We had a small issue where the agent wasn't happy with the dusty blinds after the initial clean. I called the company and they sent someone back the very next morning to fix it for free. That 'Bond Back Guarantee' is the real deal. Really appreciate the accountability.

Super impressed with the service. They sent a text when they were 15 minutes away and actually finished right on time. The place smelled amazing—not like harsh chemicals, just clean. My property manager is notoriously picky and even she commented on how good the place looked.

I’ve used a few cleaners in the past, and these guys were by far the most thorough. They aren't the cheapest in town, but you get what you pay for. They even got the scuff marks off the hallway walls that I thought were permanent. Highly recommend if you want zero drama with your agent.

I was honestly dreading the inspection because the oven looked like a science experiment gone wrong. But the team crushed it. They stayed later than expected just to make sure the tracks of the sliding doors were spotless. Got my full bond back within 48 hours. Absolute lifesavers!

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL experience with tide mates in my 3 bed 2 bath unit. We spent almost $1K on their service (apparently walls aren't included so we had to take days off to scrub the walls down) only to have them return for a re clean which also wasn't deemed good enough by the real estate. We now have to pay for a SECOND bond clean $$$$ for WHAT?
DO NOT use this company. Absolutely pitiful experience and work done by them. Their website is very misleading stating they have 450+ 5 star reviews, DEFINITELY not the case. WASTE OF MONEY

Absolute nightmare experience. Avoid Tide Mates at all costs. I was quoted one price initially, but on the day of the clean knowing I was in a rush to move out they changed the quote.

Because of the move-out urgency, I made the mistake of paying via bank transfer. Since the moment they received the money, they have gone completely radio silent. The "clean" was entirely substandard and nowhere near the level required for a bond refund.

This company preys on people in the middle of stressful moves. They take your money, provide a bottom-tier service (if they show up at all), and then ignore all communication. I have already lodged a formal case with Consumer Affairs Victoria (CAV) and am flagging this transaction as fraudulent with my bank.

STAY AWAY. You are better off cleaning it yourself or hiring literally anyone else.

Highly recommend this service! They removed graffiti from our building with ease and were very professional.

Please do not use this company. They take your money and run. It is actually disgusting and more people need to report Tide Mates to Fair Trade as they are a scamming company that preys on those stressed about moving. Took full payment prior to cleaning and then didnt clean properly then were not contactable afterwards. Will be taking them to the ACCC

Tide mates cleaning is a scam. No idea how they managed to put fake google reviews on their site. They scam you by providing you with a whole list of things they will provide for a vacate clean but leave out the most important things. Also “poor condition” is up to their interpretation so they will just say everything is.
Their strategy is to underquote to get business then charge 200-300 extra.

Bloke also told me I had to pay more because it would take longer then for the first 15mins he sat on the floor talking to a friend while eating chips on his “lunch break”.

Extremely disappointed with Tidemates.

Communication was terrible from start to finish. My calls and emails were repeatedly ignored, despite multiple attempts to follow up.

I was explicitly advised that they would attend the property at certain times, but they simply didn’t show up. No notice, no explanation, and no response afterward. This left me scrambling at the last minute and caused unnecessary stress.

Reliability and communication are essential for bond cleaning services, and unfortunately Tidemates failed on both counts. I would not recommend them based on this experience.

If I could give a zero star I would.

They lie about their prices, once you complain they do not return calls or emails, they promised a refund and the refund didn’t come and then after weeks of harassing them to respond they finally did stating that they would not be providing a refund after they requested my banking details.

They also do NOT return back to the property to clean as I needed them to go back as the floor was still dirty and not steam cleaned and I had to go back and finish the job.

Such a scam!!!!

Absolutely scam!!!! Literal thief’s, in our house, told us we will have to pay a ridiculous price more for them to do, then cancelled on us and took our deposit. This company needs to go down. This is exploitation and fraud.

SCAM! Fake cleaners will triple the quote at the last moment. You won't find anyone in the end so will have to pay. The cleaning is not at all professional either. The bond is definitely not coming back without hiring someone else afterwards.

Do yourself a huge favor and don’t use this company. I really wish I’d trusted the other reviews. What started as a $320 quote turned into a $490 bill. The cleaners basically held us ransom to paying extra for an oven clean (which was supposed to be included) and demanded more money stating the house was extra dirty (it was not; I use a regular professional cleaning service so the house was in good condition).

The job they did was appalling. It was hard to see what they had actually done. The real estate agent questioned the standard of this so-called professional clean, so I had to call them back under their “bond back guarantee”.

They eventually returned to finish the job, but not before they called me with a threatening tone.

DEEP AND TIDE MATES MANAGEMENT IS A PREDATORY BAIT-AND-SWITCH OPERATION.

They quoted me $520, then on the day of the clean, they held me for ransom, DEMANDING $1420 (a 173% increase!) before they would lift a finger. This is pure extortion.

Their advertised "100% Bond Back Guarantee" is a complete fraud. The clean was instantly rejected by the Real Estate Agent due to their incompetent work- they even admitted their team "do not have a spot cleaner" for carpets. Their failure forced the agent to hire another vendor to correct their mess.

When I demanded a refund for their breaches of the Australian Consumer Law, their insulting response was to offer a pathetic $100.

I am aggressively pursuing a bank chargeback, VCAT action, and Consumer Affairs Victoria reports against this deceitful company. DO NOT TRUST THEM with your money or your bond.

I recently hired Tide Mates to do my end of lease cleaning and my lord was it a terrible experience.

The first lots of communication was full of hope- $500 clean, great communication, 100% bond back guarantee.

How I was wrong.

On the day of the cleaning the cleaner showed up at the property and called me telling me there were an extra $370 worth of work to be done and he WILL NOT begin the clean until the payment is made.

The clean was completed and I got a call from him, and he said “we will be available anytime mate if we need to come back and fix things up” – lie.

He also told me I would receive a receipt with an itemized breakdown of all the extra charges (which for an operating business should be stock standard) and all they could give me was an “invoice” saying thanks for payment of xxxx amount. In total I paid over $900 for this “service”
I spoke to my agent who was being IGNORED after the clean and in the report, there were 20+ items in the house that were either missed or not cleaned.

They are now no longer providing me with any information or responding to texts. (when they want money, they will respond asap don’t worry)

I have since spoken to a representative at tide mates regarding this and was told “oh we tried to organise to come back the next week” which obviously is far too late especially after “available when you need”.

All this company cares about is money regardless of what they tell you. I have also since found out they duped another customer for over $1000… So I can tell by this experience, mine, and the public reviews how poorly this business operates.

Tide Mates has affected my bond refund immensely and is not a service I would ever recommend Do yourself a favour and choose a company that doesn’t advertise these cheap fees and scams.

I would give 0.please don’t hire them.they will not do the job or they will demand higher price than they quoted and only do the half of the job.Will made us to do the payment in full and won’t respond when we or the agent contacted.Booked for 2 services at 2 places and they did the same thing.only Half of the job was done and when asked they said they can offer $100 refund which even they are not processing.Deepak will say that he will resolve the issue but won’t respond after that and simply say they are not available.Not sure if this is the way they are doing the business here all the time.i haven’t seen the reviews before otherwise I would have not booked with them.They provide the worst service and not customer friendly at all

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company will technically show up, but sped through our "end of lease" clean in less than two hours and skipped half the things on the list - skirting boards, vacuuming, cupboards etc. We are trying to get a refund but they keep saying they will "call us back" and never do. They also said they cannot provide a receipt for the clean, which our estate agent has requested. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
