Beware

Beware. Trifecta Nutrition not only has 36 BBB complaints they also have a public lawsuit against them.

They sham new clients into believing there's a money back guarantee when in fact they are charging them twice. This happened to me. The reason is because the 1st delivery arrives on Saturday, but in order to cancel the subscription, the client would have had to cancel their subscription the day prior to their first taste test. Their food isn't edible but don't take my word for it, read the lawsuit and check out the warning/reviews on BBB. I regret not looking into them prior to signing up.

Hello Jessica, I hope all is well. I apologize for any misunderstanding. We are a weekly subscription. The order renews the Saturday prior to the next delivery. A lot of customer use the skip weeks feature to skip the next week. We have the renewal date on your receipt and the account. I am sorry you didn't enjoy the food as well. I sent a follow-up email as well. Please let me know if there is any further resolution I can assist with.

No delivery, no notice…

Have no idea what the food is like because it was never delivered. We signed up on October 8th for 1st delivery schedule on 10/21. Our credit card was charged. Patiently waited, looking forward to having these healthy, apportioned, meals on hand. At 5:48pm on 10/21, got an email that our order was cancelled because they couldn’t fulfill it. We understand that there are supply issues, but they knew well in advance of the deliver date that they would not be able to fulfill the order, but they held onto our money and waited until the date it was supposed to be delivered to inform us. Totally unethical.

AWFUL DELIVERY SERVICE

Awful delivery services! I’ve been using Trifecta off and on for several years and until this year, 2022, I would have given them a 4 to 5 star rating. This is the THIRD time this year I’m having to complain to customer service about my delivery. The box is put in my front yard, not on my front porch. The primary issue with this is that in the yard, the box is not easily visible. I may not see this perishable package for several hours or more. I have a 5 y/o drought tolerant landscape consisting of tall plants and shrubs. I’ve complained to customer service twice and both times I thought my concerns were heard. HOWEVER, I just pulled into my driveway from an overnight trip and see the orange box sitting in the front yard. The box has leaking stains on it and fluid dripping from it as I picked it up. I’m guessing it’s been sitting out in the sun for close to the 24 hours I’ve been away. My neighbor came by twice to feed my dog. He would have seen the box had it been on the front porch and brought it inside. It doesn’t matter how delicious the food is if my customer service and delivery service are stressful.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Good luck getting ahold of anyone if you have a problem! I’m an airline pilot, and ordered some food while at training. The moves me to a different city, and I tried addressing the issue well outside of the STRICT, UNWAVERING 7 day cancellation policy, and inside the 7 days, continued to try to have the shipping address changed BEFORE it shipped. Still no response to emails, no call backs, and no answer on the customer service line. So the shipment went out to an address where I no longer was. This could have been remedied and I’d be a satisfied customer. The food is not bad, not great, but edible. Just know that they want your cash, and that’s the most important thing to this company. They don’t care if you get your food, as long as they get paid. Many other services out there with much better food, and stellar customer service. Stay away from this one.

We sincerely apologize for your negative experience and we appreciate your honest feedback.

We are a weekly meal delivery subscription. Once you have selected your meal/items, your account will default to a weekly schedule. We provide a ‘skip weeks’ feature for weekly subscribers right on the account dashboard. The last day to skip/cancel an order is the Friday before the delivery.

Once we're past our Friday cutoff it is not possible to cancel/update orders processed for the coming week. In dealing with perishable goods, we have strict cutoffs to allow us to properly forecast and successfully fulfill orders nationwide without delay. I'm sorry we could not be more flexible.

The food is subar

The food is subar. I tried to cancel 5 days before my shipment date and was told I couldn't and they refused to refund me. Had to go to my bank to get my money back - avoid!!

PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE MEAL COMPANY

I purchaSed 12 meals and I could even finish 1 meal, because their food was horrible, bad taste! Turn bad & rancid when It arrived.
Definitely the worst experience ever.
And don’t forget there’s no cancel/ unsubscribe option on their website, no live chat and I found out I had to call them on the phone to canceled it

Great option to meal prepping

Started supplementing my own home cooked meals with Trifecta, to keep me on track and avoiding fast food cheat meals. Tasty healthy meals, and conveniently delivered to my house every few days, so they're always fresh. Great option if you're trying to be healthy and don't want to meal prep all the time.
