Your website is terrible
Your website is terrible! Impossible to search, impossible to apply credits - finally called and it took almost 30 minutes to place an order!!

Tulip World does not send what they advertise.
This company advertised No. 1 hosta bare roots and they also show a picture of No. 1 hosta bare roots. But they send something much, much smaller. What I received was about 1/10th the size of what was shown and what is the nursery industry standard for No. 1 hostas.

Angry, Waste of time
I am a first-time customer and I was genuinely excited to try your Dahlia flowers. I placed an order on April 27, 2024, and awaited my items. However, I became concerned once they arrived because my Dahlia Tubers were swarming with bugs. I released as many bugs as possible outside before planting my flowers indoors. As the flowers grew and reached twelve inches in height, I noticed the bugs still infested my plants. I tried various methods to get rid of the bugs, such as drying out the plants, using insecticidal soap, neem oil, etc., but the bugs continued to destroy my plants and even spread to other plants I had in my home for years. Eventually, I discovered that the bugs had begun eating the roots of my plants. We used a chemical to eliminate the bugs and larvae, but unfortunately, it was too late. Everything I had grown in my home has been destroyed, except for one or two plants. You claim that your plants will grow, but you didn't mention for how long or how well. Also, there is no guarantee that the plants won't come with an infestation of bugs. I am beyond disappointed and upset about this. This incident occurred in under two months, and as much as I would like a refund, it will not compensate for my loss of time and the hard work I put into my plants that I lost thanks to your company. I will never do business with you again; that is a promise.

Not true to their product , ordered one product and received something else, after contacting them and e-mailing pictures they did nothing about it. They told me that it will take 2-3 years for dahlias to reach their size and height , unreal !

BUYER BEWARE
I have ordered 3 separate times each time their was something missing or the counts were wrong. This last time all my Iris were missing just dust. My calla lilies were all rotten. Customer service is a joke.i will not purchase from them BEWARE.THEY CAN KEEP THE MONEY APPARENTLY THEY NEED IT MORE THAN ME. KEEP THIS UP YOU WONT HAVE ANY CUSTOMERS LEFT.

I ordered 120 gladiolus in the fall to be planted in the spring. Not one of them were viable. They claim “100% satisfaction …. within the first growing season as defined below*”.or you get a refund BUT they cover themselves with double talk - “ We recommend all items be planted immediately after arrival. We are not able to guarantee the viability of the items if they are not planted upon arrival and stored.”…” We do not offer refunds for items with failure to grow.”….” Any product that has been in the possession of the customer for more than 15 days will not be eligible for return due to the perishable nature of our product.”
(The package says to be planted March-May)
They want me to accept a “gift certificate” instead of a refund - I filed my complaint with the BBB in April.
I would give negative stars if I could!

I ordered amaryllis bulbs for my first order from Tulip World. They were more reasonable in price than other places, and I got free shipping after my order was over $45. All of my bulbs have been beautiful! I have since ordered other flowers, and have been equally satisfied. I would highly recommend their company.

I would give them - stars if I could! I spent $60+ dollars for junk! They lied about shipping and there customer service was VERY rude! Well I finally got the bulbs and I was needless to say very disappointed! one bulb was very-very dead the rest I planted as directed and nothing is growing? So sad I suggest you stir clear of this company!

I contacted Tulip World today (3/6/24). The rep told me the products were only guaranteed until October 2023. Any gardener knows that perennial bulbs/corms don't always show that quickly. This company does not stand behind their product clearly.

I am a great fan of Tulip World. All of my orders have been filled correctly and quickly. I have had questions from time to time and the answers are quick, to the point and helpful.
I have spent over $4K on products and got No Refund for $25 of DEAD Bulbs
I have spent over $4K on products at Tulip World in the past 2 years. I have never asked for a refund or replacement of any item. Recently I received dead bulbs. Only $50 worth but that's not the point. After being told to send photos, which I did do, I got a refund for 1 of the dead sets of bulbs for $25. So, I had to email about the other set. I was told to send photos, which I had already done. Then I was told to send photos of ALL of the dead bulbs rather than the 3 with packaging I had sent (which were sufficient to get a refund on the dead Raniculus). Well it's been weeks and I threw away the dead Anemone Bulbs since I'd already emailed 3 time and sent photos twice. After spending as much as I have, do they think I am trying to cheat them out of $25 lousy dollars? Very insulting. And try to get a "live" person on the phone! No such luck. I'll be buying my bulbs from another vendor in the future. So Buyer Beware! They make it very difficult to use the warranty!

Service rep did not understand complaint
I entered the code for free shipping on my order over $45. When I was billed $7.95 for shipping I called customer service. The rep asked me why I was calling 3 times (I answered 3 times, I wanted credit for my free shipping). The 4th time he asked I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor. He kept apologizing but would not transfer me to a supervisor. I hung up after telling him I would dispute the charges on my CC. He called me back to say he just credited me on the shipping. Very very poor customer service.

Still waiting for my order
I ordered bulbs for Fall planting back in July. They were supposed to ship the Las week of September. I called to inquire about shipping information and was told they will ship the first 2 weeks of October. I didn't receive anything. Called again November 1st and they still have not shipped. I was told there is an issue with the USPS tracking number. When I asked if they could ahip with a different carrier I was told no because the shipping label has already been printed. So there's a problem with it and you can't ship my stuff but refuse to ship another method. $80 spent on bulbs I can't get.

I made three separate orders for gladiolus traderhorn corms and I am hurt and disgusted by what I received. Every single corm was SHRIVELED, DEAD, AND ROTTED TO THE CORE. I can't believe this company, and its parent company, Holland Bulb Farms, hasn't been investigated. This company is a fraud.
Plants DOA, Tulip World Refusing Refund
I naively ordered from Tulip World because they had the variety of Clematis I wanted, and I couldn't find it locally. I also added some Echinacea and Phlox to the order while I was at it. The plants finally came, and they all looked DEAD. I planted them the minute they arrived, in top planting soil and perfect conditions. Only one clematis grew, the rest remained dead. I contacted TW a couple weeks in and asked for a refund, they said they ship their plants in a dormant stage, so it takes 6-8 weeks to see growth. What a line. They tell you that because after 6-8 weeks, they don't give cash refunds, only "gift certificates" to get more dead plants. I stupidly did not check reviews on TW before ordering and I should have, as I'm not the only one they have cheated. I will be contacting BBB and I guess their state attorney general about TW's poor business practices. Cheating customers is not a good way to do business! (By the way, after three months, the only live plant is barely 3 inches tall. Not good quality at all!)
