Vamoose Bus Avis 363

Bus departed and arrived on time. Wifi worked sporadically. I would've liked to watch a movie during the round trip but none was shown.

I love the bus to Bethesda, where I am picked up by a friend. I would like to take the gold v=bus, but I would like it at mid-morning so I can get to Bethesda with some time left. Otherwise, it'scexcellentvway to get to Washington. I've tried driving, plane and train for years, and the bus is easier, faster and cheaper. Thanks !!

I have used Vamoose Bus service for a couple of years now, with great experiences most of the time. I once had a driver try to attempt to use his cellphone or music player, and thought better of it, and put it away, before I had a chance to comment, which I certainly would have done.
My most recent trip, was successful, inspite of the driver bending over a couple to times to retrieve his lunch from his cooler, and eat said lunch, while maneuvering this large, fully loaded vehicle I was unaware of what he was doing until close to the end of the trip, when I spotted the cooler at his feet, and realized, what had happened.
I am grateful that he was skillful enough to pull this off, safely, however, this is definitely not recommended behavior.

Reasonable, clean, efficient and easy to negotiate. For my purposes, the bus ride between Manhattan and Bethesda is the best.

Clean buses and courteous crew! And almost always on schedule! Only complaints are 1)need to fix the tray tables on the Gold buses - they are falling apart; 2) change the vinyl seats on the Gold buses - it feels cheap and is sweaty - yuck. the old ones were much better.

What I like about this bus service is the convenience of the parking lot in Bethesda and the fact that the bus always leaves on time. I'm able to park in the long term parking lot and wait for the bus under cover. There are several daily times to pick from and the price will vary accordingly. I have never had a "break down" or air conditioner problem but my daughter has in her travels back and forth from NYC. The bus Wi-Fi service is slow but it's there and the plug-ins for charging are convenient.
I have always found the drivers and check in personnel courteous and competent. They have even helped me hail cabs in NYC.
I definitely recommend this bus service.

Generally I have had good drivers who know the NYC - Arlington Va route. They are noticeably quick and professional. Every once in a while I get a driver who is either new or has not reviewed the GPS quick route. My last driver unfortunately fell in the "clueless" category. Instead of taking the usual direct route, he decided to enter D.C. and then got lost somewhere in the downtown district. Those of us who know the route because we have done this many times immediately recognized the problem. Sure enough he made many detours and circling around before we reached our final destination, quite a bit late. Suggest that all drivers periodically review the trip routes.

Vamoose is reliable, efficient, clean, almost always on time -- except when traffic doesn't permit it.

I recommend this company to anyone who wants to travel from NY to Bethesda, it's a very comfortable bus with wifi service included.

The bus was smaller than I expected on the ride to New York. On the way from New York it was a larger bus. On each trip the bus was clean and the drivers were very good.

The hardest part in Roslyn is where and how to line up. There is no one there to assist until the bus pulls in. In New York there are attendants right there no matter how early you are and ensure you line up correctly.

I used the rest room on the smaller bus and it was pretty much what I expected. I did not even check it on the ride back.

The bus ran pretty close to time in both directions. A nice inexpensive way to travel.

very good service, and mostly courteous customer service. One driver was rude to another customer sitting in front of me as she was parking the bus for a driver change, and the driver on the way back seemed to get turned around heading back through Jersey City into NYC. But in total, everything was just fine.

I haven't had any unpleasant experience with vamoose so far. The staff are consistent in dealing with clients .the buses are clean definitely and comfortable to ride on. I recommend vamoose to my friends and relatives . The bus fares are affordable.

My neighbor had an upsetting experience on the 4PM bus Friday 17 July from NYC to Betheseda..
The driver was nodding off and caught himself several times. My driver was alert and excellent on the 2:30 PM on Friday 24 July from NYC to Bethesda.

I've been taking trips to New York City on Vamoose bus for over five years. The staff is very dependable, the drivers outstanding, and the WiFi access is great, too! I love how you can earn free tickets! And occasionally I splurge and take the Gold Bus for a couple of dollars more!
I live within walking distance of a Greyhound Bus Station that goes to NY City, but I will travel the extra 3 miles just to ride the Vamoose clean and professional bus. Love Vamoose!

Wifi never works

I've take this bus plenty of time. Never have I had a problem. We get to the destination always when they say we will or earlier. They are very nice gentlemen that help with the bags and drive the bus. Great overall.

I would suggest just stronger wifi because even with the small things like checking the email it takes entirely too long.

Other then that PERFECT !!
