The Move Market
By pure chance, I happen to stumble across this poorly designed website.
Trading name: "The Move Market". Registered as: Property Platform Solutions Ltd, 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT
The information provided on this website shows a complete lack of knowledge of the property market.
This badly designed website, with it's equally shocking inaccurate information to buyers and sellers, is as a result damaging the UK property market with fictional data, that cannot be proven.
A poor attempt to put the website on the map at the detriment of the UK property market.
There is no legitimacy for the information provided on this website, which holds no more credibility from the usual every day blogger.
This website is not accurate and therefore, by no means deemed for the purpose intended.
This website needs to be reported and investigated as the inaccuracy of information is detrimental and damaging the UK property market for both buyers and sellers.
5 stars for inaccuracy.
Trading Standards have now been notified. Lodge complaints to TS to strengthen the case to have this business removed.
And legal action will also be sought, so that this website/ so called business can explain why they have alienated 97% of the public.

Anyone wants to sue TheMoveMarket?
I'm outraged. If anyone wants to sue I'll join forces with them. Send me a text on: 07927152509. This company uses evil and bitter state agents to block honest owners from selling their properties. It does its valuation on the following flawed factors. The initial price we bought our home for in 2008 was very low compared to what it is worth now because of the true condition of the house. Even though the Move Market claims that the house has not been expanded or renovated since we bought it, which is false. Hence, their valuation is based only on inflation and not on real value. This is very malicious.
This cannot possibly be a legit company…
This cannot possibly be a legit company and you are STRONGLY advised to go nowhere near them. They advertised my property as being for sale which it IS NOT. Impossible to contact them - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Scam company
Scam company - everyone here get together and sue this company ! They are libelous ! They are massively devaluing peoples homes……i just sold my house for 277k and they have it down as worth 160k!!!!!!! I’ve checked lots of properties and they are doing it across the board….EVERYONE PLEASE GO TO COMPANIES HOUSE , LOOK THEM UP AND CLICJ THE LINKI TO REPORT THEM AS A SCAM. THIS IS LIBEL AS THEY ARE DEVALUING PEOPLES HOMES
Not sure exactly what the purpose of…
Not sure exactly what the purpose of this company is? Email capture? Click bate?
Prices are wildly inaccurate, and unfortunately are uncontactable via their online form to me to correct misinformation.
Their unsubscribe from emails is also defunct!
Inaccurate, poorly researched data
Tried to update details of my property as it has been substantially extended and modernised. The website still persists in giving a 'unmodernised' valuation which is clearly inaccurate and misleading. The company also appears to be almost uncontactable, even if you do send a email they do not respond.
Wrong information
Wrong information. People can put wrong information about price house. On this website is no expert to put price and good value house. Everything you can put abaut property and fraud people. For example 1 Ruby street in Leicester is after fair damage house , pictures is wrong and on the street is reporting japanese knotweed this affects price houses . Many houses is wrong value ! Never trust this website.
Inaccurate remote valuations of property

Absolutely terrible website with…
Absolutely terrible website with incorrect information and valuations.
HIGHLY INACCURATE WEBSITE
HIGHLY INACCURATE WEBSITE. This site is using historical images of properties, under valuing them £££ and more below what they actually value. Please shut website down
Please verify information with owners
Like others our home is listed incorrectly as we have had over £90k of home improvements and building work and this company valued our home at £200k less than a similar property sold 2 years ago on our road .
I cannot contact them at least to have a chat and give them updates .
I feel the only way to approach is by advertising standards as so many properties listed have incorrect misleading advice which also encroaches on my privacy as I have never been approached by them for permission or verification - just loads of misinformation printed .
Advertising agency can fine for this .
Absolute load of rubbish
Absolute load of rubbish, their value is £200k lower than 3 high street agents’ values, Zoopla and just about every bit of common sense market appraisal method you can come up with. It’s also £175k less than a quick sale value, overall an approximate 30% difference. They literally must make it up. They also had my house down as a terraced, when it’s detached, they blamed land registry and wouldn’t change it, I then contract land registry and then guess what it was updated to detached, however (and this is laughable), the value didn’t change. So apparently they think a house has the same value whether it’s terraced or detached. What does that tell you. Unfortunately some people look at this site and believe it, and then get put off, so yes this site should be taken down as it seriously misrepresents at best.
Horrible unfair valuation website
Horrible unfair valuation website. I had professional who has been in my house and valued it for £260,000 on this website shows £206,000 which caused potential lost and higher LTV during remortgage. I tried contact with them but obviously no answer!!
useless valuation site no info just…
useless valuation site no info just jargon
Inaccurate, unture and damaging real peoples lives. Should be corrected or removed from the internet…
This website uses incorrect source information and then calculates rates based on square footage. So a loft conversion providing 2 extra bedrooms and a conservatory is not taken in to account.
This means a property can show as seriously undervalued and have a massive detrimental effect on people's livelihoods.
Contacting the website them selves does not have any affect and they claim no responsibility for any losses through their inaccurate information, but there is no way to correct it.
The website should be taken down.
If I could rate less than one I would…
If I could rate less than one I would ...the report written about our address is totally wrong...it says terraced and it's a semi ...it says poor condition yet it's all refurbished...the price is about 90.000 to little ...grief what a terrible firm ...stay well clear
Laughable Website - Embarrassingly Incorrect
Laughable website, embarrassingly amateurish and blatantly incorrect information, which is clearly made up. "We expect this property to have some windows and some doors. And some houses near it have sold before. And we have no idea what condition it is in so we will say poor (like our information) and worse (like our website compared to professional websites) than houses near it. And we have no idea of the value so we have used a calculator to add the number of doors and windows together with the house number and added some noughts on."
If I could give 0 rating I would
If I could give 0 rating I would. To my horror this site has my house on their website without my permission. Even have photo of my car on my drive. They have never been inside my house but yet commenting on the condition. I can't believe there isn't a law against this. Or is there?
If I could give minus stars, I would
If I could give minus stars, I truly would!!!!!The move market writes wrong, totally incorrect descriptions re our homes using words like poor, bad, worse condition, small, worse than neighbouring homes.Such lies could seriously badly impact us if we try to sell our 'in very good condition' homes - totally unfair, totally wrong this man even has any website!!!!......he bases this on incorrect house valuations & assumption.....It is erroneous, libellous, very unfair.....he does not reply or remove false information......no address or contact phone number as he'd be getting phoned all of the time with understandable complaints.........Never trust a thing you read on the move market.........it needs 'moving' into the rubbish pile!!!!
The Move Market has listed my…
The Move Market has listed my daughter’s house that is for sale but she has not instructed this company to sell her property. It is listed as in poor condition although it is only three years old and is in immaculate condition. Although the house has been valued by three agents at similar values,THE MOVE MARKET has significantly undervalued the house.
THE MOVE MARKET was set up by a director of Property Platform Solutions, registered office 85 Great Portland Street, sounds impressive but it’s a kind of virtual office where you can rent a meeting room.
The the ownership of this company then changed to Termite Media Ltd. Yes you’ve guessed it, it’s owned by the same director.
The registered office of Termite Media is 55 Station Road Beaconsfield and their accountants are JLA Accountants in Darlington.
All the above information is a matter of public record and is available free of charge if you search on the COMPANIES HOUSE BETA website. Its an interesting website to browse as it details all the information regarding companies, financial results and directors.
There’s no suggestion of anything illegal, more a case of smoke and mirrors. Unfortunately the company that operates THE MOVE MARKET does not respond to messages to amend or delete property details listed on his website, even though you never asked The Move Market to list or sell your property!
I am pursuing the matter with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) to enquire if The Move Market or its Director is in breach of GDPR rules?
One test being Principals, where data held is being assessed on accuracy and fairness. I am contesting with the ICO the accuracy and fairness of property details and valuations on The Move Market website. Is it fair that my daughter’s property is described as being in poor condition when it’s in excellent condition and when no one from The Move Market has inspected the property? Is it fair and accurate for The Move Market to undervalue the house when they have no knowledge of the local market or my daughter’s house?
My daughter has filed a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman asking they investigate The Move Market and whether the inaccurate information held on their website has caused financial loss, aside from the stress and anxiety it is causing.
Presumably if the Financial Ombudsman rules favourably in this matter and a property owner can demonstrate The Move Market has caused financial loss, compensation may be claimed.
I am also engaged on behalf of my daughter with one of the top Claims Lawyers, again on a No Win No Fee Basis.
As I have pointed out above there are a number of free of charge actions that can be taken.
Hopefully, if enough people who feel aggrieved by the adverse effect The Move Market has had on their house price / valuation, the director / owner will desist from listing properties where the owner has not instructed The Move Market to sell their house.
I have since discovered that my own house is also listed on their website showing photos of the house when we bought it SEVEN YEARS AGO. Since owning the property, we have extensively extended and renovated the house including new bathrooms, kitchen, fitted wardrobes etc. Despite the house not being for sale it is still listed on THE MOVE MARKET’S website and describing it in poor condition, this is a joke, The house is in immaculate condition and the property valuation is of course totally incorrect.
