Toms Garage Doors Avis 

Two appointments made, two no shows. No contact from Company with excuses or apologies. Loking at other current One Star reviews this Company makes appointments knowing full well their phantom engineers wont turn up. Time wasters.

Telephoned got booked in for the next day couldn’t believe my luck even received a text to say the engineer would call an hour before to let us know he was coming .
The next day got to 4pm it was a Friday I was suspicious of them not coming lol .I telephoned and behold the lady hadn’t got our booking no apologies said we didn’t speak to her . I basically could not give my energy and hung up . What a pile of rubbish.

The man was here less than a hour replaced to cables retention the door £288 had me over a barrel cables £10/£20 his rate they make £200 clear profit

Anthony came to repair my garage door following the wire coming off the coil and getting tangled. He turned up as explained and completed the work quickly and professionally. He showed me the repairs that he had completed and suggested aftercare.

Came when promised. Efficiently sorted the problem. Very pleasant engineer.

Every thing was done very professionally. Door works fine now. Person carrying out repairs was very nice. The only negative I I have is that I realised that the price quoted was a little expensive. Other people were quoting over £100 less. I only realised this after the job was done through friends. So next time I’ll have to look around.

Great service, turned up 2 hrs after phone call. Was there 30 minutes £170 no parts required

Rang to book appt in the morning. Said they had appts available that day and would ring me and hour before they arrived. 4pm came and no engineer. Called again and they said "he is actually on his way to you now be with you soon". 6.30pm called again, no reply. Told them in was a single female OAP and felt vulnerable that garage door was stuck right open. No more contact that day. This morning a text to say they could be with me this morning. Said no thanks I had sorted another company as no communication or apology from them. They just ignored that. Still no apology that they wasted my day. Greedy company who take too many bookings that they know they cannot deal with. Do not use it you are really stuck with no working door and have things that are valuable to you in your garage. If I could give no star and write a review I would. Use someone else.

Quick response . Ched explained everything to me and very knowledgeable. He was efficient in carring out the work . Would highly recommend this company if you need a job doing properly.

Excuses, excuses… I made a booking online and followed up with a phone call to confirm. No one came. I called back and was promised a priority call, first thing next working day. I took a day off work but again, No one came. I called back and again, was told someone would be out but no one came. All I got was excuses, the jobs over ran, no one took the booking properly, or that things hadn’t been put on the bookings. The ‘customer services” work for a number of companies and have no idea what is going on. I just called back from another phone and was promised that they could see me today! What a sham.

Same day service and good value from this excellent company and their engineer.

The Engineer did a great job and was very helpful. My garage door is back all working again thanks to Tom.
