Never heard of this company yet listed my house
My house is listed for sale legitimately with an established estate agent. It didn't go on the market until 17/7 /2025 yet this website I've never heard of listed it on 7/7/2025. They have not been invited to value my home yet have valued it substantially less than every estate agent that has been into my home to value it. I have no idea how they got the details on 7/7/2025 or how they are allowed to list properties without viewing them or getting permission from the owners. This could be detrimental to the sale of my property and I want it removing. I'd also like to know how they got the details on or be 7/7/2025 in order to list it. Very dodgy indeed.
Terrible scam website
Terrible scam website. Where do they get the info from to value a house , and how dare they value my house without even seeing it.
They have undervalued my house drastically which could affect a future sale. Basing their price on a property that hadn’t been modernised or extended. They don’t know what’s gone on in my house and how much renovation has been done, and yet they are valuing it based on the run down condition it was in when the previous owner to me bought it . Previous owner had extended the downstairs , put in a new kitchen and bathroom, new heating , rewired etc. And I have further completely updated the other rooms since I purchased it.
And yet this scam website is still valuing my house as a run down house needing renovation, and still saying it has the old square footage as well.
This website needs taking down asap.
I can’t even see how it’s legal ???
dubious sales and marketing tactics of sales affiliates
My response today to their employee Julia’s refusal to remove my details from their marketing portal.
“Julia, I find your refusal to remove my details disgraceful and insulting to anyone's intelligence.
There are rules and considerations around how and when companies can reveal addresses online, particularly concerning data privacy and consent. My privately owned home is not for sale, and you have no right to use it for any purpose, least of all financial gain of your organisation. You need a legitimate reason to directly promote my address and must comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law in the UK.
Having recently watched the undercover investigation by BBC Panorama, and witnessing the dubious sales and marketing tactics of Estate Agents and their affiliates, I will not cease with my endeavours to remove my information from the web that your company has appropriated to suit voracious financial goals.
Confusing valuations
How can the same house have two completely different valuations.
My property appears twice on The Move Market. Once under the house name, and once under the house number.
Same house, with two differing valuations, at £50,000 difference in valuation .
I have tried to re- evaluate the property on the site but it won't let me.
How does this help anybody, especially if we decide to sell ??
Actively misleading
I'm not sure where they get their data from, but they make some completely incorrect assessments.
For example:
"Since X last sold 9 months ago, it has decreased in price by £5000."
The property is not currently for sale, therefore it has no price. But if we're talking about value, there is no basis for making the assumption that a property has lost 2% of its value in 9 months. This site could negatively affect the sales process for many homeowners.
Also, apparently "people don't tend to stay very long" in spite of the house being built in the early 20th century and only 4 transactions being recorded?
Refusal to remove photographs which are outdated
This company appears to peddled misinformation and when challenged refuses to remove out dated photographs and data thereby giving potential buyers inaccurate information. I cannot understand how or why they are allowed to continue in this way - as the owner of a property and taking GDPR into consideration when requested to remove housing data and importantly images should be removed upon a request -
Illegitimate business
Illegitimate business. They use outdated data pulled from other websites and present it as if it's from the official Land Registry. There's no way to speak to anyone—emails go unanswered and there's zero customer support. Avoid.

This company has written a fake review…
This company has written a fake review and totally undervalued my property. Unbelievable how they can just make figures up like this without proper valuations!
Company run by Idiots!
This company has completely misrepresented the value of my property. They simply use the published sale price and add the average price increase. They take no steps to acquaint themselves with the up to date situation - a quick look at the Planning Register would advise what work has been approved by the Local Planning Authority but this would appear to be beyond their level of competence. Since purchase 6 years ago my property has undergone major refurbishment and extension. It has recently been valued by three leading Agents at £1.5m - compare this to The Move Market valuation of £792,000. Total idiots!!!
DO NOT TRUST THEM
This company has written a fake review around my property and will not take it down. They have caused me stress and anxiety regarding this. Do not trust them they are scammers and work with agents to devalue your property to try and purchase for a cheap price after. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
Ok I have been emailing them this move…
Ok I have been emailing them this move market ..And told them when I purchased my property….. I offered on my property and spoke to the agent and said I want all the agents details removed as it was a purchase needing an up grade..I purchased this property and exchanged contracts move have market intercepted the old details and used them on their website … That was a contract between me and the agent and then. I’ve spent six years on refurb ….yes refurb and it is now the bees knees. After contacting them by finding a small bolt hole they refuse to change its status .it is now valued on the move market at 140 k lower than others like or worse than mine …I wanted to put mine on the market this and last spring .. but did not as they dabbed my property with a shitty stick I ..was going to do it this spring but the add is still on their website …I’m stuck here now .How awful you work hard all your life and someone rains on your parade only in the uk eh Our government and trading standards have little or no teeth From:- Retired RAF Aero engineer 71-94 Sgt Specialist

Appalling site with misinformation
Appalling site with misinformation. My property is massively undervalued by this inept company. Shouldn't be allowed to exist
This listing quotes the Land Registry…Really?
This listing quotes the Land Registry as the information source. I'm sure The Land Registry doesn't go in for such misleading information based on uninformed criteria. Really no help at all to either the seller or buyer.
MASSIVELY INNACCURATE!!!
I find that themovemarket valuation on my property is TOTALLY INACCURATE!!!! It says has valued my property A MASSIVE £74,000 LESS than next door which has a much lesser spec? I have an extended corner plot 3 bed Bungalow with double garage 2 bathrooms, drive in/out driveway. With approximately Double the land than next door Bungalow which was built by the same builder at the same time. BUT is 2 bed and 1 bathroom and single garage. Also states as a semi-detached house and is in fact a Detached Bungalow???
Where's the logic???
Answers please??

My house is on their site with terrible misleading information without my permission. Who gave them the right to value my house without even seeing it.
Surely it can't be legal. Plus internal photos shown on their website
security risk. Disgusting company
Didn’t know I had a swimming pool . I can’t find it
These people are advertising my address as having a swimming pool. The advert is a complete set of lies and false information . I don’t recognise any of the photos . Also I didn’t realise my small flat was worth so much . They people who own this site are in my opinion a set of idiots .
the information
This site does not understand property…
This site does not understand property values in specific UK areas. I tracked several properties over 18 months, and they consistently rose in value, while this site showed them decreasing in value.
I would not consider using this site for any information on a property I was interested in buying.
