The most stupid and rediculous thing in world

The most stupid and ridiculous thing in the world! The user experience is the worst - why on earth should people have to enter all the details on their phone? And why do they require original documents that must not exceed 2 megabytes? We don’t control the size of those documents.

Hear me out! This is a real and genuine review of this stupid app - the others are questionable.

Good product but doesn't work with all networks

App is not completely intuitive but after a while becomes easy to use. My wife could not use it on her phone - authorisation code would not come through, apparently a problem with network provider. Overall a good product. One hopes it is highly secure!

A company is only as good as its staff…

A company is only as good as its staff and I have to say, Joseph was the member of staff I spoke to and who helped me today. He was marvelous. I am almost 80 years old and he was so patient with me. If all the companies staff are of the same kind nature as Joseph, you have a company to be proud of.

Time consuming.

I had to phone for help twice while completing the information in the app. Each time there was a wait to speak to someone. They did resolve the issues. The app isn't very flexible in offering options if you don't have what they ask for.

A mixed experience

The ID app was mandated by my conveyencing solicitor, as was the £30 fee. For that I was expecting a premium service, and I'm afraid I have been left disappointed. The early parts of the process worked well (app download, login and passport scanning), but the document upload proved problematic. The app was left hanging with an "uploading" message, which occasionally changed to "Upload failed, try again". After several unsuccessful attempts, I searched online to discover that the app has an upload size limit per document of just 2mb. This ultimately proved to be the problem (I saved in a different format to reduce the size, and sucessfully uploaded), so the "try again" message is hugely misleading, as it is simply never going to work while the document size limit is being exceeded. The app should be changed two-fold. Firstly, the limit should be changed to 5mb, and secondly, the error message should be made user friendly "Upload limit of 2mb exceeded, see guidance for fixing". The guidance should then advise options such as compression, different file formats etc. Until this is changed, the app is not credible, and certainly not worth a fee of £30. I hope the feedback helps those experiencing the same problem, and I hope the app too is changed. Thanks.

It was mostly very straightforward

It was mostly very straightforward, my only point of contention is that there isn’t an option on the mortgaging for staircasing shared ownership properties. Where it is not a new property and an amount of the ‘price of the property’ is actually what you already own?

Able to speak to a human being based in the UK !!!!

Found a phone number so I was able to speak to a human based in the UK and the phone got answered relatively quickly, had to do an ID check as selling a property that I don't live in, spoke to Joseph, who could not have been anymore helpful, professional or honest, I am not a patient or easy customer to deal with and he was excellent, I got cut off (my fault) and he even called me back so I did not have to go through everything again, Excellent service
