Vamoose Bus Avis 363

Vamoose is definitely one of the best DC to NY bus options. The buses are clean, run on time and have convenient pick up and drop off locations. (I love that Vamoose is so close to Penn Station.) However, the internet rarely works and when it does work it works very poorly. I really wish that this could be improved. Vamoose charges more than the other bus companies so its wifi should be a bit better, not worse, than the other buses.

Vamoose is my go-to bus service provider between VA and NYC. I appreciate very much that the bus is prompt, clean, and the bathroom doesn't smell. The fact that the electrical outlets always work is also a bonus. Wifi is iffy, but that's par for the course on all of the bus lines between VA/DC and NYC.

The one policy that Vamoose needs to change is telling its drivers not to let passengers off the bus for a stop mid-trip. Long bus rides aren't easy on the driver nor the passengers. A quick 10 minute bathroom and stretch break is MUCH appreciated. I tip drivers that allow us to get off the bus.

Had a great trip. Rewards program is great since my family lives in Lorton and I live in NYC. Nice to save a few bucks when I can. Will definitely continue to ride.

I travel to New York from DC quite often and I will only use Vamoose if I'm taking a bus. They are incredibly efficient, always on time, and the only "breakdown" they've had was the wifi was a bit wonky. Head and shoulders above the other bus companies. They also have excellent customer service.

Expedient, seamless, friendly and professional ALL around!!! They definitely earn my loyalty every time.

Last weekend was my first time using Vamoose Bus Service. The staff in DC were extremely friendly and customer service was excellent. i rode on the 1:30pm bus and even though the trip took 6 hours the bus driver was friendly and kept us informed of the traffice situations. The bus driver also new ways to get around the traffic.

On my return trip home the NY staff was very efficient. The bus left on time and we were back in 4.5 hours. That bus left at 5pm. I closed my eyes and when I woke up we were there.
Excellent bus service. I will use them from now on. They are way better than Megabus, Bolt, and Greyhound.

I been traveling back and forth between these cities for the last 3 years and Vamoose by far surpasses the customer satisfaction provided by greyhound or megabus. You pay a slight premium with vamoose but totally worth it for hassle free travel experience. If you travel frequently Vamoose rewards points make it worthwhile too.

I have been traveling to NY for many years using VAMOOSE.
I like the services in terms of puntuality, accomodation, staff, safety, etc.
I always get support when I call to deal with reschedules, points, etc. Once, one of the owners responded to me directly to compensate for a complain that I made. GOOD work...
I will apreciate if you are more clear in terms of travelers' behavior. The use of electronic divices (phone, computers, games, etc.) is very disturbing. Also, low conversation is anoying.
Keep the points in place because this and the good services are the reazons why I am loyal to VAMOOSE.

The bus was convenient and the journay was safe

We had a great trip going to and from NY. On the way back was the best, we caught the late night commuter and dozed in and out of sleep. It seemed like 2 hours and we were back home. I would use this service again.

Vamoose is reliable and comfortable. The drivers are excellent and courteous. We have recommended the company to many people and hope to ride with them for many years to come.

The bus was available ahead of time, with adequate personnel to assist customers with check in and luggage. Everything was great -- friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable bus, on-time departure and arrival. I'll definitely use Vamoose Bus again.

I am a regular business commuter (bus between NYC and Wash DC two or more times a month). I rely on wireless to work while on the bus. If Vamoose does not improve the power of its wireless I likely will switch to Tripper.

I have been using Vamoose since the days it only accepted cash. I am very happy with the service and the fact it is family owned.

Good, dependable service. One of the drivers was pretty choppy, so the ride up was a bit nauseous, but the ride down was smooth sailing.

The trip was efficient, the driver competent. I am glad I took the Gold Bus for the experience. The bathroom is difficult--I use a cane and found it hard to brace myself with nothing to hang onto.
