The whole experience from quotation to payment was faultless. Excellent communication throughout. A large step above some others I have used in the past.

Straight forward and got the price agreed. Unlike other companies who want nothing but brand new in box for a ridiculous price.

I recently had an utterly unsatisfactory experience with Twig, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal. I sent my iPhone 14 (IMEI number: 355191395909300) to Twig on September 5th, 2023. The device was in impeccable condition, free from any noticeable cosmetic damage.

However, my expectations were brutally shattered when I received my package (Tracking number: QY685904408GB) on September 11th, 2023. To my astonishment, the phone inside was not my iPhone 14, but rather an iPhone 12. Worse yet, this iPhone 12 had a shattered back and featured a distinct IMEI number (IMEI number: 357377091203373), entirely different from the one I had sent to Twig.

What added insult to injury was the email confirmation I received from Twig on September 8th, 2023. In this correspondence, Twig acknowledged an issue with my cashout but assured me that they would be sending me an iPhone 14. Regrettably, the phone I received was an iPhone 12, in deplorable condition.

My attempts to resolve this issue with Twig have been met with a disheartening response, stating that some of my items did not meet their standards. This has left me feeling deceived and mistreated as a customer.

Given the blatant mix-up, the condition of the device received, and the glaring discrepancy in IMEI numbers, I implore Twig to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and rectify the situation without delay. I possess concrete evidence and screenshots as proof of the mishandling of my transaction.

This deeply frustrating experience has left me with no choice but to consider pursuing legal action. I sincerely hope that Twig takes immediate steps to resolve this matter and regain the trust of its customers.

In light of this ordeal, I cannot in good conscience recommend Twig to anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy service.

Sent a phone that was in near immaculate condition- well within the "lived a little" category. They tried to downgrade it to fair and said there was considerable damage. Tried to knock over £100 off the offer. A great money maker if they are doing that a couple of times a day/week. Used them as they came up with a higher price on the search engines but clearly don't honour that price.

Excellent service took a little longer for the box to arrive to send off but was notified of the delay … literally next day after sending I got a notification for payment to my account pending and it arrived into my account before the end of the day. Really grateful for the extra pay this month. Worthwhile to sell your old tech ! I made £289 🙌🏻

I sold two iPhones them, both were fully paid out on the day they received them. I was kept up to date throughout. The only gripe would be the amount of time it takes for their packaging to arrive with you. I'd advise just printing your own label off which is what I ended up doing with one of the phones as the packaging never arrived. Overall though, very impressed with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Sent phone back over 2 months ago and heard nothing. Chased today and they said my phone is damaged and took £100 off the price. It was literally immaculate when I sent it. Really sad and disappointed. If I hadn’t have chased it I’d have probably gotten nothing. Terrible service. Will never ever use again

This is the best mobile selling service I’ve ever used. Twice now I have sold phones to them and received same day payment every time. Their communication is brilliant, they always keep you up to date on where your device is. I am always sceptical with these types of places but I cannot fault twig.

I sold my old IPhone 11 to this company, and was initially offered a good price. As with many of the other reviews on here, within a couple of days I received an email stating that my phone fell into the ‘well loved’ category and they needed to downgrade my offer by almost £100. The email attached photos of what was supposedly my damaged phone. The photos were clearly not of my IPhone. I emailed customer services and questioned the new offer. They apologised and asked me to disregard that email. They then sent me another email still downgrading the offer but by £20 more than the previous offer and with new photos attached. These new phots still didn’t look like my phone and included scratches I had never noticed. I asked them to confirm in writing that the photos attached were photos of my exact phone. I had no response. I requested my phone (that had no damage when sent to them) to be sent back to me in the exact condition they received it in as soon as possible and questioned the company’s disingenuous methods and tactics to deceive people. I then received an email confirming the original quoted amount would be paid that same day. I would have given one star, however as I did receive the money in the end I went with two stars. I would strongly recommend NEVER using this company and going with one of the other phone recycling companies who are not trying to rip people off with their underhand ways.
