Private plate
If I could give - stars I would. Ordered the plate 11-30pm 05/08/2026 found it £150 cheaper 5 mins later on a different site Rang Topreg 9 o'clock next morning to explain and asked to cancel or do a price match they checked on line and said yes it is cheaper and said they would get a manager to call me. I called them almost everyday no answer but then they called me back and said oh you have called us and said which plate would you like to buy explained I need to speak to a manager then they said we will get the manager to call you back. It has been almost 1 week no call back. Would never recommend again awful customer service.
They record all calls so can check my number and conversations that have taken place. Still waiting for their so called manager to call me.
Buy from plates for less or swift plates or DVLA direct as a lot cheaper and better customer service.

As previously explained, we are unable to price match a registration after the purchase has already been completed, even if the same or a similar registration is subsequently found advertised elsewhere at a lower price.
Regarding your request for a manager to contact you, we did attempt to call you back; however, unfortunately the call did not connect and the line appeared to be dead. We apologise that we were unable to speak with you at that time.
You were also advised of the cancellation options available within 3 working days of purchase. A cancellation could have been requested during this period, subject to the applicable £60 administration fee. As you chose not to proceed with the cancellation, your order continued to be processed as normal and within the expected timeframe.
We appreciate that you are disappointed with the experience, but your order and the options provided were handled in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of purchase.

Ordered and paid for over a week ago, money taken, email to confirm purchase.
Since then NOTHING.

Having reviewed your purchase of TR09 SRE, we would like to clarify that physical number plates were not included in your order. When ordering online on 2 August, the option to purchase physical plates was declined. Our team subsequently contacted you to offer 25% off a set of plates, but unfortunately we did not receive a response.
Your order did include our Fast Track Transfer Management Service. With this service, the registration paperwork is held securely by TopReg rather than posted to you, as we use it to complete the DVLA assignment to your vehicle on your behalf.
Our advised timeframe for receiving the necessary paperwork is 7–14 working days. We received your paperwork and contacted you within 8 working days of your purchase to arrange the transfer, which was within the advised timeframe.
Your transfer was then scheduled for 13 August between 9am and 6pm. Once successfully assigned, confirmation is provided by both the DVLA and TopReg, after which the physical plates can be fitted and your insurance updated.
We appreciate there may have been some confusion regarding what you expected to receive in the post, but your order has been processed in accordance with the services selected and within the advised timescales.

Please note that the physical number plates are dispatched separately and receiving them does not mean the registration has been assigned to your vehicle. You should not fit or use the plates until the DVLA assignment has been successfully completed.
If you purchased our Fast Track Transfer Management Service, we hold the necessary registration paperwork and manage the DVLA assignment on your behalf. Once the paperwork is ready, we contact you to arrange your preferred Monday–Friday transfer date and complete the assignment for you.
Please get in touch and we’ll be happy to check everything and guide you through the next steps.

TopReg have been amazing, my second purchase from this company! We had a slight issue with delivery (no fault from topreg but from the delivery service) TopReg have been amazing at dealing with the situation, getting me new plates sent out next day delivery and have kept me in the loop of the situation. The lads on the customer service helpline have been amazing resolving the issue so thank you so much!! I’ve also received my new plates today and I’m in love, can’t wait to put them on my car!

Great experience
Great experience. I bought my son a plate for his 18th got his name & age. We could have got his year of birth (which I thought was better as you don’t stay 18 forever. Unfortunately 😂)
We got it Xmas 🎅 & only just got around to sorting it out.
DVLA made a mistake & I thought it was us or this company . I sent a message last night & recieved a great reply explaining the whole process of getting your private plate on your car.
As stated it was a mistake not of top regs making.
I replied to top regs email & received an even kinder reply than the 1st.
As I always say you never know how good a company is untill you have an issue.
In this case it wasn’t top reg who made the mistake,but before that came to light they were super helpful.
Would definitely buy from again or recommend them. Great job Too Reg well done 👍
