Not a good website for valuations
This website does their valuations totally arbitraly and without any reason
Incorrect valuation
Who are these people
Who are these people. Stating over inflated values on properties and quoting ‘previous owners made bad losses” They know nothing about property values and should be investigated by Trading Standards and hopefully prosecuted.
Rubbish information
This company have listed my property as being sold for £75000 in 2018 this is certainly incorrect as i have owned it since 2012 and still do.It also states that it is a 4 bedroom flat in fact it is a 1 bedroom flat purchased for £250000 in 2012
Completely inaccurate
Completely inaccurate. Every other indicator says property in Sevenoaks has gone up over 10% a year, but not these clowns. In over two years it’s gone up 2% 🤣 Not sure what the website is for but they clearly don’t want to be taken seriously.
This site is valuing my property…
This site is valuing my property £50,000 less than I brought it for and with the cross rail nearly completed and house prices within the area rising. I’m shocked. This is not what my property is worth and it’s valuation is completely off compared to Zoopla.
Is this website for real
Is this website for real? Joke of a valuation of a house that is valued at £290,000 from a reputable company these jokers website says it is valued at £230,000. This website shouldnt even exist!
Valuations: reliable?
If Zoopla valuations are fair and accurate, then those I have checked on Themovemarket's site are wildly off.
I've just checked this company
I've just checked this company on Company's House. This company doesn't exist any more.
They illegally used our pictures of the house without any permission from us and now will be on the internet for ever!!
I bought my bungalow for 120k in…
I bought my bungalow for 120k in 2012.The bungalow was initially on the market for 143k but the survey unearthed lots of issues which needed addressing. I spent many thousands of pounds upgrading the property and put it on the market in 2016 for 180k. Circumstances changed and I took the property off the market. Since then I have had a new roof and gutters put in, a new boiler and radiators, a new bathroom fitted, created a new cloakroom and replaced all the flooring throughout. Imagine my surprise when I checked The Move Market. Com and not only found they valued it at 171k but had used my photographs from 2016 to calculate the value based on 120k which was the price I paid before making improvements. I 1would guess their estimate is between 80k and 100k out. This is very dangerous and is a misrepresentation of the value. I am about to put my bungalow on the market and if anyone looks at this Company's valuation I can expect ridiculous offers. Incidentally, my previous house has been valued on this site based on the amount of money my ex wife paid me in a divorce settlement and is hence undervalued by at least 300k. This site is ridiculously prone to providing incorrect data and should be removed.
Who are the people behind this "…
Who are the people behind this " Themovemarket " website. They think is ok to put 1000s of photos of people toliets and bedrooms on the internet for all to see. Shocking and frankly weird. Yes weird. No doubt at all that Themovemarket website will face a mass legal action over this frankly weird invasion of privacy when more people find out whats going on. I strongly advice all victims of this website to take action under the GDPR laws.
No idea what their business model is
No idea what their business model is, but the valuations are deliberately and wildly inaccurate. They’ve succeeded in alienating a lot of people. Not terribly sure how this is profitable.
Not happy with the Themovemarket!!
We bought our flat recently and spent a substantial amount of money renovating it and to our surprises we have noticed that on the Themovemarket .com our flat has been devalued by £1000. We have written to themovemarket.com on several occasions informing them of their mistake but have had no reply from them so far. It is rather frustrating!! They are doing this to force us to pay them to value our flat themselves! It is ridiculous!!
£415k on Zoopla yet £305k on MoveMarket lol
so weird on Zoopla same house is worth £415k then on MoveMarket its £305k which is hilarious as 10 years ago the house was brought for £265k and we had a boom period, inflation etc. No way would I sell it at such a bargain price - a large Victorian 4 bed fully detached house with driveway in prime Manchester student area attracting investors who write to me every week eager to buy. What a stupid website
Checked a property on 'themovemarket'…
Checked a property on 'themovemarket' which informed me that it was worth £252,000 when the estate agent had it valued at £478,000 I put an offer in for £253,000 stating that 'themovemarket' said that is all it is worth, the estate agent laughed at me and told me 'Themovemarket' were the biggest clowns in property and are a standing joke in the industry, infact he believes that they will soon be shutdown for gross negligence. The house sold for full price two days later.
Made-up and inaccurate valuations
Valuations and information on this website is NOT accurate. Do not use it as a reliable reference for the property market.
Ridiculous undervaluation of…
Ridiculous undervaluation of properties. Just had my property valued by 3 separate estate agents, all were over £100k higher than Movemarket valuation !. Just to note that my house has not been extended or had any major renovation since it was built in 2009.
A lot of Amazing undervalued properties…
A lot of Amazing undervalued properties !!!
not as good as competitors
Rightmove zoopla instantly respond to remove old photos of your home despite requests and verifying home ownership the move market still hasn’t done the same, if they cannot do what others find so simple I wouldn’t recommend them for anything else
Ridiculously undervalued price…
Ridiculously undervalued price estimates. As at November 2021 they were valuing houses in Surrey at the same price they were two years ago even though house prices have clearly risen significantly in the last 18 months. Photo images of properties are also very outdated
