I wanted to change the address

I wanted to change the address, and there was no option, only cancel the order. I cancelled and now 6 days have passed they refunded only 1 of the 5 orders I placed, 1 was sent to the wrong address. When I contacted support they said to wait more. So now I have 4 more orders stuck waiting to receive the refund. All I wanted was to change the address. I am not buying again in this website.

Still waiting.

I paid for an order with one supplier with no response and the order became cancelled. Money transferred to my Saldo account. Paid for similar order with a different supplier who packaged promptly and two days later it had arrived in Bali. 13 days later and still no delivery. Then a message blaming the delay on Ramandan with a suggested deliver date in another 4 days. Can't say I am optimistic. I have tried several times unsuccessfuly to return balance in my Saldo account to my bank account. It used to be that Tokopedia was very effective.

Dispute resolved in favor of seller who received both the product AND the money

I ordered a product on Tokopedia. The seller sent a completely different item — this fact was never disputed by any party. I filed a complaint, submitted unboxing video evidence, and returned the item via Indopaket (Indomaret drop-off).

The seller then claimed the returned package contained “plain water” — with zero objective evidence: no packaging video, no independent inspection, no chain of custody documentation.

Tokopedia’s own arbitration team asked both parties to submit packaging videos. The seller never provided theirs. I was unable to provide a return-packaging video. Tokopedia closed the case in the seller’s favor — despite the seller failing the same evidentiary standard applied to me.

The result: the seller has the returned product and retained the payment. I have neither a refund nor a correct product.

Over the following 26+ days, I submitted three formal legal questions to Tokopedia. None were answered — only repeated template responses stating “investigation is ongoing.”

Formal complaints have been filed with BPKN, Kemendag (via SP4N-LAPOR!), and YLKI.

Update 20 March 2026: Tokopedia confirmed the decision is final. No legal questions answered. Buyer advised to contact the seller directly — the same seller who received both the returned product and the payment.

They canceled my order and charged a fee

I bought a padel racket and it was supposed to arrive within 5-6 days. But after 5 days the seller messaged me saying they are not able to fulfill my order and canceled my order. I had already paid the full amount to Tokopedia. Now that same amount was sitting in my Tokopedia account and after I withdrew it back to my account Tokopedia charged me a withdrawal fee. I just wanted my moneny back but now my order was canceled and I lost money.

Penagihan paylaternya tidak sopan dan ada unsur ancaman2 penyebaran nama baik, seperti berikut :
"Sore ini saya langsung ke lokasi anda koordinasi RT/RW atau ke tempat kerja jika masih belum dibayar tagihan paylaternya.
Bayar online SEKARANG agar data tidak perlu diproses ke lokasi anda."

padahal masih telat 2 hari, dan telat pun juga bayar denda.

Tokopedia is theft’s heaven

Beware shopping on tokopedia platform. Especially beware when the chosen courier is J&T (auto choice when you’re on Plus free delivery package). If you must shop, shop low value items for when you have problem with either the items you purchased, the seller or the courier stealing your items you will NOT get your money back. Tokopedia will NOT resolve your problem, you will get robot messages until you get tired and give up (that’s the strategy). When your problem involves J&T courier rest assured you will lose money. Tokopedia and J&T have common shareholders so it’s left and right pocket for them. I have since migrated to Shopee for all my purchases. Not that much better platform but am happy knowing no more business for Tokopedia.

Scammed and still no refund.

Scammed from studio laptop shop and still waiting refund. Was told the shop had stock of an item and to purchase. Then was after i purchased was told no stock. Took a very long time to work out what to do and still no refund.

This is now the 3rd issue I've had using this platform.

Don't bother!!!

Penipuan... Refund tidak sesuai

Sampai saat ini permasalahan saya dengan tokopedia belum terselesaikan dengan baik perihal percobaan penipuan dari barang yang saya pesan.

Upaya penipuan dari barang yang saya beli akan dikirim tidak sesuai pesanan

Barang belum dikirim dibebani ongkir oleh tokopedia

Nominal refund tidak sesuai transaksi

Dan sekali lagi saya sampaikan, tidak ada masalah bagi saya mengenai akun Gopay Latter saya yang di blokir. Saya hanya ingin nama baik saya sebagai pengguna Gopay Latter baik dan pulih dari tuduhan penyalahgunaan. Dan limit gopay latter saya di kembalikan penuh oleh tokopedia sesuai transaksi terbayar Gopay Latter.

Dan perlu diketahui juga bahwa akun Gopay saya pun di blokir atas permasalahan ini dengan kondisi masih ada saldo di akun tersebut.

Saya disini sebenarnya hanya meminta perlindungan dari tokopedia sebagai konsumen yang dirugikan atas transaksi yang saya lakukan di Tokopedia

Sebagai penyedia layanan belanja online besar seharusnya Tokopedia bisa bertindak secara bijak dan adil.

Apa yang tokopedia lakukan atas kejadian percobaan penipuan atas barang yang saya beli terhadap jasa pengiriman barang atau seller atau mitra Tokopedia lainnya yang mungkin terlibat

Bagi pengguna lain yang berencana berbelanja di Tokopedia sebaik lebih berhati hati lagi

Karena Tokopedia tidak bijaksana terhadap konsumen nya
Dan cenderung lebih melindungi mitra - mitra nya

This site is not to be trusted ... Unlike Amazon or Ebay they do not protect the customer. even though I gave evidence that I did not receive the goods I did not get a refund.
Unfortunately I dont feel I can use this site anymore.

Slow support and shipping delays

I used Tokopedia a few times, but I wasn’t very satisfied. Some sellers take too long to ship and customer service replies slowly. One of my orders arrived damaged and it took weeks to get a response about a refund. The app itself is okay, but the overall experience felt frustrating. Needs better seller control and faster support

Frustrating

Even when you switch the site to English, most of it remains untranslated, which makes navigation really difficult. Oh and by the way they restricted my account for no reason — even though I’ve ordered tons of items regularly and never had any issues with any shops.

Tokopedia is Joke-o-pedia

more and more, this platform does not weed out rogue scamming lazy vendors, and because of this, they are attracted to this tokopedia. They dont punish them or remove them, just encourage them. they are delusional if they think it has a " 98 %" satisfaction rate. This is what protectionism does. It lowers standards
