Although I did not commit to selling my phone with this company, the customer service and level of respect/care they take with your device during handling and shipping was admirable. I'm sure its not a guarantee but my device was even returned in its original box (despite their T&Cs implying boxes and accessories may be discarded).

4/5 stars as I believe the grading criteria/methods of assessment could be made clearer.

Sent the device in at a value of £550, videos the device before I sent it to show no damage. They reply with an offer of £350 as "Device has had a regraded price to the current price we offer due to the order being out of our locked price period. Device has scratches across the screen which can be seen from 30cm away". UTTER LIES and I have evidence to show that's not the case.

Rejected and the offered another £20. HUGE SCAM

Very easy to send item in, received quickly, price paid was greater than that quoted. Better than other companies I’ve used before!

Quoted the best price for my phone. Paid the amount quoted on the day they received it too. Very good.

They offered me 30% less then price promised! My phone had zero scratches and no dents etc.. and was less than 6 months old. Will never use or recommend! go elsewhere if you have anything to sell.

Sent off an IPhone 12 mini 128gb and was quoted £244. Sent off the phone and received an email 2 days later to say it was damaged and a reduced offer of £155.

I asked for them to send a picture proving the damage and received a picture with some white marks on the screen which o knew wasn’t there when I sent it.

I did dispute and was offered another £10 but I asked the phone to be sent back. I was sent a video of 4sexs flashing the phone around which made me more dubious.

I finally received the phone back……WITH NO DAMAGE!!

Be very aware and challenge the reduced price. I’m sure they do it to others.

Simple straightforward procedure.

Speedy payment and price paid was as offered.

Don’t be fooled by all the promises and gimmicks.

Their main selling point is “instant cash outs” which actually aren’t available yet! 😂

I sent an immaculate iPhone in that was valued at £400 (easily the best price compared to competitors) yet when it got there they “found a scratch” and offered me £140 less.

If I had to take a guess it sounds like they’re offering people the best price on the market and then lowering it once they receive the item, hoping some people will just accept it for convenience. The pressure tactics of not letting you access the app until you’ve made a decision will definitely help them convince more people.

All the extra mailing needed operating this way won’t help the environment they claim to care so much for.

Do yourselves a favour and take the lower price from the more reputable company and avoid twig.

Update: it’s been a week since I asked for my phone to be returned. I still haven’t had confirmation it has been sent and I have no tracking number. They won’t provide this to me on live chat either.

Anytime I ask to speak to a manager or a complaints email address I get ignored.

Slight misunderstanding at the start but this was resolved promptly. Everything was good.

In the process of dealing with Twig right now (on behalf of my partner) and I sent in his iPhone 13 Pro Max to them which was in phenomenal quality as it's always been used with a screen protector and case - I have photographic evidence of its phenomenal quality before posting to them. They've gotten back to me today with a reduced offer (a reduction of £37) from the original agreed price. Their reasoning is that the new price is due to the original now being outside of the 7 day price lock guarantee.... this is outlandish and frankly illogical given they took several days from the original claim being raised to send me the return packaging for the phone..... I'm absolutely furious about this and am currently pursuing it with their customer service team. I will update this review accordingly but so far I'm not remotely impressed with these cheap tactics from them to increase their profits. UPDATE: They acknowledged the delay in packaging being received and upped the offer a little (still not the original £532 offer, but upped it to £515, which was adequate). Overal OK experience, but certainly not impressive by any means.

Delivered on their promise of paying me after a dispute with Royal Mail.

Fantastic customer service - very communicative - unfortunately Post Office lost the phone - but have been sent the full price of phone as agreed with TWIG.

I would definitely recommend Twig to anyone selling their old mobile phone. I find it hard deciding where to sell my iPhone every year as you all know the devices are quite expensive and its hard knowing who to trust and especially when you are using a new company. However Twig was very reassuring and their customer service was very trustworthy and helpful. They had the best price for my iphone 14 pro max and they kept to their word and paid out what i was quoted. I was very thankful to them, and was impressed by their speedy payment method. They received my phone this morning and i had money in my bank by 5pm once my phone was checked over by them. Excellent and trust worthy service. Definitely hope to use Twig again in the furture.
