Poor customer service
The products are decent, but the VISN app is awful. The updates render the safes useless when it fails, and the customer service is non-existent. Terrible.
Do not buy these products until they figure out their VISN interface and perfect their customer service.

Incredibly rosponsove support team! I had a technical issue with the biometric scanner on my safe, and they had processed and shipped me a replacement safe within a day! Couldn’t be happier with the level of customer service. Add to that the fact that the safes are well built, and very cool, and I’d recommend a Vaultek safe to anyone!

Vaultek helps me sleep better.
I have now have a second Vaultek product and am very satisfied with both. I use one at home and the other when I travel. I sleep better on the road having someplace to keep items I want secure.
But I wish they offered an upgraded security cable option made from Stainless Steel Aircraft Cable - Type 304.

The product itself was good but there was items missing. I send an email regarding this matter and got a response telling me to list the missing items. So I did and never got a reply back or a call back.

Best product and even better service for the money we spend. My safe’s battery died and I lost my keys, I ended up getting it open but damaged the locks and without me asking for a free replacement, they did it right by me. They sent me a replacement. What more I can say!!

Desktop Plate Mount for DS2i
Reviewing the Vaultek Desktop Mounting Plate for the DS2i Smart Safe
The mounting plate is solid metal and feels very high quality. It comes with four screws for desk or drawer installation, which is appreciated. That said, it would be even better if Vaultek included optional screw lengths. The screws provided were slightly longer than my drawer, so I added a thin piece of plywood underneath for proper support.
Once installed, the plate locks in securely and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Since mounting the safe, it no longer shifts at all when opening or closing it—even with my firearm inside. Before installing the plate, the safe would move slightly and needed occasional repositioning.
Overall, it’s a well-built, sturdy mounting solution that significantly improves stability. 👍

I have owned a Vaultek Lifepod for a few years and was so happy and impressed with the quality of it I bought one for my nephew when he moved into his own home. Would highly recommend.
