothing came - when I got home I find the items outside my door.
Also minimum order is £50 and this isn’t stated anywhere on the website .

Our website has a delivery information page which includes minimum order amount and dispatch information we can be found here: https://www.thehalalfoodshop.com/pages/delivery-information
In regards to delivery dispatch, this is done by DPD who have a spectacular tracking service which includes notifications on their app.
As they are deliverying fresh/frozen food products, they are advised to leave your parcel in a safe place to ensure the delivery is not delayed by returning to the depot for re-delivery.

Thehalalfoodshop cannot be faulted for service BUT the Sara's savouries which they carry are not tasty, pastry with near zero filling, the lamb lollies are awful as are all the other items. Wasted a lot of money on these as they are very expensive too. Ended up dipsosing of nearly all of them
